Outstanding Moving Experience - Highly Recommended!…read more After completing a complex two-state move, we can confidently say that Mr. Higgs and the entire Higgs Moving Team exceeded every expectation at a great price. This move involved emptying both our home and storage unit and transporting everything to our new storage unit out of state. From beginning to end, the professionalism displayed by Mr. Higgs, his wife and his crew was exceptional. The team arrived on time, communicated clearly throughout the process, and handled every item with great care and attention to detail. Their experience was evident in the way they organized, packed, loaded, and unloaded our belongings. What could have been a stressful and overwhelming move became a smooth and well-coordinated operation. The crew consisted of six hardworking movers utilizing two trucks, and their teamwork was remarkable. Everyone knew their role, worked efficiently together, and treated us with courtesy and respect throughout the entire move. One of the most impressive aspects was their efficiency. The move was estimated to take seven hours, yet this outstanding team completed the entire job in only five hours without sacrificing quality or care. When we arrived at our new storage unit, everything was neatly arranged with room to spare. Everything was well coordinated by phone and they arrived right on time. When they finished, it looked like they waved a magic wand! Their professionalism, punctuality, communication, work ethic, and positive attitude made all the difference. If you are looking for a moving company that is dependable, experienced, organized, and genuinely committed to customer satisfaction, I highly recommend Higgs Moving Service. Mr. Higgs and his crew delivered superb service from start to finish. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Higgs for making a major life transition so much easier and for a job exceptionally well done! Five stars without hesitation!

They came recommended from the company moving us, to come pack our house up. Initially, there was…read moregreat communication. They responded back the same day and set up a time to come look at the house and give us a quote. He came out on Thursday and said he would call us on Friday with a quote. Wife and I had agreed we were going to use them, just wait and hear back. Friday came and went with no call. I waited until Saturday and nothing. I emailed the guy that came out to our house. Nothing. I then emailed the owner. Nothing. On Sunday, our moving company called and I explained I had not heard back from packers. He said he would call them. A few hours later, the owner responded with an email asking if we ever heard from the worker that came to our house. The owner explained he was out of town with a sick family member. I responded back that I understood completely but would love to get the quote back and get busy since our move was happening in a couple of days. No response again, from anyone. So we decided at last minute to pack our house and get it ready in two days! Communication has been horrible. The owner seems like a good guy and I understand he has a sick family member. But this is more about his worker that came out and never responded back. It has now been 4 days and we move in 24 hours.

Original quote was no more than half a day (which I thought was a stretch). They charge by the hour. They arrived at the storage unit at 10:00am. SEVEN HOURS LATER I was presented the invoice that included the time to go get a flat fixed, the hour lunch time, AND the time they spent trying to get the trailer out of the front yard after getting stuck. One star is a stretch....but the two young men that loaded and unload were nice guys. AND they called when they were on their way and were on time. ONLY positives.

There were very few options to choose from and the first one or two I reached out to either didn't reply or was not available. Although there were no reviews here I figured I would give it a shot and test my luck. Not only was Kevin (owner) fast to reply but he made a point once we discussed the move to come out and get eyes on ever before even giving me a quote so it could be as accurate as possible. His pricing was fair and I booked right away. Come moving day his guys showed up and quickly, efficiently, and carefully got everything loaded up and in the truck ready to go. They were friendly and I could not have asked for more out of a moving company and it's employees. Smithman movers was so amazing when we needed to have more moving done we scheduled it from across the country and it was handled flawlessly. I honestly cannot recommend them any more.
