Was in Ripon for the morning and was looking on Yelp for a good breakfast. This restaurant popped up and I'm glad I found it. Breakfast was delicious and came out quickly. The house potatoes were very good and a nice variation from hash browns. They accommodated my request to add one pancake to my meal for a minimal charge. Waitstaff was friendly and refilled my drink several times. Drinks were served in mason jars which was a nice touch. The decor of the restaurant had a warm and homey feel. Amazing and fresh food. We loved it so much the first day, four of us unanimously voted to go back the second day. Omelets, belgian waffles, corn beef hash were all phenomenal. Long overdue review for this great new addition to the local dining scene. Mr. and Mrs. P. make the food from scratch on site. It's really good. The soups are FABULOUS...try the minestrone on Mondays or the ham and bean. My friend and I recently met for breakfast. My banana pecan pancakes kept me full until nearly dinner time, and my friend's Denver sandwich was delicious. The friendly service, comfortable atmosphere and good coffee rounded things out. I will definitely be a regular here! read more

On our long drive home we stumbled upon Mr. and Mrs. P's Eatery and I'm happy to say it was a wonderful experience. We were seated right away with a high chair for my son and asked if we wanted anything to drink. After reviewing the menu we decided on the mushroom barley soup of the day, the Reuben sandwich and the Greek omelet. My husband likes to think of himself as a Reuben connoisseur and after one bite he declared it was the best Reuben he has ever had. I enjoyed the greek omelet as did my son and the soup of the day I will be attempting to recreate at home. On the way out we grabbed a salted caramel bar which was absolutely delicious. Looking forward to the next time we are in the area. I will definitely be back. read more

Two visits and two different experiences. On the first visit a great omelet and sides and service was ok but not great. Second visit a few weeks later, the same omelet was greasy and service was very slow. When I asked about the pools of grease from the cheese, the response was that the "omelet person" was off this week. Slow checkout. Went here while on vacation in Green Lake and had great food! Lots of space and cute atmosphere along with delicious food made for a very nice experience. We got breakfast foods and I had the pancakes with fresh strawberries and bananas on top which were really good. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. This is the perfect breakfast place. Everything is made from scratch including the jam! Hard to find these days. Great bakery items and they will make specialty cakes. The interior of the restaurant is honey and a little kitschy. Loved it! read more

Not a fan of their Friday night fish fry. I have food issues and generally check websites for menu information prior to patronizing a restaurant. I didn't see any notice of a Friday night fish fry that replaced an open menu. We patronized the restaurant two days earlier for lunch, and didn't see any notice of a fish fry only for Friday night dinner. When we got to the restaurant there was a notice posted on the entrance door indicative of such. Because baked chicken was offered in addition to fish (fried cod), we chose to stay. Two people in our party really liked the cod, my baked chicken was good, but it was not what I wanted that particular evening for dinner. In fact, two of the three people in our party had planned on eating something other than what we consumed that evening. Wasn't crazy about the manner in which the food was served. We were never asked what we wanted to eat. Instead, all that was offered that evening with the fish fry (fried cod, baked chicken, french fries, cole slaw and mac and cheese) was brought to the table and served family style. We ate what was brought to us for the most part, but I hate to see food wasted, and we did waste some, particularly the macaroni and cheese -- way too rich. Drinks were extra. Got a mini chocolate eclair for dessert that was good, but was gone in two small bites. For the $11.95 per adult we were charged, we felt it was too high for the type of food we got and won't be going back any time soon on Fridays -- unless the open menu becomes available. read more

I must say that for the most part the food is good. My fault lies with their staff. I was recently there with my entire family 9 people 5 hungry kids. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait. I said no problem. The kids, my wife and daughter-in-law waited right outside the door my son and I waited inside sitting on the two easy chairs. Then a party of 12 came in said hello to some members of the staff. After 3 or 4 minutes this party was seated. When I complained I was told this is Andy' s party of 12 I replied I'm Andy a party of nine she replied oh well. We left and went across the street to McDonalds. My wife and I have been back several times since and the food was good, however someone needs to learn how to make hollandaise sauce for eggs Benedict it was the worst I've ever had. Just tried Mr & Mrs P's Eatery for Sunday brunch and it was so good! The selection is large and the prices can't be beat. The place was busy, but we were seated right away and our server (I wish I had gotten her name), was extremely friendly. Food came out quickly and the portions were large. Everything was delicious. They make strawberry jam and it was so good on the toast. Next time I'm in town, I'll make a point of stopping back to try lunch. read more

Mr. and Mrs. P's Eatery is in much need of a good cook for their Friday Night Family style dinner. The Baked Chicken and Mac n Cheese were cold, the coleslaw tasted like pure vinegar and the first serving of fish must have been sitting in a warmer....was very rubbery. The Hostess brought us out some what she called hot and fresh Chicken and Mac n Cheese, The Mac n Cheese was still cold and no flavor and only one piece of Chicken was HOT!!!!! Our desert was to be a chocolate mouse but what we got was a very small chocolate mouse éclair that was still frozen in the middle. They were the same kind you get a one of the China 1 restaurants. While we waited for our food we watched the bus boy clean off a booth.. He sat in the booth and we saw him take his two fingers and scoop up some left over Mac n Cheese and ate it ..GROSS.....He came back to the booth with the spray bottle and placemats. But never used the spray bottle on the table, he just put the placemats down and arranged the silverware?????? He than took the high chair away and never wiped it down!!!!! They need to make sure their coffee is being filtered wasn't happy getting grounds in my cup of coffee. We will not be back!!!! read more

First off don't get me wrong, Lunch is unbelievable and fantastic. But we had breakfast there this morning for the first time and we all ended up with food poisoning. 2 people ordered steaks that tasted like it had been grilled in pine sol. The eggs were very hard when ordered sunny side up. The Hollandaise sauce was nothing like it should be and it tasted like a bland cream sauce. Its suppose to have a rich lemony flavor and this was nothing like it. But as I stated in the beginning there lunch's are amazing but it's a bit pricey for the food you get and it being in Ripon. Stay away from breakfast there!!! read more
