Beacon Hills really is my go-to place--it checks all my boxes: a great location in Aksarben…read moreVillage, easy parking, comfortable seating, a varied menu, consistent food quality, and excellent service. I love coming here with a friend before a movie, and when my sister offered to take me out for a birthday dinner, this was my first choice. I recently learned they've changed ownership and brought in a new chef. Their Facebook page has been featuring some really appealing specials, so I was excited to give it a try. That said, instead of trying something new, I went with one of my longtime favorites that's still on the menu. It used to be called "The Salad We Had at Gail's House," but now it's the Beacon Sirloin Salad--a leafy green salad topped with grilled sirloin, crumbled bleu cheese, red and green onions, walnuts, dried cranberries, and their homemade bleu cheese vinaigrette. We also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer along with some cheesy bread. The entire meal did not disappoint. Our server (I regret not catching his name) was especially outstanding this time. He highly recommended the Basque-style cheesecake for dessert, and we were even treated to it complimentary for my birthday. I usually go for anything chocolate, but I'm so glad I followed his recommendation--it was excellent. I just really enjoy the overall vibe at Beacon Hill. It's one of those places where I feel completely comfortable and at ease, never anxious, which makes the experience even better.

First time here. We went to farmers market and then brunch. My husband had the avacodo toast…read moresandwich and a bloody mary. I had the 222 breakfast and an espresso martini. Our waitress was fantastic. The pancakes were the best I have had in a long time. The scrambled eggs were really good too not dry at all. We would definitely come back for brunch or dinner.

Food was wonderful! I had 7 people in my party and not one person complained about their meal…read moretasting bad! The burrito on chef's special was the only meal that was relatively bland tasting. All the food came out promptly as for a party as big as mine, it was wonderful. The reservation was for 1:30 and we were handed Brunch Menus which we loved! After ordering appetizers and enjoying those- we began to order our meals and were told that brunch had ended but that the server had asked for an extension and was granted after what seemed to be a struggle for the server as she had to plea with the kitchen staff the way it came off to us. Our food was served and my mother's sandwich did not come out as advertised with ingredient missing. The server was notified and reported back that the kitchen already allowed us to order "past" the time of brunch and are not going to fix it but will comp it. At the time to pay the bill - the comp was $2.00 off. Seemed very unreasonable and should've been corrected properly. The food service was prompt and our food came out very quickly. The wait service seemed very busy for the restaurant being at a dead time of the day and only a few other customers eating in the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and tables were set on arrival. I would like to go back during the dinner hour to see how it compares. Overall- good food and clean restaurant. Only hiccup is not taking accountability properly for an easy food mistake and knowingly serving guests menus with time restrictions. Without those two inconveniences, it would've been a 5 star experience.

A great place to have a nice work lunch or brunch with a friend. I've gotten multiple things here…read moreand everything has been good! Service is always good and quick too! This location is definitely smaller than the downtown one so you might need a reservation if you're looking at a busy time!
