The team had a positive attitude and greeted me with a handshake and a friendly smile first thing this morning. They all went above and beyond to make sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged, and they treated all of my home, furniture, and belongings with respect. Not to mention, I asked if they would drop of my mattress at my new place down the street from my storage unit (an added extra stop) and they said they would! I interviewed about 6 moving companies and right away from talking with Abner I felt comfortable. Other moving companies were very persistent, trying to sell me, and seemed dishonest. Abner was very responsive and straight forward but did not contact me again after initial quote until I decided to go with him. He garunteed pick up date and arrival date (and time and was 10 minutes early each time!) which was huge for us as our move had to be very scheduled and other companies quoted us a 2 week interval (or more!) of when our items would be delivered. His crew in Houston arrived and packed our entire apartment, included disassembling basic items. They were extremely professional and efficient. Every item even valuable and breakable items arrived in perfect condition. He met us in San Fransisco 5 days later and him and two others unloaded all our boxes and assembled any dissassembled items. Again very professional and efficient. Iron back movers turned what could have been a very stressful move into 0 stress. Abner was extremely hardworking, professional, and easy to work with as was every member of his team. We hope we can use him for any future moves even though we are no longer in Houston!

They were very responsive when we inquired (via text) and I liked that they charged per hour based on the number of movers you requested. We scheduled the moving date, signed a contract, and were ready to go! On moving day, the movers arrived promptly and they were so quick in moving everything! within two hours everything had been moved out of our townhome! It took them another hour and a half to move everything to the new place. Very impressed! They also wrapped certain pieces of furniture for us and disassembled as well as assembled others. Cost was reasonable as well. I would say they are more cost efficient compared to other movers we had inquired. Overall we had a good experience with iron/back movers and would use them again for our next move!

We did a video call so they can give an estimate, we never received an estimate. The movers came to pack move and unpack. They didn't know they were supposed to be packing/unpacking. I had to call and confirm instead of them. They left my front door wide open and never turned the gate back on so if I hadn't gone back for cleaning supplies my door would've been left open over night. When I told the only guy who spoke English he said "I wasn't the last one out" no apologies just a lazy answer. They never unpacked properly. I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. These are scammers. It's been a long time since I dealt with a business like this but this one beware.

However... it was up three floors. Elvin and Milton showed up, worked quickly and efficiently. Like Samson from the Bible, or something from the Lord of the Rings, these two chaps were carrying things I did not know was physically possible. They got to my apartment at 12:10. Marcus, Vann, and Kurtis show up, and my first thought was, "wait did I ask for a 3 man crew or 2?" because the 3 man crew was extra per hour. They told me, no you're down for a 2 man crew but you're getting all 3 of us today! Wow, how great is that, no extra charge! So, right away I informed the guys that I added an extra stop (to a storage unit), than originally planned. No issue. I let them know which items were for storage and which items were going to the new house. After we got that handled, THEN they started the clock when the first box got touched. So, you don't have to worry about this company trying to take advantage of that hourly rate. They start when the first box is touched and stop the clock when last box is dropped off. These guys did an amazing job and were very careful with the boxes that i had marked fragile, they communicated well with each other and that lead to getting the job done quicker (than I expected). At the storage unit, they put it together like a puzzle getting all my boxes and china cabinets, and etc in place. Once at the new house, they were on top of it, they got everything moved in and set up really quickly. Once the job was done, Marcus gave me the breakdown of the bill, no surprise fees, it was exactly what Kurt told me it would be. Thanks again to Big Heart Moving!

During my recent move, I decided to give them my repeat business. Huge mistake. You get what you pay for. They quoted $110 per hour plus $70 admin fee, minimum 2 hours. That was fine. However, when they showed up, they advised that they charge $15 per roll for shrink wrap. I was in agreement with using the shrink wrap and blankets but they advised they were not sure how many rolls they would use. Then it was changed to 3 rolls. I've used movers in the past and they have always included shrink wrap and blankets in their pricing. However, I've also seen how the shrink wrap is used and 3 rolls is grossly overestimated. I've included a picture of the shrink wrap roll for reference. After signing for them to start the job, a never ending agreement about the number of shrink wrap rolls they would use, and the clock already ticking, I agreed for them to move forward with the additional $45 scam. Instead, they went outside, spoke amongst themselves and someone on the phone and advised that they would not be completing the job and left. I called the primary phone number and spoke with the owner who advised me that I should have accepted the scam pricing from the beginning and then disconnected the phone call. Cancelling a job because you don't want to be called out for overcharging for shrink wrap that should be included in your job is ridiculous. Moving is stressful. To walk out on someone during a time like that is not someone that deserves your business. The bright side is that I had another moving company's card on my door. I contacted them and they were available in the late afternoon. They ended up coming a few hours earlier. The price included the shrink wrap and blankets. They completed a HUGE job in 2.5 hours. I paid more per hour and tipped the 3 movers well. The fact that Astros Moving Company attempted to ruin my day over $45 is ridiculous. They would have made much more than that in tips and repeat business. Edit as of 05/09/25. In response to the owner. I NEVER advised them that I did not have the money to pay the ridiculous $45 for three rolls that were clearly not going to be used. After agreeing to disagree, I actually advised them to move forward. They chose to walk away instead. Not only did I pay more than the $45 with the other moving company, I tipped them generously. In business, some things are about the principle, not the money.

