MP Mongolian BBQ is well priced for quality Mongolian food. We heard about this location from their…read morefirst location (Su's Mongolian BBQ) and wanted to try this location out! There's plenty of parking and the restaurant itself has plenty of seating. Upon entering, staff was welcoming and friendly. They offered to explain the instructions on how to build the bowls for barbecuing. A table will be assigned ahead of time and set with water mugs and utensils. There is a large variety of ingredients to build your mongolian bbq bowl such as baby corn, mushrooms, onions, and more. In case of indecision, there are posted instructions for a sauce recipe in the sauce area. All items chosen end up on the grill at the end and returned back to you in a singular large bowl. If desired, there are extra seasoning add ons at the end. Free soft serve is included with the meal. Always great to have dessert at the end! I'll definitely be back. Lots of love to this location!

I came in on a Friday night to get some Mongolian BBQ. It had been awhile since I'd been here and…read morethere had been a few changes. I love Mongolian BBQ and this place is consistently good. The prices have gotten higher, and they limit you to two times at the buffet, so you need to make sure you fill each bowl as much as you can! Two full bowls of food is plenty for me though. First, you need two bowls when you go up to the buffet. They get full fast, so fill one up with noodles and meat and then the other bowl with vegetables! Two full bowls of raw and cold foods will shrink down to just one bowl of food when cooked. They also give you rice and soft serve ice cream for dessert. They used to have spring rolls and a few other sides available, but it seems they've done away with that. The price of this is $25.99 on weekends, and slightly less expensive on weeknights. It was definitely pricier than our last visit, but that's to be expected. I did two separate sauce recipes. I tried the curry and I did their House Mongolian BBQ sauce. Once you give the cooks your bowls then they quickly cook it all on their enormous grill surface. Being able to design your dish is part of the fun with Mongolian BBQ. I wish there were more Mongolian BBQ places in the Bay Area like this!

We came about 10 minutes ahead of our reservation time and got seated right away. Shortly after being seated, we were given water and a server explained to us how the dinner works, which is all you can eat with a salad bar included. The salad bar had everything you usually see at brazilian steak, but they also had sushi! It didn't look like the greatest quality so I didn't grab any, but I did enjoy the seaweed salad they had. Once we flipped our card to green, the meats came flying at us, it was almost overwhelming but I appreciated that we didn't have to wait. My favorites were definitely the picanha and top sirloin, but the grilled pineapple was also excellent! They were coated with brown sugar, and were a great pairing with all the meat. They came around with the pao de queijo, fried banana and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were nothing to write home about, but the pao de queijo and fried banana were excellent! The bread was extremely warm, and the fried banana was shockingly really delicious! The service here was really great! Our plate was always filled, and as someone who has a lot of water with my meals, my glass was never empty which I really appreciated. I needed my mandatory sweet treat, so my boyfriend and I shared the tres leches and goodness it was amazing!!! It was perfectly sweet, and came with a pool of extra milk so you're able to soak each bite. This is a great date night spot, and we will definitely be back in the future!

If you're in Mountain View and can't decide between hot pot or KBBQ, this place is a lifesaver. The…read moresetup is actually pretty cool because you get your own individual hot pot so you don't have to share broth, but there's still a shared grill in the middle for the BBQ. The all-you-can-eat is the move here. The meat quality is solid--the wagyu beef and spicy pork belly usually hit the spot on the grill. On the hot pot side, the pork bone broth is a safe bet, and the spicy broth actually has a decent kick to it. Also, they have those little fried buns with condensed milk that are dangerously good. They give ice cream at the end with a cone which is sweet dessert. The vibe is super lively and loud, definitely not a quiet dinner spot. They even have those robots rolling around bringing out plates, which is kind of funny to watch. Service is quick; you just order everything on your phone and it shows up fast. Just remember the 90 minute limit. It's clean, modern, and you'll definitely leave feeling like you need a nap. Great spot to hit with a group if you're looking to get a lot of food without breaking the bank.

I assumed they are newly opened but now im unsure since there are reviews way back from 2019. But…read morethis is as my first time coming here and im wondering if I would come back - Staff is super friendly and attentive - Broths are very bland. I understand that it might be intentional so it can be customizable from the big variety of sauces at the sauce bar. But I would say its very lacking. No salt, no depth. Almost like flavored water. - Portions are okay. It's AYCE so it makes sense that their portions are smaller. but it is much smaller than places ive been to. Please be mindful when you decide which meat to be on the grill as majority of them is to be for hotpot. so it will dissolve on the grill the moment you realize it. - Meat quality is fine for AYCE. However there are some thats a bit questioning. The spicy beef is just the thinniest slices that are marinaded in the chili oil. But after cooking the texture and even flavor is very very off. I highly recommend getting the Finger Cubes BBQ (i think), nice blend of fat and meat and def the most flavorful. - ORDERING SYSTEM is a nightmare. Since the portions are so small, you would have to order multiple rounds and there is a time block apparently so you dont over order. But the system is so slow and not intuitive at all. At first i thought they are just opened and would give it some time to improve. But now i dont see myself coming back at all.
