So we came here after a few of our coworkers hyped it up. I can now respectively say the hype was in fact genuine. It was super clean tasty and the service was very helpful and sat us essentially right away. You come in and from the start get two bowls. There is a method to be had but I'll let you try it for yourself. I do recommend the jalepeno be added it gives it a great kick

We arrived around 6:30 and there wasn't a lot of people in general. I'm not sure how busy it can get, but it was nice and quiet when we were there. The veggie selection isn't as plentiful compared to other Mongolian bbq I've been to in the past but I really only get broccoli in mine so nbd. I'm very happy with the sauce selection, garlic and oyster sauce all the way. Topped it with some sesame oil after it was cooked. I like how you can get 2 bowls in one trip, that way I can have more noodles and not have to play the balance game in one bowl. There's ice cream available, which I didn't have given how stuffed I was from eating all day. There's a drink fridge which you can grab your own drink. You pay for your meal when you walk out.

This was my first time trying this place out! I was pleasantly surprised by the awesome food! You don't find these joints as much as there used to be, but if you like Mongolian BBQ you have to check this place out! You get two trips to the food bar and they cook the food in front of you. They have a variety of meats: chicken, beef, pork and lamb! They have lots of veggies for you to use and I love that they had pineapples! They had all the sauces and oils you need to make your food delicious! I highly recommend you check this place out if you are in the Menlo Park area. They also had vanilla soft serve that tastes just like McDonald's! Mind blown! This gem is located in a plaza next to BevMo, Big 5 and Staples! It looks to be family owned. Show them some love! I will definitely be back!

Came here for the first time. The staff was friendly and attentive. I came with a group of 6 and had no issues getting seated quickly. The food was good but a little pricey. I still recommend giving it a try.

If you love Su's Mongolian near Santa Clara University, you'll love MP Mongolian. When I found this place, I was curious to see how it compared. Little did I know, they're practically the same place! When I asked the owner, she said her sister owns Su's Mongolian! Therefore, their food taste and quality is exactly the same. This place however seems newer and slightly more modern. The lines are not too bad at all! There is also plenty of seating! The exterior looks like it would be part of an industrial business area, and it has a lot of parking! Service was good and I had my water refilled right away. There is also an all you can eat self serve soft serve machine with really milky tasting soft serve. When making my bowl, I always go with the 1st timer recipe for sauce. It's the flavor I prefer, however you can tailor it to your preference. My partner always makes a bowl with just the pineapple juice to make his bowl sweeter and more bulgogi tasting. This place is my jam!

I've never been charged for taking leftovers home. Flabbergasted.

Beware: they charge you if you want to take leftovers home. Definitely not coming back here again. Came here on a whim on the way home from the airport, should've just gone straight home. Buffet options are very limited. Ingredients are either unwashed (skip the mushrooms, they had dirt still on them) or not washed well. The sauce options used for both before and after cooking are all bland and tasted stale. Service was disappointing. The cook and servers all stared us down while we were grabbing our food. Felt like they were watching us to see how much food we put into our bowls (because god forbid paying customers take the amount of food they want... at a buffet). Cherry on top? The extra charge for the to-go box. It's not even the amount, it's the principle of the matter. For the first time in my life, I'm being charged for a to-go box to take home LEFTOVERS. The lady (same one who rang us up) seemed to not understand that yes, people take leftovers home. When I asked for a box, she was very confused. We had over half of the bowl left too. I even pointed to the bowl to show her and she still didn't seem to understand. Do they eat their customers' leftovers, is that why she was confused? I genuinely do not understand her reaction to such a standard request at a restaurant. The place was decently clean. Nothing to write home about. Editing to add: they also calculate tip based on the total, not subtotal on their POS system. Be sure to double check the tip so you're not paying tip on the sales tax. So frustrating when restaurants do this. Such a shady and dishonest way to do business.

Make your own Mongolian BBQ bowl

make your own Mongolian bbq noodle bowl. You get 4 bowls, 2 trips for 25$ which is a pretty good deal, but it's only for dine in. Free ice cream and rice whenever you please and there's no time limit for you to finish your food. You can only take the first round of food togo and the second round if you stay to eat you can't take it togo. Weird concept, but makes sense to encourage customers to dine in. There's free refills on only fountain drinks, but make sure to ask for the fountain coke instead of just saying coke because last time they gave us a canned coke and we had no idea they had fountain drinks with free refills. The staff's friendly, but can barely speak english, they have a young boy working the cashier who is kind and helps to translate. Overall bee here a couple times, food is good if you're looking for a place to eat with a big serving and ambiance is okay, spacious, but a little loud. 8.5/10

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. The options of proteins, veggies, and sauces were amazing and fit various food preferences. The food was made in such a fast manner and tasted amazing. The service was fast and nice. And you get vanilla soft serve ice cream included with the meal! Overall, highly recommend trying this place, they definitely just earned a lifetime customer!