Everytime they changed owners, the transition has been seamless for the tenants. I will say the price has consistently went up throughout the years, hence minus one star. That was one of my motivations to get do away with the unit and either sell or get rid of what I have in the unit. The cost of what u have paid over the years definitely is way over the worth of the property inside. The property is very clean and well secured. I wanted climate controlled and I have never been inside where I have felt it wasn't controlled. They have moving equipment on hand to help you move your items as well. Customer service, especially with Extra Space has been outstanding. I was able to put my notice in to leave online. I wasn't sure if gate codes have changed since the new ownership took over so I called and spoke to Natalie. She was very helpful and told me I have till the end of the month to move out even though my move out date was about a week earlier. That little bit of information put less stress on me. She text me with all the codes and also notified me that my unit was clean and good to go after. If I am ever in need of storage in the future, I will definitely reach back out to Extra Space Storage.

I had this center bookmarked fo a while, but had waited to make a trip. They have pretty good hours Monday - Saturday. All of my recyclables this time were easy lifts, so they have a drive-thru where you stop, and somebody comes and gets everything out of the car for you. Like a grocery pickup. They just do everything while you wait in your car. They also have the ability to take larger equipment. Some of those things you have to set an appointment for and certain items have to be paid for for them to take it. It's usually a very small fee just for disposal costs and things like that. Entirely worth it for whatever it is you're trying to do. Nothing here is expensive. Highly recommend if you're looking to offload some extra stuff that you're not using anymore without just chucking it in a trash can. They also have paper recycling and shredding services available. Check out their website and see if they'll take what you have.

They claim to be a "Full Service Recycling Center" they are not.

Cannot say enough great things about Moving Interiors. I posted a complaint on a local Facebook group about issues we had with a prior moving company moving out of our other home. Many people recommended Moving Interiors for the move into our new home from the 25x10 storage unit. We have a LOT of stuff. After hearing such great input we decided to go with them. We felt confident right upon booking that our furniture and belongings were in good hands. We were correct. They arrived on time with four men who worked quickly to unload our storage unit while we were at closing and it was ready to be put in the house when we arrived back. The owner of the company was present to make sure everything went smoothly and the men were meticulous with keeping all of our furniture and belongings safe. There was no damage to anything. They even put stuff down on our new carpet so that it did not get dirty. Our lower door frames were covered so there was no damage to them. Our mattresses were put in protestors so that they did not drag on the ground. They worked so much faster than the other company that we were unsatisfied with. Also, their truck is very big so there was no issue fitting all of our stuff. The prior company was not able to fit everything in one load. Do yourself a favor and go with Moving Interiors. You will not regret it. There are other companies out there that just don't care and will take their time and damage your stuff. Not them! Thanks again, guys! read more

I have used Moving Interiors three times now for moving my family. My only two regrets are not using them for the moves prior to that and for not posting a review after the first move. Darrell, the owner, is a genuine, honest, trustworthy man of his word. Darrell was on site for all three moves and shows pride in the ownership of his company. Although his crews require minimal supervision, Darrell is always there to nudge them if needed. Moving Interiors has top of the line equipment which means your possessions will reach their destination without delay and or peril. I've never seen so many precautions taken for someone else's property. This company defines the motto of "treat others as you would like to be treated". My most recent move involved moving into a new build home. Moving interiors put down blankets throughout the floors and put protective coverings on all carpeted areas. Nothing was damaged and everything arrived just as it was prior to arrival. The Moving Interiors crew work on an hourly schedule, but they move on your schedule. They don't take lunch when high noon arrives, only when the task is ready for it. These guys hustle and don't grimace with any request. Their prices are fair and more than worth it. I cannot recommend them enough. Folks like them are hard to come by. They make moving a breeze. read more

