However, it turned out that really wasn't the source of the problem: when I was monkeying with the fuses in my old-fashioned fuse box after the incident, I removed one where the socket was defective. I couldn't put the fuse back in properly and thus the power loss. Carlos discovered the problem in my fuse box, crafted a solution to it, and reconnected my smoke detector. He was friendly, polite, and quick, but he took the time to explain to me what the problem was and made sure I understood how to replace the battery in my smoke detector and reattach it to the ceiling. To top it off the price was very reasonable. I will be calling Caval the next time I need an electrician.

On installation day, Boz arrived on time with three workers, gave them a clear game plan, and specifically instructed them to minimize wall damage to save me from extra painting.
