Ordered the Sunshine Poachie, which was delicious, albeit a little messy; it would have been helpful to have a steak knife to cut through it, as half ended up on my lap. Long black was also great: rich, hot and flavorful. No milk needed! I'd love to return on a weekday and feel more comfortable lingering a bit longer. On this visit, I ate quickly and gave up my seat to someone in the long line of those waiting to be seated.

We snagged a seat outside on the warm winters day which was also a bonus - basically every seat in the place was nearly full. The menu is small for lunch, selection of salads, sandwiches etc and sourcing local ingredients. I was tossing up between a salad and the soup and by recommendation of the friendly girl behind the counter I chose the roast carrot and freekah salad. The food arrived fairly quickly, one ordered the hearty vegetable soup and another the roast pumpkin stack. I was really disappointed in my salad - it had no dressing or any flavours whatsoever. The freekah was bland, the salad greens were bitter and the carrot was just covered in fennel seeds. I added a tonne of salt and pepper but it didn't do much. My friend with the soup also had to add a large amount of salt to try and bring some flavour out. Apparently the pumpkin stack was good - the goats cheese look good on that. Overall I think it's not bad for breakfast but lunch might be a miss. Plenty more amazing spots closer to the market that might be more worth a visit

The café is not that big, so be sure to take that into consideration depending on the time of the day. All of the tables are lined with butchers paper and crayons are on offer for the kids to draw, while parents enjoy some well earned recharge time. I love that the café collects fun drawings and pops them up on the wall to display! I can imagine that children would love to see their pieces of art on the wall when they return. If you need coffee, you will fine strong and flavoursome beans here. Just what I love! I like a well rounded coffee that picks me up with a kick of caffeine. That is why I always order a strong flat white. And that is exactly what I received. Perfect! After a long morning, coffee always goes well with a treat. Oh yeah, bring on the Dutch Style Brownie. A little drier than most brownies; But I think that is the style. Nice chocolate flavour and really hit the spot. I am told that the brekkie and lunch here are also really good. So I endeavour to return to try that as well. Last thing to point out, the staff are really lovely. Be sure to know that you and your guests will be well looked after.

Masses of parking around the back, but slow down coming up Magill Road or you'll miss it. Keep an eye out for their big yellow sign and a couple of yellow chairs out the front.

The avo was so light and fluffy and tangy, absolutely amazing on its own, but then to pair it with the feta, pickled rhubarb and the beautiful artisan toast - I ate every last crumb and wished there were more.
