We are a family of 6 so there was a lot of stuff, but they had a huge truck and extra boxes on hand that we didn't know that we needed, but we kept finding more items that needed to be boxed up! Manny Lopez and his movers were very quick and careful with all of our furniture and boxes. They also unloaded quickly, reassembled items and placed items where we wanted them. I would highly recommend this moving company. I have a friend that also moved recently and he hired a DIFFERENT moving company; which my friend said that that company had movers that worked very slow - Manny and his guys were fast and mindful of our time.

The first star I deduct is due to their low ball estimate of the time and expense of the move. It ended up taking twice as long and costing twice as much as was estimated. That is $1,000 more than estimated. I did move from a 3rd floor apartment to a 2nd floor condo with several glass tables and mirrors but they knew that when they estimated it could be done in 4-5 hours with 3 movers. It took 9 hours. The second star deduction is that they worked as if they were being paid by the day and not by the hour. They were not slow but they were not fast. I have seen movers who really moved with urgency. Fast movers move quickly on the stairs when they are not carrying boxes. These folks were not fast movers. If they were paying $210 per hour I think they would move faster. They lost another star because I paid for 3 movers and got 2 experienced movers and an 18 year old cousin who had never moved anything. He stood around in the beginning waiting to be told what to do. He also showed no initiative regarding doing what he could be doing. There were times he was checking his phone and taking significant rest breaks. I argued I should pay less because I only had 2 and a half movers but my argument was ignored. They finally lost the fourth star because when I went back to the apartment I found that they had forgotten a 2.5 x 4 foot framed print in the bathroom and also left some of their garbage from wrapping items. There are positive things to say. They were very careful. They called in advance and arrived early. They worked to reassemble tricky furniture. They were also very friendly.

Very very mixed feelings about this company. The movers were great and very friendly. They were…read moreextremely efficient. They were even up for the challenge of moving me from a three story apartment to my own home. Only problem is they clearly damaged my 65" TV, by carrying it ONE HANDED, out to the truck. One of the movers put the TV over his shoulder, went down three flights of stairs, and loaded it on the truck. When we arrived at the new place, they brought it in together, and one of the movers wanted me to inspect it for damage. There was no damage either of us could see, but he didn't advise we turn on the TV to look for any damage. So they proceed unloading the truck, gave them a tip, and they left. About an hour later, I finally got around to turning on the TV, as thing was pretty busy with the move, and there is damage to the LCD panel. Which is NOT visible when the TV is off. I talked it over with the Operations Manager, Kevin Berry, and he said there is no damage based on the pictures I provided, and the TV company should cover the defects. After reaching out to the company, they said there is clear damage to the TVs LCD panel, which wouldn't show up when the TV is off. This would be caused by being moved incorrectly. They said they will not be helping with the TV. I sent the note I received to them over to Kevin, and he said "We will not be covering replacement of the TV. Not only was there no indication of physical damage at delivery, the TV was also off and had been wrapped with your covering upon the crews arrival. Our crew is very familiar with the proper techniques to move all items inside our customer homes, and we have decades of experience in doing so." If they have decades of experience, one of the procedures upon arriving with an electronic, such as a TV, should be to turn it on to check for damage, as not all damage can physically be seen. And my TV had a light TV cover on it provided by UHaul, that is hardly any sort of protection, and it was lightly thrown over it. This company clearly would rather protect their image and selves, than by working with the customer to come up with a solution to something they caused. They will be hearing from my attorney.
