Statistics say in 2022 there are 170.08 million female women with 41.1% being considered obese in 2021. The plus size clothing is almost half of what Americans are looking for and there are a lot of articles on that subject matter. Yes I know we should lose weight, however I went in this store to try and find some nice workout clothes since Ross is a reasonably adorable place to shop and the plus size athletic wear was almost obsolete, in fact it's so small it's mixed in with the Plus size clothing. Smaller sizes has its own workout clothing area and it's nice everyday clothing section. Not right at all!

I like making a Ross run because it's a bargain hunter's paradise and for a variety items from pet…read morebeds, to eyeshadow, to Christmas décor and nearly everything in between! I especially like to pop in for Church items for such worthy organizations as First Stop, that provides needed items for the homeless (boxer shorts, socks, scarves, winter gloves, etc.) And for the Angel tree/Senior tree gifts at Christmas time! For clothing, you may not be able to get the current year's latest and greatest styles, but everything is new and at a substantial discount. Their selection of women's shoes is smaller than say, TJ Maxx, as is their purse selection. I typically don't find much in terms of clothing here, and their selection is, again, smaller than TJ Maxx. Still a go to store for pillows, throws, socks, wrapping paper, gift bags and the like. If you haven't tried a Ross store, do it - you'll save enough money to not feel guilty splurging on a nice dinner out!

Everyone has an attitude and it's impossible to get anybody to wait on you. they were tidying things up and talking amongst themselves as I stood there for about four or five minutes nobody acknowledged me nobody said I'll be right with you. Nobody said can I help you when I tell you they looked me in my face and then chose to ignore me that is exactly what happened and I hope you can see it on the video tapes. Where are they had to call me back because I had walked away intent on finding a manager. I wish that people could find jobs. They enjoyed doing instead of being resentful, hateful, and passive aggressive. I am so sorry that doing your job triggers you so much. Maybe customer service is not the line of work you should be in. I will never ever be back to Belk at the bridge Street, ever guaranteed! Absolutely disgraceful customer service I used to work for a Belk I am absolutely disgusted, completely utterly appalled at the apathy. Grocery delivery has probably been one of the biggest game changers for me - why go to the store…read morewhen I can have milk in my fridge in 2 hours? All without having to put on shoes. But then, some days, a stroll around the store can be just what you need to brighten your day. Walking around Target, feeling the texture of the pajama pants, comparing lipstick shades - things you just can't do from an iPad on the couch. Of course I ended up with things in my cart that I didn't go in for but I also didn't come home with what I wanted - the skim milk was set to expire the next day and the only available size of the laundry pods that I wanted would last me a year. Target is not much different than a number of stores today - finding help was nearly impossible. I used self checkout which I'm sure got me out a whole lot faster than waiting in the only open check out lane. I'm not about to give up online shopping anytime soon but spending an hour strolling around Target was a nice distraction.

However, when I saw Stein Mart I was very excited and hopeful that I would be able to find a nice black maxi sweater. I did not want anything casual and if it had a little bling that would be perfect. If you are accustomed to shopping in the Atlanta area stores, you will probably be disappointed by this store which is much smaller and therefore very limited in content. Although they had a couple of cute pieces, I was disappointed overall. I was really surprised by the cheap acrylic sweaters that they are featuring for fall. I will never accept style over quality because I don't like pieces that look cheap and I prefer natural fibers when it comes to sweaters because they just look more polished and will last longer. While I love Stein Mart, this one just does not measure up and so my search continues.

I came in today and waited over 30 minutes to pick up my one item I ordered online for customer…read morepickup because they only had one person working the whole front end. Poor lady was working the only register handling all the checkout, returns, and pickups. Apparently all the cashiers called out. It's not her fault but whoever the manager/leaders of that store should have stepped up and gotten her the help she needed and to make sure their customers were being taken care of.
