Management consistently demonstrated unprofessional behavior toward both customers and staff. Specifically, a manager named German Pardo who routinely assigned me tasks he knew I was untrained for. Furthermore, he allowed other employees to throw tantrums, act childishly, and aggressively throw boxes full of items just because I was too slow for their liking. Another manager, whose name I do not recall, failed to train me properly, screamed obscenities in my face over an error caused by their lack of instruction, and refused to apologize even when directed to do so. Beyond the toxic work environment, the store suffers from severe operational issues. The sales floor is disorganized because staff members place items randomly on shelves to avoid backstocking, and the grocery department frequently stocks expired and rotten food. I strongly advise customers to take their business elsewhere.

But then, some days, a stroll around the store can be just what you need to brighten your day. Walking around Target, feeling the texture of the pajama pants, comparing lipstick shades - things you just can't do from an iPad on the couch. Of course I ended up with things in my cart that I didn't go in for but I also didn't come home with what I wanted - the skim milk was set to expire the next day and the only available size of the laundry pods that I wanted would last me a year. Target is not much different than a number of stores today - finding help was nearly impossible. I used self checkout which I'm sure got me out a whole lot faster than waiting in the only open check out lane. I'm not about to give up online shopping anytime soon but spending an hour strolling around Target was a nice distraction.

I get a phone call from a Hispanic guy telling me they cant change the oil on my BMW because the hvac is down. I'm confused because they've changed my oil plenty of times before with no issue. Mind you, I have a VW Passat. I get back there and it's about 6 technicians just sitting around, doing nothing. I think, they just didn't want to do it. There's no need for a hvac to be used on my car. I watched them do a change before. I even googled it. I'm so disappointed in them.

I don't expect a whole lot from Walmart so I'm usually not dissatisfied. Sometimes I'm even pleasantly surprised. Today I was surprised, no, more accurately, shocked. Appalled. Disgusted. After a lot of tea at lunch, my first stop was the restroom. I didn't have a minute to spare. I walked (really, jogged) into a horrifying scene. I have never seen anything so filthy. I cannot believe a person could or even would make such a mess. I won't go into details, just use your imagination and multiple by 6 I noticed a sign that said "if you're not happy with our restroom, we aren't happy either". I went directly to the service desk. As soon as I said bathroom, the employee interrupted me and said that maintenance wouldn't be in until 4. Four o'clock? It was only 2:30. My report most definitely wasn't the first. How does such a large store function with such curtailed maintenance? They should have at least closed the restroom - it was a biohazard? I don't hold Walmart very high on the ladder. This time the ladder broke. And as far as the mess, the person who left this obviously did it on purpose. Shame on you.

Statistics say in 2022 there are 170.08 million female women with 41.1% being considered obese in 2021. The plus size clothing is almost half of what Americans are looking for and there are a lot of articles on that subject matter. Yes I know we should lose weight, however I went in this store to try and find some nice workout clothes since Ross is a reasonably adorable place to shop and the plus size athletic wear was almost obsolete, in fact it's so small it's mixed in with the Plus size clothing. Smaller sizes has its own workout clothing area and it's nice everyday clothing section. Not right at all!

For clothing, you may not be able to get the current year's latest and greatest styles, but everything is new and at a substantial discount. Their selection of women's shoes is smaller than say, TJ Maxx, as is their purse selection. I typically don't find much in terms of clothing here, and their selection is, again, smaller than TJ Maxx. Still a go to store for pillows, throws, socks, wrapping paper, gift bags and the like. If you haven't tried a Ross store, do it - you'll save enough money to not feel guilty splurging on a nice dinner out!
