Did really well efficiently cleaning a 5 bedroom house. We appreciated the level detail and care placed in deep cleaning our home.

I was a little unsure and skeptical at first: 1) paying for help 2) even though they've all been…read morecertified and background checked, I'm still trusting a total stranger to help me with my kids. 3) The biggest thought in my head: Is this legit or a scam... of course with anything I always do my research and trusted the reviews I read so I wanted to make sure that I took the time to write my honest opinion, thoughts, and reviews for other parents like me. Background info on my situation: I'm a single mom with 2 little ones (4 and 5). We are Florida residents and annual pass holders. This particular trip was in March 2023 and with no other adult I can't do child swap and Disney does NOT offer any type of services or accommodations for situations like this. I reached out to this company and fairly quickly got a response back. I reserved my day even though I was still skeptical but I gave it a try and I am so glad I did!! Taylor was our helper for the day and she was amazing! Very helpful, very laid back! It was all about us and what we wanted to do. I'm not going to lie, it was a little awkward at first as I am not used to hiring help like this for 'normal' things like: pushing the stroller; helping with bathroom breaks; helping with lunch time and getting snacks for me and the kids but Taylor was great and she quickly made me feel less awkward and more comfortable. Things I liked and that stood out: 1) The extreme flexibility of start time and location to meet. I got to call the shots of the time I wanted to start my day with them, I think I might have even changed the start time last minute and that was completely fine! I'm not a morning person so I chose 11am to meet up at Hollywood Studios. Taylor was on time and that was a positive start! 2) The day before, Taylor personally contacted me through email to introduce herself and get a feel for what we wanted to accomplish during our time with her. We eventually exchanged phone numbers so we could easily communicate for the day. 3) Taylor was amazing! The kids LOVED her and wanted to ride the rides with her instead of me!!! LoL. So I got to take advantage on a couple of rides where she took the kids and I sat back and waited and got some important phone calls done. 4) Taylor captured a lot of pictures and videos of me and the kids and kindly sent them to me. Capturing 'our' moments was always on her mind and I am so grateful because as a busy mom with my hands full most of the time, I sometimes forget to capture certain moments. 5) I never felt like we were a burden and she happily helped in every way she could and not once did I ever feel like it was a burden to her or that she was annoyed or any sort of negative impression. 6) Again, the flexibility!!! I never felt rushed like she had to leave at a certain time. Our day ran longer than I was anticipating and that was no problem at all! 7) We literally got to do everything that we wanted to do!!! As annual pass holders we visit pretty frequently and I don't get to do nearly half the stuff that I want to do mostly because of the time involved of just doing simple tasks when I'm by myself with my two kids. Or I'm just too tired and exhausted lol. Kids got to ride every ride they wanted and so did I! - I did purchase genie+/lightning lane because lines were long, of course during spring break week, and it was worth it for me. It was no issue at all that we had genie+ and Taylor did not. I felt bad at first but realizing that I was paying for her services to help me out and knowing she too has an annual pass, helped me to get passed that feeling bad when she waited for us while we rode some rides. I figured maybe it was a little welcomed break for her, as well. I had a great experience with this company and with Taylor as our caregiver! I highly recommend. Everything was very easy and there was no hidden cost or fees. Side Note: I figured a tip for Taylor's services for the day was expected and appropriate but I wasn't sure how much and what is the norm for these services so or those wondering: The standard 20% is appreciated. I think there might have even been an option for 35% but I can't remember for sure. I gave her some cash and the balance I added onto my card. I hope this LONG review helps! 10/10 I would use again.. In fact, I just booked another day with them for my next trip at the end of this month (April).

Kelsey worked with us, very last minute the week of spring break, to give us a break! Sara, our caregiver, was truly a life-saver and a game changer! She knew the park like the back of her hand (from fun facts to ride times)and she got us through the Magic Kingdom by noon. She watched the baby during certain rides (yes, something we thought we would never do) and took our son through Tomorrowland while we ate lunch. Our son adored her and our baby allowed her to hold her, something our neighbors back home can't do. She saved our backs from baby carrying and gave us a really enjoyable day with our children! We were super nervous, but Extra Hands keeps their services small in order to ensure quality and it shows in their people. I'm sure they are all wonderful, but ask for Sara if you want a pro who is also just really fun and fits seamlessly into your family! Thanks again Kelsey and Sara!