We were extremely pleased with the way Moving Interiors helped make a complicated move simple. Packing was planned to take two days and one day for the move from Houston to Dallas. A few weeks before our move, Darrell came to our home and evaluated what he would need to pack our household. Two days before moving day, Darrell and his team arrived to start packing everything. The men were very careful to wrap everything and we did not have a single incident of anything getting broken. They packed it as if it were their own! Day two went equally well. We had time at the end of the day to do a last minute cleanup and then spent the night with friends. Early the next day we hit the road and met the men at the first stop and unloaded everything at our destination. Then, Darrell and the crew were kind enough to deliver our family's piano to a second destination before they headed back to Houston. We could not have been more please with the way everything worked out. The men were polite, extremely helpful and were a pleasure to work with. It was very evident that they had worked together for a long time and knew their business. Darrell's price for his services was extremely fair. I can whole-heartedly recommend Moving Interiors. Darrell Higgins and his team came to our rescue during a very difficult time in our family. A family member had to be hospitalized for a long term just as the family was about to move to Dallas. They needed to empty their house and get it ready to go on the market. Moving Interiors was able to load their entire house and move the contents to a storage facility for us. The team was professional and very careful with their possessions. I watched them wrap an antique dining table with extra padding and then easily move it to the truck. That table weighs a gazillion pounds. I was so impressed. Later we used them again to move the household from storage to the new residence in Dallas. I was pleased to see the same team for this leg of the move. They did not use temporary workers for our move. I felt their rates were very competitive with other companies. Darrell sent me proof of insurance which I appreciated. I do not live in the Pearland area but I am going to contact them to help move some furniture for us. I cannot say enough about Moving Interiors. I contacted them early in the morning and within hours they came out to walk my space to give me a quote. The price was a little more than other companies that quoted me, but I had a great feeling about this company and I could not be happier with my decision to use their services. On moving day, they arrived right on time. I was immediately impressed with how clean the trucks were and how friendly the entire team was. They all seemed genuinely happy to be there! The team was super professional and accommodating and went out of their way to make sure my furniture and the floors were perfectly taken care of. I hired Moving Interiors in March of 2020. They did absolutely FANTASTIC job!!! The owner, Darrell, was on-site, and his employees are very hard-working. My move was not an easy one, but they were diligent and very professional. They were swift, careful, and made sure everything was assembled where we wanted the furniture. They were very flexible with the scheduling. They were extremely careful with all my belongings. They were able to disassemble and properly re-assemble Ikea furniture (pieces that are very complicated!) They communicated very well. They are priced competitively, and DEFINITELY worth every penny! Darrell and his team are excellent at what they do. Communications were smooth throughout the process of the move. I used Moving Interiors a year ago for myself and just had them move my mom. The move team are very courteous and respectful of your belongings. Absolute care was taken with each item. The furniture was placed just where we wanted it and even moved when we changed the layout. My mom had used another local mover 5 years ago and she had a bad experience with that company, so we appreciate the work by the Moving Interiors team. This is an excellent moving company.It is privately owned and they do small and big jobs.They have moved furniture for me from one house to another,furniture to the upholstery shop, no job is too small.They will pack for you and put furniture together. Darrell and his crew are fantastic! They moved our furniture out of our home and into a storage unit and then 2 months later moved it out of the storage and into our new home 280 miles away. A large picture was destroyed and several boxes went missing from the move. The owner let me know…read morethey were left in a different city and country from where the rest of items were delivered. I was charged $67 more than what was agree on and multiple pieces of my companies electronics, part of my home office set-up, were also left in another city and country with no address. The fact that none of the employees spoke English only made this all more difficult. Topping it off when I tried to pay my bank warned me of excessive fraudulent activity on the "company" account when I tried to pay. I was asked to send the payment to the owner and list them as a friend on zelle. Do not get screwed by them! Do not trust this company. They will steal from you, lie about everything, then do absolutely nothing to make it right.

In the end, I was happy to go with Pinpoint Movers anyway because they are family owned. I opted for a 3 person team. They moved quickly and the gentlemen that came to move my things were so kind. I was impressed with how they communicated with me. They gave me a one hour timeframe of when to expect them but called me at the start of that timeframe to let me know how many minutes away they were which was helpful because I was able to run a quick errand since I knew when they were arriving. They moved fast and efficiently. Very impressive. It was hard work as I moved to a third story unit with no elevator. In the end I had a couple of small cosmetic nicks to an end table and a nick on my doorframe, but all in all, it was a successful move in my book. I felt the pricing was fair for the service I received. They required two hour minimum and had a service charge I felt was very fair. I would use them again.

Two movers arrived within the quoted window, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the rest of the experience did not meet expectations. The move took significantly longer than anticipated, especially compared to my previous moving experiences. As a result, the total cost ended up being nearly double what I had expected, which was very frustrating. To make matters worse, I discovered that several items were broken or damaged during the move. This was particularly upsetting given the care I took to properly wrap and protect my belongings ahead of time. Based on this experience, I can't say I would recommend this company.

They loaded my entire apartment in less than an hour and had the entire move completed in about two hours! They were extremely fast, professional, and careful with everything. They even provided blankets to protect my TVs, so I didn't end up needing the TV boxes I purchased and was able to save an extra $100. They also had mattress bags available, which I really appreciated because that's something you don't always see with moving companies.