Plaza parking is available Come hungry! Haha I'd consider this a bang for your buck given the Menlo Park/Palo Alto area Mongolian BBQ is one of my favorite dishes and it's always my go-to if it's available in shopping malls so I'm happy to see there's a restaurant dedicated specifically to it Once you walk in, you're greeted by the owner (I believe) and to the right is when you begin the process! 2 rounds total ($23.xx dinner price and additional $11 I believe per round afterwards) 4 bowls max, essentially - one to hold all your veggies - one to hold all your noodles and proteins I love the variety they offer for proteins such as lamb and tofu Me and bb were left feeling stuffed by the end of the night Would recommend if you're wanting a cheap eats in the area and will be back to bring my brother too hehe

Or really any quality takeout of any kind. $90 order, ranging from dumplings to basic entrees to rice. Everything was off - slopped together, underseasoned, lazy vegetable chopping (and questionable) choices of vegetable ingredients. No Wok fire/heat evident in any of the entree's and everything was a gluey, flavorless mess. The noodles for the Lo Mein seemed honestly just spaghetti. The orange chicken was dry/old, almost no breading, and honestly didn't taste orangey at all. The kung pao looked like what my 7 year old could have made (when we was seven). More like boiled chicken topped with raw Safeway vegetables, whole peanuts, and a soupy cornstarch soy sauce afterthought. The kicker was they do not have any house made sauces, so if you want good mustard or something edible for dipping - welcome to shitty packet hell as they refused to provide those (if they existed). I'm curious what they do when you're in-house but if I''m paying for the same food I'm not sure why I wouldn't get something besides high-fructose corn syrup garbage stamped out in a factory two years ago. This reflects lack of care to the product and customer experience. Highly unfortunate for an establishment that used to be "decent" as I said.

Service was really good (better than average Cantonese restaurant lol). The place was not busy probably due to a weekday. We ordered the usuals for Cantonese, and were generally happy about the food quality. Based on the speed the food was served, it was probably not made fresh, but we were satisfied with the texture, flavor, and temperature, at this price point. Parking: there's some street parking, but it can be rough. There is a parking lot nearby. During peak times or weekends, it can be hard to find parking. Pricing: Pricing is average/very reasonable for the area, but may seem slightly higher if you're used to dim sum in other areas (but hey, rent must be expensive). Food: Food is typical dim sum food. It's good and traditional rather than the super fresh or high-end dim sum places-more of a "get your dim sum fix place. It's not the healthiest and some dishes can be a bit bland; you might get tired of some of the more filling dishes. Atmosphere: The restaurant is nice and clean, but nothing fancy. It is a no frill place, but well-kept and not cluttered like some other places.

Reservation was easy to make over the phone and you have to preorder duck ahead of time. We also got pan fried buns, bok choy, and mandarin fish. Dishes are expensive but good quality. I read mixed reviews about the duck but I thought it was great - crispy skin and relatively tender/juicy meat. It is the first time I've seen an extra charge for the duck pancake wrappers; it was not a pleasant surprise but at least they were thin and delicious. We opted to have a soup made from the leftover duck and that was delicious. Service was also pretty good; they even packaged the leftovers for us. Unfortunately, it just wasn't as good overall as the Belmont spot. The space itself is older, and the seating feels pretty tight and not as comfortable. As for the food, we ordered the Peking duck, which came with a lot of meat, but the duck itself didn't taste fresh at all. It had that distinct, stale "old meat" taste to it, and the texture was completely off and mushy rather than having a nice, fresh bite. The xiao long bao missed the mark too--the wrappers were too thick and the filling wasn't nearly as savory or delicious as what we're used to. Even the basic steamed rice tasted like a cheaper, lower-quality grain. For the other dishes, the stir-fried scallion lamb was way too salty, even though we specifically asked them to go light on the salt, and it lacked that deep umami flavor they get so right at the other location. On the bright side, the Treasure's signature beef honeycomb tripe was actually really good, though the spice level is definitely on the higher side so beware if you're sensitive to heat. For dessert, I finished with the sesame glutinous rice balls in sweet rice wine because it's one of my absolute favorites, but it fell short since there was barely any wine or osmanthus flavor. The service was also pretty lacking throughout the night. They didn't even bother to clear our dirty dinner plates off the tight table after we ordered our dessert, so everything was incredibly cramped. They also completely ignored the rest of our Peking duck instead of proactively asking what we wanted to do with the carcass bones and the remaining meat. We had to specifically flag them down ourselves to ask about it and explain what we wanted done with it, which should really be standard practice for a proper duck service. Compared to the sister restaurant, the execution, environment, and service here just aren't quite there yet.
