He wrapped things I told him not to and not just wrapped them but blankets, bands and plastic wrap. When I asked him about it when he walked by me with 5 things that I had told him didn't need to be wrapped, (because it was taking WAY longer than it should) he told me he needed to protect his shins!!! He also claimed that the move was 100 feet from door to truck (not 50 ft as I had told them). Images show how close it was. When I spoke to the office manager after the move and told her how unhappy I was with how this move was handled, she informed me that the person who did the move was the owner and her husband and that he FORBID her to give me any kind of discount. I'd recommend looking at other movers who are in the area, because you have zero recourse with this company and they don't stand behind their work or follow your instructions.

I don't know when they opened...but recently…read more Contract signed after intro/sales pitch by the owner...seemed like a nice guy starting a new business. We had to store as the condo would not be ready. 5 days of storage..he said all would be insured and would have to be moved from the truck into 'vaults' to keep safe. The owner said there was a Special going on and that storage would be free. So, we signed. We had not been told we could not leave our dresser and armoire full of clothes. In past moves, workers wrapped the furniture, drawers full, w/ plastic to keep safe. Even on a cross-country move. After the move and storage....they moved us to the condo: Findings: King bed slats were not to be found and lost nuts/screws to put the bed together. Husband had to buy lumber and nuts/ screws and build (w/ paid help) supports and slats for the king bed. Broken crystal, broken glass for table top, lost finial for artsy lamp, whole drawer of kitchen utility utensils lost, crushed vintage chair...cracked w/ lifted wood on frame, missing 2 gold necklaces(they did not move jewelry...that was mine to move and I told the workers to leave that pile alone at least twice). We ended up signing a release and they knocked $600 off our bill. We still haven't found everything. An incredibly stressful and disappointing experience.