I talked to John on the phone about the type of training he thought she would need. Just through the phone conversation I learned a lot about what he was able to do for our family but also for my pup. He gave me some advice over the phone that I could start practicing with her. Even though my zip code was a few miles out of what their website says they cover, he still was willing to travel down to my house for training. He has a package of 3 initial trainings(which he says is usually all most people need) and then additional ones if needed. I was looking around at petco/petsmart trainings but they did not seem like they'd be helpful since theres only one person with up to like 5 dogs and the things they were teaching seemed like stuff I could just find online myself. After our first hour and a half of private session and consultation, my little Ellie has shown tremendous( if not the most I've seen in this short amount of time) improvement! I also actually have a structure of a training regimen I can practice with her now until the next two sessions which are flexible in timing. ALSO, he brought toys, treats, and chews for Ellie to use for her training and to keep afterwards! Great surprise! HIGHLY recommend their in home training with John. He has extensive knowledge on training and understands the way dog's minds work and how they communicate which is very important when bonding and training your dog. It is also private 1 on 1 training so the whole hour and a half is all focused on your dog and it's needs unlike the retail store training. It is all positive reinforcement training so nothing negative! I am already confident that this was worth the time and money only after our first session and about as much as I would've spent on the petco or petsmart training! Sure it is half the amount of classes I'd be getting but the quality covers down. Not trying to knock the big chains, but the training just isn't the best out there. TIP: the phone # on their website was out of service as of 5/18/18 so I'd use their contact section to leave a message and they will call or email you back within a few days

I recently toured this day care on a Friday midday with my husband the day we went to go see Star…read moreTrek. We were not expecting to go tour a daycare, and this place was not expecting us. I was pleasantly surprised and touring this place has caused us to tour various other daycares in this area as a possible choice for my son once he turns one in August. Pros: It is in the Waterford Lakes Shopping center so you can run errands at the stores there or go to the gym, or even pick up dinner. The day care has a parent's night out once a month which is very convenient if you're like me and don't have any family in the area. The center is brand new, and apparently under new management which is also making some decor changes. For a one year old at the time of our visit they were charging 195$ per week. They are outfitted with web cameras that parents and family can use to see the child throughout the day (extra 20$ per month charge). Meals are included (3 snacks and lunch with milk). They have a playground in the back (I did not get to see it in person). Curriculum, lessons, and menus are posted daily for parents. When we walked through the classrooms we got to see the teachers in action singing songs and actually interacting with the kids. Kids actually ran up to the director and hugged her. Food was actually being prepared in the kitchen (sandwhiches and hot food in a large pot). There was a bilingual program in place for sign language and English, no Spanish. Cons: This place only accepts kids one year or older. The webcam fee is not worked into the price of the weekly tuition. Meals on the menu looked healthy, but the snacks were along the line of Cheez-its and apple juice (I really don't want to give my kid high sodium snacks or juice, so would have to bring my own snacks). The day care's construction looks small from the outside, but is really big on the inside (like the TARDIS) in the sense that it is long and skinny. This means that in order to get into certain classrooms you may have to walk through another class. No Spanish classes offered (I'm raising my son bilingually). Security was just a receptionist and a half-door (Dutch door) that was locked.

From…read morethe very beginning, both Chelsea and Heather were warm, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to making sure we felt confident and supported throughout the entire birth process. Chelsea ended up being our Doula when I went into labor and she went above and beyond, showing up at the hospital and being exactly what we needed in the moment. Her calm, reassuring presence made all the difference. We felt well-prepared going into the birth thanks to the time she spent with us beforehand, answering every question and walking us through what to expect. When labor began, we felt ready--and during the birth, her support and knowledge were invaluable. What we really appreciated was the ability to reach out with questions both before and after the birth too. Having that level of access and guidance was incredibly comforting during such a life-changing time. If you're considering hiring a doula, this was the best decision we made and I can't recommend them enough! We will definitely be using that again.
