The seats inside are only in one corner though so being able to see the game the whole time can be hard, keep that in mind. They don't sell any alcohol which isn't the end of the world but would make it better if they did. The people who work there are nice and keep it reasonably clean.

Axe throwing was always something that my wife and I wanted to do, so we finally got to do it on a…read moredate night a few months back. One important thing to note is that you have to schedule your throwing time beforehand on their website. At the time, they supposedly did not accept walk-ins, but I do not know if that has or will change. Also, closed-toe shoes are required, so leave the sandals at home! The building itself is pretty basic and not a lot of decorating flare (which is fine, because I am here to throw axes). When you arrive, you have to sign the waiver, you have an opportunity to buy food, drink,etc and then you wait for your time to come. Once it is your scheduled time, you are taken back to your lane, giving a demo and overview of the various games and operating rules. After that, you are on your own but our guide was nearby most of the night if we had questions. He was able to answer questions and take food/drink orders. For the menu, they had popcorn and other small snack menu and a selection of canned beers, seltzers, and ciders. Prices were reasonable for the items my wife and I purchased. For the axe-throwing itself, you can reserve by the hour or lane. One hour is $20 per person or $35 for two hours (6 people per lane, includes training prior to starting). You can also rent two lanes for an hour for $200 (up to 12 people) or two hours for $350. There are a variety of games, including a traditional target, a Connect 4 style game, 21, a matching game, and more! Players are given clever names such as "Pain in the Axe" and "Axe Hole". You can also choose to use an axe or throwing star for additional fun or challenge. It's actually a bit more tiring than it seems. The atmosphere was very welcoming and there were plenty of bathrooms and they were clean and had all supplies stocked. It supports the food banks and money raised from the rink goes to feed hungry mouths. Each ticket is $5 per person even if you bring your own skates. They do accept credit cards and you are encouraged to bring shelf stable items for donations that you put in this big blue bins. Kids under 5 are free. There is a very over priced "cafe" that I've never gotten anything at; a tiny glass of swiss miss cocoa is $2.00. A small hot dog is like $5.00 but I think it comes with chips(?) There are a couple big red tents set up where you can sit and hang out if skating isn't your thing and sometimes they have performances. The photos I uploaded were from one of them. Some of them I think are going to the Olympics they were really good! The cutest one was a who and the Grinch. So adorable!! The rink itself is okay, I wish it was bigger to be honest with you but you do with what you have. I also wish they'd smooth it out more often because after awhile it gets very liquidy and grooved. Makes skating kinda scary if you're like me and very uncoordinated. Be prepared to sign a waiver also, if you hurt yourself don't plan on suing ConAgra or anyone else at this place. If you bring a child you must sign a waiver for them and if you bring someone else's child THEIR parent or legal guardian must sign it and they bring it to the rink. You are not allowed to do it for them. You can download and print the waivers off the website. It was very hard to figure out what amenities were available in the cabin theough the web site, which made it kind of difficult to know what to bring with regards to cooking supplies and linens. I appreciated the cooking utensils, but I would have liked some form of skillet or griddle. We made do, but it was kind of oddfeying eggs in a pot. I was able to navigate the park without much trouble, but some of my family had a hard time finding the cabin, so maybe the signage could be more clear.

The bathrooms have seen better days but they're clean and they work. This location is easy access off of I-80 & 60th Street and provides ample parking.
