I went into the hospital recently and a friend set me up with a maid service so I wouldn't have to clean up behind myself. I requested the service professional arrive at 11 am. She arrived at my door three minutes early ready for instructions. Perfect! I asked her to clean my master bath and my living room floors, since it always seems like a daunting task to do the entire sweep and mop routine myself. I wasn't incredibly specific about the bathroom but I sat in the living room waiting for her to finish. It sounded like she was giving my bathroom an exfoliating treatment. I mean she was really scrubbing the bathroom. I have copper sinks in my bathroom, have I ever bought copper cleaner? No. But she clearly knew how to make my sinks look like a pretty penny instead of the brown mess that was there before. Organized all of the toiletries and did not mass sweep everything into a drawer. She vacuumed and mopped the bathroom and it did not have a harsh chemical smell afterwards. I left a $20 bill in the bathroom during the cleaning, not as a trick or anything but I leave it there so I don't spend the cash designated for the lawn. The $20 was not touched; it is nice to know the individuals who come to your home can be trusted to do a spectacular job and not lift your cash. My living room is fairly large and it was swept and mopped thoroughly. I'd request her again. I'm pregnant and would love this cleaning service to come back once a month for a regular cleaning! read more
