I have been with these folks for a few years now and in the last year or two it has gone down hill... my yard is either scalped in places or not cut at all (both sides of my yard where the dwelling begins). I whined and complained, even sending them pictures, etc. Said they would fix it, then turned around and did the same crappy job the next mow. Not even an offer to maybe do the next mow for 10.00 off or something. Having to look elsewhere. This disabled Veteran does not want to try cutting his own yard again. Our first cut of the season, they cut the grass and most of it ended up in the freshly mulched beds. They left chucks of grass all along the beds and failed to edge which is part of the service. I called them back and they sent a man to blow the grass from the mulch. So initially the grass was all in the mulch and when they came back to 'fix' their mess, mulch was blown all over the grass. Very disappointed in the service. Had them last year and started out great but as the season went on the mowers got lazy. read more

Mow Managers is the best! I broke my lawn mower by accident and called them on short notice. After seeing their work I'm never going back. Time is money and their prices are fantastic! I never have to worry about the HOA sending me letters and the staff is super accommodating when I want to change a preference on how I would like my lawn to be maintained. The first but if the season my flower beds and much areas were covered in grass clippings. No clean up - dried grass everywhere, walkway to house, sidewalk. Callees them back to clear all the grass from my flower beds and much and they ended up just blowing mulch all over my lawn! Very disappointing. Had lawn mowed twice month for about 8 months. They would mow the lawn in about 5 to 10 minutes. Missed several areas. Had to call the office a few times to send them back. They also left it longer than I wanted. My neighbors complained because they blew the grass onto their truck. The last time I caught the guy before he left and showed him several areas that were not cut. He had an angry attitude and got the edger and was aggressively swinging it back and forth to cut the spots I pointed out. My fence is all marked up from them edging close to fence area. This company has a rating of F with the Better Business Bureau and for good reason. They don't communicate with their customers of when they are coming, show up whenever, don't ring the doorbell to let you know they're there, and then if your dog happens to be in your backyard, they just don't mow. I have been a customer of Mow Managers for 7 years now. I have mowing service set up and they come on the same day every other week so I know when to expect them. My card gets conveniently charged a couple of days after the service so I don't have to worry about getting cash or being there to pay them. The customer service is always friendly. They also have bed & bushes service which I have used and was thoroughly happy with the results. Look, I'm just not a lawn & gardening person. I have had no complaints all these years with their services. The handful of times I've ran into the crew, they were polite and friendly. Mow Managers just stopped showing up. I called to see when they would be out next to start spring service and they said "oh, you no longer have a contract with us. We have cut back our crew and no longer service your area" It would have been great if someone let me know! This caused me extra expenses because the lawn was overgrown and had to pay another company extra due to the height of the grass. In the end it turned out well because I found a better lawn service company that not only cuts the grass but also takes care of the weeds and flowerbeds. I cannot recommend the bed and bush service. They charge by the hour and were there for two hours when they actually worked for about 30 minutes. The men stood around talking most of the time. I hired Mow Managers to mow my yard over the summer. When fall arrived, I called and paused my service until the new year. I was surprised to see that weeks later, they came and mowed my yard and charged my account. When I contacted them, they said they sent an email to all of their customers stating that the service would go to monthly at the end of November unless you opt out. I didn't feel the need to opt our since my service was already paused. They would not budge so I cancelled my service. They didn't offer any resolution. read more

Would not recommend them. Are in such a hurry to move on to the next customer that the job is half done. They broke our gate and refused to pay for it. Also hit a newly planted shrub with their weed eater taking half of it off. The customer service is lacking and always seems to blame the customer for the workers sloppiness. I scheduled a mowing and setup service for every 3 weeks. The lady on the phone was friendly and was also able to move up my first time date. I told her my grass was probably over a foot high because she asked. On the day of the cut I let them know i would be home. They came by and I get a call saying they could not do it because of the grass length. Granted theu charge extra for high length and I had no problem paying it but never said anything about not being able to do it previously. So I called them back and the woman informs me that they could not cut over a foot high. Astonishment. I informed her of the conversation I had with the person who set up my appt and her resolution was we can refer you to someone who can trim it down and then we can come out and mow. Very poor first experience, got a flier from them in the mail figured why not, They couldn't even do the standard things they offer in my tiny little yard, and then when called for the crew to return to complete the job, they never came back ( they came some where around noon, were called about the complaint within an hr. of the crew leaving, and never returned on the same day to fix a customer complaint?). Scheduled service... waited a little over a week... showed up about 30 mins before sunset... wouldn't mow yard as it had gotten too high while i waited for them to come they said... it was not a foot tall. I was absolutely smitten with them until they left my gate open on 08-09-17 and one of my pets went missing. 3 Days later I have my dog back. Thank God! I have changed my review only because they are the only reliable lawn service I have found and my baby is back home. I think this company uses laborers to do the lawns. The same 2 men do the lawn weekly. It amazing as they sprint through the process in 30 minutes or less. The results are always very good. read more

There is no way to reach customer service after 6PM. There is no voicemail. There is NO Email. How do you expect to provide good customer service without providing the customer service when you customers need it? Overall poor service I would not recommend. read more

If this is the same Mow Managers as the ones in Dallas, I am a newer customer and find it extremely odd that they do not have an after hours voice mail, nor do they have an email or contact form on their website. When some of your mowers are doing lawns well past your "closed at 6:00 p.m." time, it would be nice to be able to contact a representative past the 6:00 p.m. cut off time. This is the second time the mowers have been out. The first time, they mowed only the front yard around 6:30 p.m. and then started packing up their equipment without even ringing the bell to get access to the back yard. And then yesterday, the exact same thing happened: mowed only the front without attempting to access the back yard. They could have rung the bell to gain access, but they didn't. We were home the entire time. So frustrating. Get an email page on your website so that frustrated customers won't have to post less-then-stellar reviews on yelp. read more
