Pauline is a prima example of how movement can be healing! Can't say enough good things about her and her classes!

I love that in 1 hour, I get an amazing workout of both cardio and strength training. It's so efficient and it's all coach led so I don't have to think about what to do next. I really like how every workout is different (hard to get bored!) and each time I go, what I do for the cardio side compliments what I do in the strength portion of things. I know I've gotten considerably stronger, healthier and happier since I've been going to OTF again regularly. I am not a skinny-minny but I definitely feel much more confident in my body because of my workouts Plus, it's a fun community where I've made friends and found support in my health journey. They always do a free trial so always worth a try! Plus there's Orange Theory studios in most places so when I'm traveling, I've been able to pop into other locations fairly easily and know what's going on during the workouts.

The only feedback I have here is that, compared to the studios I used to visit in Florida, the studios here don't have some toiletries in the shower/washroom(for example, lotion, dry shampoo, etc). Also I have definitely experienced in some studios that the coaches encourage you constantly and they help you with your posture regularly. I don't see this in Washington state studios. I would recommend this studio!!

I just started going here consistently and I LOVE IT! I really don't enjoy cardio but I feel like…read morethese classes totally trick me into loving it, plus getting strength in alone the way. The class formats are really fun-lots of variety and each week builds on previous classes so you feel like you're learning and getting the hang of things after a week or two. Walking into the studio is also just FUN- so inclusive, fun music and lights, and super supportive instructors. My favorite classes are Bands with Elise and Dance with Chris! I feel like even after 2 weeks of consistency I already feel like my endurance is improving and I was able to advance to a more challenging resistance band in the Bands class. Looking forward to seeing results once I keep up the consistency!

I went to my first class a few weeks ago and this was the first fitness class that I thought about walking out before it ended. Don't get me wrong, the studio is awesome and has a nice vibe - the staff is super friendly as well. But this didn't feel like dancing...it was more like...how would I describe it... choreographed fitness steps for suburban housewives with no rhythm. Ah, there we go. Instructions were super fast and hard to follow, the music didn't match the vibe of the dance.... ie: attempting to dance hip hop style to a Jackson 5 song. (I use the term hip hop style loosely because I *think* that's what they were aiming for.) I'm glad I went though..I'd been wanting to try AKT for a while but learned it was not for me. I think this could be a great place for a specific demographic, though.

All the staff and instructors are incredibly warm and helpful and knowledgeable. They make an effort to get to know you and remember your name (and say it correctly!). The classes are really good and follow the classic Pure Barre formula. The facility is convenient in a bustling part of town and has great parking options, so it's easy to squeeze in a class while running errands. I'm really happy to have found this spot! Note, I've been using this via ClassPass and they're moving off the platform, so you'll need to buy classes or a membership directly and they are not transferable across other locations since Pure Barre a private franchise model.

Since their website address leads to a broken link I reached out on facebook messenger. I used one of Facebooks canned responses to ask 'Do you have any promotions?' and the response was 'Never. I find that kind of model disgusting'. Didn't know asking if they have a promos was such a negative question and I asked them to elaborate, but have not gotten a response. I had heard about Knotty Yoga through the aerial…read moregrapevine and decided to give it a chance when one of Meetup groups planned a meetup here. I took the intro class that was specially priced at $19. For an hour and a half, it was an incredible deal that I could not pass up...and it was more than worth it! There were about 18+ people in the class and we started with a warm up on the silks. Afterwards, we watched Mason and 2 other instructors demo on the rope, silks, and lyra respectively. We then learned a few things on the silks and did a quick stretch of the upper body. The verdict? The warmup is NOT a beginner warmup. There's lots of balancing of the upper body on the arms or forearms while the legs are held up by the silk apparatus. As the body is balancing, it is moving forwards, backwards, and twisting side to side. For me, the warmup was great and challenging, but I could see it being difficult for a beginner. Vivian was the instructor on the silks. I found her explanations and demonstrations thorough as I had previously learned one of the tricks at another studio but had not understood it fully until Vivian explained it another way. We were learning how to climb the silks and even though there was heavy emphasis on the use of the legs, I didn't hear any guidance about relieving any tightness in the forearms or the hands during the instruction. And in the cool down/stretching, there was no focus on these parts of the body at all. For the cool down, we paired up and all we did was twist the upper body while pulling on each others arms. Time was up but I wished that there would have been more time for more thorough stretching. Now I realize that there were a lot of people in the class and it was an intro class so I am probably calling out personal particulars, but I was really impressed with the overall vibe of the studio. I like their whole hybrid exercise modality idea. The instruction was awesome. The studio is a great space and I am especially looking forward to taking future classes in trapeze and lyra. Lastly, I find the pricing options a great value.
