I should have written down my questions!" Patience...Go find balance, Daniel-san and spoiler alert: yes, yes that Was all. They just made everything easy, from scheduling, to accommodating to the whole scha bang. 2) His right hand men, Josh and Derrick, are professional, positive attitude, confident guys that have been working together for 10+yrs and it shows 3) under promised and over delivered : Nate was realistic on time/ cost quote and 4) the guys cared about our tetrominoes ... We were their 3rd move that day but the way the carried themselves and our boxes you would have never guessed. 5) from the poker table to smoking barrels out the back door of the saloon fast. It will blow your mind what they can get done in just over an hour. Tip Do yourself a favor, have them handle all the loading, unloading and delivery. On the day I was supposed to move, I was informed that I had accidentally been booked for a Sunday--even though the company does not work on Sundays--and that my move would have to be pushed to the following day. As a single mom, I had carefully planned my move, my time, and the cleaning of my old apartment around the scheduled moving date. Their failure to show up didn't just inconvenience me for a few hours. Having my move pushed back meant I also lost the time I had set aside to finish cleaning the apartment I was leaving. Ultimately, I lost my security deposit. That is why this was such a major issue for me. When you hire and schedule movers, you are relying on them to show up on the agreed-upon date. Other deadlines and responsibilities are often tied directly to that schedule, and a company's mistake can have real financial consequences for the customer. To their credit, they apologized multiple times and did refund my $50. However, it took more than a week for me to receive the refund. I appreciate the apologies and the fact that my money was eventually returned, but a $50 refund doesn't undo the disruption or the financial loss their scheduling mistake contributed to. I'm sharing my experience because other people deserve to know what happened before trusting a company with something as time-sensitive as a move. Mistakes happen, but reliability matters enormously in this business. Unfortunately, when I needed them to show up as scheduled, they didn't.

This is the 3rd time we've used them, but the first time we had any damage. An expensive, black walnut dining room table was scratched. Dondi worked with us to bring in a professional furniture repair person who was recommended by the furniture store where we bought the table, and graciously paid to have the entire table top refinished so it looks like new. I'll spare you all the details but here's just a few things; no contact with me until I texted them all morning for an ETA; came late with stuff in the truck from another move; brought five guys and yet it still took them 6 hours to move our furniture (no boxes, just disassembled bedroom furniture and half a garage of other furniture); they waited until they were at my new place to discuss money and the fact that they only take cash, and since I was planning on using a credit card, they immediately started threatening to take my stuff back to my apartment and dump it and "take their losses," I believe that's called extortion. I scraped together as much cash as I could and then while my brother went to the ATM, they actually stopped working. They would not move a muscle until they got their total amount. And when they started working again, they tried to steal one of our TV's. There's more but I'll just leave this here. Don't use these people, they clearly don't vet their subcontractors and their behavior is unprofessional at best and gangster-like at worst.

Upon accessing Yelp and detailing the services I needed. I was pleasantly surprised by an immediate response from the owner/operator of All Around Handyman, who requested that I select and schedule a date and time on his calendar which I did. Chad arrived ten-minutes early with a big smile on his face. I found him to be knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. As well as a very resourceful handyman. It was refreshing to meet a friendly handyman with a downhome attitude who shares a similar outdoor lifestyle as I. I hadn't laughed so much as a resident of Sioux Falls.
