He was paid 6500 to remove a tree and put in sod. He did not remove the tree so the yard died the next year. He did not even try. After telling us we did not have common sense to treat the tree he allegedly removed we told he we would find somebody else to fix his mistake. Upon pulling up the sod we discovered said tree. Do not do business with this person. He was paid to grade an area of the yard and he could not even do that successfully. The back yard has plenty of tree roots that he was also supposed to remove. I will post pictures later why would you place sod over a dead huge tree. Dont worry I have pictures of all it. The before and after. He was very upset that he did not charge enough money so he just did not remove the tree. He is liar and a thief. DO NOT TRUST HIM. Also nobody paid you in payments. MQ Landscape did an excellent job! Moises came out to give an estimate the same day I called and had his crew back out to do the work shortly after. They arrived early and got right to work. They finished cleaning up my very overgrown weeds, and took down several trees, within just a few hours. Moises was very professional, him and his crew were great to work with. I found Moises to be very unprofessional and condescending. I was very disappointed by this since the reviews on here are mostly raves. He was late to our appointment and no one bothered to call until after he was already late. Nevertheless, we still wanted to give him a fair shot to earn our business. Once he was there, we asked him about the services he offers. He went on to say how his main focus is tree service. I found this odd since his business card had "Landscaping" in large font and "Tree Services" in small font. Should be the other way around Lol... Anyway, he made us feel very insecure about our new home purchase. He couldn't really provide much of a straight answer to most of our questions, whether it be about price or the health of our trees. And then for us, what was the most off-putting, was he asked us how much we paid for our house. That felt like an inappropriate and unprofessional thing to ask. If that weren't enough, he then told us what he paid for his house (much cheaper before housing spike) in what felt like an attempt to rub it in our face that he got a much better deal. These folks are punctual and knowledgeable. We have several aspens and some ash trees. A few were dead needed to be removed but others we'll be able to save based on MQ treatment recommendations. The first time It was expensive ($4000) to trim a huge tree, but they did a really good job. Second time they got rid of a fallen limb from one tree, cut off the top of a small tree and sort of trimmed a third tree. There are several broken, dried little limbs hanging from the original tree but they'll break off next Winter probably. The second tree is the issue. Needed it to be trimmed down into a narrow cone shape because it was not getting enough water to survive. Removing sprawling limbs that weren't providing shade should have ben cut off. They made fun of me for that idea. When finished, several sprawling limbs were still present, along with already dead ones. The crew are teenage boys who don't understand what it takes to grow flowering plants out here and how people don't want them trampled or crushed. One old plastic chair was broken and several plants crushed--along with rude talk and inappropriate questions and comments. 1st time good---2nd time bad. Will be finding someone else. read more

I first met Moises for an estimate on one tree that was touching the roof of a rental property and needed to go. We walked around the property and found a few others that needed to be taken down and decided to have it all done at the same time. Moises was very up front with the pricing and timeline. Everyone was out the very next day and the job was completed before lunch. I did not pay for the stump grinding but they cut notches in the stumps and applied stump killer free of charge. After the work was done another highly recommend company on Yelp got back to me and estimated their cost would have been a bit over 50% highter. Wonderful service! These guys were out doing my neighbor's trees, so I stopped over to ask if they could remove some yard debris for me. I also got a quote to have some trees removed and the stumps ground down. They came out a few days later and hammered all the work out in about 5 hours. I got a few quotes to trim our (very large) Ash and Maple trees and Moises at MQ was very competitive with his pricing so I decided to go with him. He was also friendly, followed all COVID protocols and the team arrived right on time. They did a great job at cleaning up our trees as well as cleaning up all of the branches that fell. We had our trees trimmed by a different company a few years ago and MQ was WAY better. They spent a solid 4 hours working & the trees look so much better. Even though the recent snow storm was minor, there was a lot of damage that was done with limbs and trees being down. Most of the other companies I called had availability further out that what I needed and it was not even guaranteed. For example, I called one company to ask for an estimate as to how much is going to be to have most of the damaged and debris removed... They said they were only assisting current customers and would not be taking any new customers. Now, that's a doubled edges sword to me. MQ landscaping, did have great availability and the estimate was done within at least two days of my initial phone call. The price they quoted before was unimaginable, I didn't think it was going to be sw affordable to have the work done! we scheduled a week out, with potentially being after Wednesday. However, the crew showed up Monday morning which shocked me and showed me how great they really are! transformed my Jungle back into a brand new backyard from scratch. The possibilities I have to not create something is endless thanks to them. i'll definitely work with his company in the future for all of my backyard landscaping needs! read more

The owner was rude and condescending when I confrtonted him about the issue and said it would take more money, lol. The audacity of some people. My wife and I agree 100% with the other 5 star ratings below. Moises and his crew came out today and cut down 5 dead trees. They got there on time, were quick and efficient getting them down, cut them low as we had requested, and they cleaned up the front yard and roof very well. And as others have stated, the price was fair. We have had other companies cut down some of the trees in the back yard, and the other company's prices were much higher, and they were not as nice as Moises and his crew.
