Matthew was prompt, professional, friendly, and efficient. Problem with my dishwasher identified and fixed before I knew it. Would definitely recommend. read more

Very sketchy company, buyer BEWARE! I have a Big Chill refrigerator that is 2yrs old, the compressor went out. On Dec 11, 2025, Mr. Appliance tech "Zach" did a service call (very nice person). He stated that I needed a new compressor and the charge was going to be $1082; $600 for labor and $482 for compressor. I said I wanted to get a second opinion because that seemed high and the refrigerator was only 2yrs old. So, I called Big Chill to see what they would do and they stated, "....have them call us and we'll send out the part(s) at no charge....". I called Mr. Appliance to see if they would work with Big Chill and they said they would check into it and let me know. The day following the service call, the tech called and told me that Mr Appliance would work with Big Chill and he would get back with me to confirm the order. I never heard back from him or anyone in the office. After waiting 3 days to get confirmation that the part was ordered, I called Mr Appliance, they informed me that they spoke to Big Chill and ordered the part and I would receive a new quote. All of the sudden, I was told that I needed another part for the refrigerator and that my labor charge would be between $700-$800. I then received an invoice/quote with the labor will be $1000. I wonder what changed from the service call to the new quote? Perhaps lost parts up-charge? I learned that Mr Appliance adds an up-charge to the parts they order for the customer (I think this is typical). However, I think they planned to get that lost $$ by increasing the labor charge. It would appear that getting as much $$ out of a customer is the main goal for this company. To sum it up: I was told 4 different charges for labor; $600 initially, the following day by phone from the tech $400-$500, today by office person (phone) $700-$800, and then $1000 was what was on the invoice that was sent to my email. I found a more reputable company to work with, however, I wanted to share with you my experience. read more

I am not happy about my experience with Mr Appliance. I paid half the part fee for the next visit, and I called and asked if I could get a refund and cancel the visit. They told me YES I can get a refund in full and cancel the visit. I was expecting my 118$ back but I just got 3$ back due to having to pay a 20% cancelation fee which nobody tells you about but is atleast in the fine print of ordering the part. It doesnt matter if it was or wasn't. They told me I could get my money back. I hate big corporations that just suck all the money from you instead of doing what's right. read more

a simple belt replacement cost on a clothes dryer over $304.00 then 28.89tax today I assumed the labor would be longer than the 10 minutes it took so I agreed to pay it but the tech was done in 10 minutes to remove the drum and put the belt on. The belt probably cost only 20 bucks max; was overcharged will think twice about using them again. read more

First, reviews of this business on Yelp are extremely dated and blatantly inaccurate. Consult Google Reviews and other sources for most recent and accurate information. Mr. Appliance is an exceptional repair service. Prompt, informative, clean and congenial. Most important, they work with homeowner reimbursed warranty companies whereas other service providers here in Clarksville (such as Absolute Best Appliance) do not. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Appliance of Clarksville for any appliance repair needs. If you have a refrigerator issue, request technician Matt Willis. Matt is a technically competent and an outstanding person and technician. He went through detailed troubleshooting of an older unit in our home, accurately diagnosed the problem and provided obtainable solutions. We are pleased with Mr. Appliance of Clarksville and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Mr Appliance - The bill. - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Clarksville, Tennessee

Damn I should've read these recent reviews. Called to unclog a dishwasher and when the guy called after inspection, all he wanted was to replace the pump from a unit less than 10 yrs old. And when I persisted to just unclog it, their fee would be $260!! On top of the $125 visit fee??! Wow what a rip-off!! Plus they'd have to come back another day!! read more

warning - classic rip off scheme. Bottom element of oven needed replacing, a 30 minute job to replace a 30 dollar part. they wanted to charge me almost three hundred dollars!!!!!. guys who showed up were dirty and sloppy. NOT recommended. read more

Not a good experience at all. I should have read all the reviews before I contacted them. I would give zero stars if I could. First, they tell me they take home warranties and then when they get there they charge me 125 dollar service fee and then claim they don't take my home warranty!!! Stay far away from this company it is a racket. read more

Updated 2/27/2017 The owner of the company personal got in contact with me because I was not satisfied with service call from one of their service tech. He called me and asked if he could personal revisit the service call. He work with my schedule and made sure he not only addressed my issues but used it as a learning opportunity to train the service technician. I was very pleased with the service I received. It is nice to see a company that actually cares about the service they provide. Thank you Nathan. read more

Mr Appliance is a horrible company, if I could give zero stars I would! This business is locally owned and operated in the Clarksville and Nashville area. DO NOT USE THEM! They sent a technician out to our home that did not even touch or look at our refrigerator, he only asked what was going on with it, once we explained what issues we were having, the tech responded with " you just need a new frig cause the back of yours will be completely rusted out and need to be replaced" he then charged me $125 and left after never once touching or testing anything on my frig. Well after he left we pulled the frig out and found the back of our Frigidaire Refrigerator to be just like new with no rust or ice present. I called the owner to explain my frustrations and asked for a refund after being told false information and he just talked in circles and refused to return the diagnostic fee. This company wants nothing but your money, I told them all of the issues/symptoms our frig was having prior to them sending someone out. They didn't touch anything and test anything, he didn't even pull the frig out and look at the back of the unit while he was there, what a joke!!! Call Absolute Best if you need your appliances to be truly diagnosed! read more

Terrible communication scheduled an appointment to repair my washer told them when asked it was a Maytag and fairly new I thought might have been under warranty but the needed part wasn't under warranty so this was a moot point, found out later. But they wouldn't do warranty work for Maytag and this wasnt mentioned when I made the appointment which I felt it should have been. There is what they said was a $125 trip charge that would be applied to the repair bill if you chose to do the repair. Technician quoted us over $400 to repair and part had to be ordered so not sure when would be repaired. I called back to the office thought the lady was argumentative to discuss this while tech was looking up part, initially declined the repair wanted to see if part was covered and if I could get part faster as they weren't sure of repair date. Called back to go ahead and get repair done as they already had $125 of my money for 10 minutes work they now refuse to do the repair because they didn't like being questioned I guess. Lady who answered phone was rude twice and said her boss/owner said don't repair maybe he should call me himself so we could discuss these isssues!!! read more
