I debated whether or not I would actually leave a review for a while. But after my experience, it would be wrong for me to not share. After booking the cleaner for a move-in move out clean, I was told upon their arrival that I would need to pay an up charge for the "construction dust" the cleaner claimed was everywhere since we'd had carpet removed. The carpet removers had already cleaned once, but I agreed to the requested, on the spot, up charge of $100+ on the condition that the Condo be truly and completely clean when it was done. After the first attempt at this services cleaning, the condo might as well not have been touched. Entire rooms had been missed. Shelves had not been cleaned and the cleaner had not even noticed that some of the closets were there. We spoke to the owner, and they agreed to send her back out, She did return and try cleaning again. She did actually go into all the rooms and though there was visible dirt (black in windowsills, old built up dust on the outlets, smudges on the windows, etc.) we did accept this cleaning job because I just wanted this mess to be over. But weeks later and I'm still finding places where she just did not clean. I paid for a move in move out clean WITH an up charge for extra cleaning and got...two days of stress and the old owners crumbs still in the kitchen drawers. Sinks, windowsills, cabinets. I've spent hours scrubbing them all myself. I paid hundreds of dollars and I wholeheartedly regret wasting the money. Please don't repeat my mistake. read more

Edit! After some back and forth communication, we agreed to try again and I gave them the opportunity to make amends. Originally, I was so upset, I was unwilling to give them another chance. However, I changed my mind, and I am glad that I did. I'm not sure if the first crew was brand new, or didn't understand the assignment, but this crew was totally and completely thorough. They found and cleaned things I hadn't even mentioned in the original messages; climbed on stepstools to get everything, and when all was said and done, they made sure there was nothing else they could do to make up for the debacle. They were very professional and friendly the entire time - I wasn't sure what to expect as I had been upset and demanding a refund - but they came in as consummate professionals and took care of everything and more! Ultimately, I was very pleased with the end result! had hoped to not post this negative review, but after communicating with the business, they are unwilling to honor their guaranty of satisfaction. I hired three for a Deep Clean, and was very honest with the condition of my house and that I have 2 shedding dogs and 5 cats. We even joked about saving time by bringing a ShopVac! I have an 1800sq ft house 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and an office. They did not have to clean 2 of the bedrooms (I have teenagers - they can clean their own rooms!). I am putting my house on the market and had a professional photographer coming the next day, and I needed something done by someone other than me. I was so excited to be able to come home to a clean home! However when I walked in, I noticed a few items under an end table and when I moved them, out came a bunch of animal hair. Ok, one thing missed. Then I started looking around. There was grime in corners, dust and dirt on the floors, etc. While I don't necessarily expect them to go under heavy furniture, I was shocked to discover that they didn't clean around or under ANYTHING. A very light towel rack. My two dog kennels that slide and move easily (and were empty - the dogs were at a friends house). The dog food container that's in a corner. I put my hand on the floor of the bathroom and collected a small pile of dirt and dust! I ended up having to clean after my 'deep cleaning'. Perhaps the most upsetting thing is that after contacting the business with photos and requesting a refund, I was told that the house was left a 'lot better than it was found' and that they would not accept responsibility for all of what they missed, just some (the some is not clear). They claimed that my cat attacked one of them, and that's why there was a very large pile of hair left by my bed. But the windowsills? The corners, the kitchen sink?!?! I don't usually hire a housekeeper - I consider it a true luxury - but the few I have had who were hired for just a regular clean were MUCH more thorough than the supposed 'deep clean' service I requested. I am truly disappointed in the response from the business as well. I initially asked for half, then as I kept discovering more and more, I asked for a full refund. That's when I got the 'well, we did something' response. I said what they had done amounted to $60 and I wanted the rest back. They have not responded. read more
