It was late on a Friday night when we decided to come in for drinks and appetizers. From the outside of the hotel it looked really beautiful and modern. We came in and noticed a lot of people in the dining area so we took a seat at the bar to have some cozy time together. The bartenders were friendly and busy. That was no problem for us at all. We ordered a plate of two kibbeh with a little hummus on the side. When it arrived within 10 minutes I was delighted to see how creamy the hummus was. The kibbeh plate had a slice of lemon on it. I really appreciate that because I like to have it mixed in with my hummus. Very good kibbeh and hummus! The music was really fun, a little loud and that made it even better. Give this restaurant/bar a chance and I'm sure you will really love it. By the way, the service was great. Servers were friendly, too.

    Mozaik, come here...

We came here late on Friday for a quick snack and a drink. The restaurant was conveniently located in the middle of town. The host and the atmosphere were welcoming and pleasant. Our bartender was attentive and fast. The snack that we tried (kibeh) was decent. I tried a local beer that was good and refreshing. You can tell that the decor was tasteful and well thought out.

Bread, oil + honey, Turkish za'atar. Dip in that order.

This restaurant was amazing and I still keep thinking about it just about every week. We ate pretty much everywhere around the city including the Chinese and the Indian and many kebab places but this was really the one to visit. Their beef manti is unforgettable and I doubt I'll find a better one. The lamb is absolutely delicious. Their bread is top tier. I miss this place a lot. Bonus: they play 1960s/ 1970s Vietnam war/ hippie music as an ode to the hippie movement that came through the area. 11/10 I would probably travel here again just to eat the manti one more time.

Loved the wine tasting! They even offered it at night which was great because we wanted to try multiple wines and not just order an entire bottle. The Emir wine is amazing. The servers were very knowledgeable about each wine too and the pours were massive!

Excellent dinner and great wine selection! We visited Mozaik twice while in town. First was just to sit down and have some wine. They have a more extensive wine selection than other restaurants in Nevşehir, many of which are Turkish wines of good quality and inexpensive prices. Since we enjoyed having drinks here we decided to come back for a proper dinner. The food was excellent! Great mezze to start with, and delicious Turkish and European cuisine. The entire table was quite satisfied.

In a town of pleasant but more or less forgettable tourist restaurants I found a true gem. As of this review, it has only been open a month but I found nothing to complain about. Typically, I go to a new place every meal. This time however, I have visited each of the three days I stayed here The place specializes in Turkish Cuisine and local wines. The owner is a true local who spent 7 years in Canada. He has combined his love and pride of his home cuisine with some lessons he learned abriendo. This is. It the typical kofte, kebap or pide you find every place else. It is broader mix of Turkish dishes with the occasional innovation from his time abroad. Also, the menu contains an extensive list of hot and cold starters which makes it possible as a solo diner to try many things, or to fill a table for all to share tapas style. There are also vegetarian options The local wines are actually a delight with whites, rose and red s to suit most palates from sweet, to medium and dry. These are wines that do not travel and are a delight to try.

Centrally located in Goreme around a lot of popular hotels. Warm, rustic, homey interior. Seating area consists of large tables and you sit on the floor over cushions. Shoes off before stepping into the seating area. Menu si known for homestyle cooking and an iconic dish is their pottery kebab. Meat is slow cooked in a sealed pot for 3 hours. The pot is then brought to the table, cracked open, and the contents poured onto a plate in front of you. Very aromatic, flavorful, and tender. They also make their own wine in house, which is a must try. Red wines are served cooler, though not cold. I also recommend the little little on the middle menu item as it consists of a lot of small shareables, similar to mezze, that you can enjoy along with your meal. Staff is very friendly. They even gave us a tour of the wine cellar which was really neat.

I was also happy to see Sedef was listed on Yelp with good reviews. The restaurant was clean, organized, and well-decorated. It is located on the main street leading to all of the cave hotels. We ordered the chicken kabobs, meatball kabobs, mushrooms covered in cheese, and of course I needed some fries. All of the items were fantastic. Not all kabobs are created equally; and these were some of the best we had in Turkey. Regarding the service, it was very good. Friendly, polite, and friendly staff members thought the restaurant. I highly recommend Sedaf!

And rhe bread dough on top is the cutest -- it's there to allow steam to escape -- but not too much moisture! Sedef presented the kebab exactly as I've pictured -- it came to the table oon fire ... then they tapped the pots until they became separated ... and the meat and sauce bubbled out like a volcano! Then they served it with a rice-noodle combo. DELICIOUS! Very friendly staff, and attentive. We loved our meal here!
