Fair warning: he will absolutely kick your ass, but that's exactly what makes his approach so effective. The combination of one-on-one care (no PT-aids!), a spotless facility, and exceptional front desk staff (shout out to Heather!) created a seamless experience from day one. Under Benny's expert guidance, I've not only recovered but gained the confidence to push my limits again. More importantly, I now understand how to keep symptoms at bay if issues arise down the road. What sets Benny apart is his commitment to identifying root causes. Those long hours hunched at my desk? Yeah, surprise, surprise...that was a major factor. His curated exercise plan and practical lifestyle recommendations were game-changers. His exercise instructions were so thorough that I rarely needed to follow up, though he was always just a quick email away when I did. While Graspmore doesn't take insurance, the ROI on these visits is easily 10x what you'd get at other clinics that rush you through appointments and send you off with generic exercise sheets. The personalized care plan and lasting results are worth every penny. Six weeks later, I'm back to full strength. Graspmore will keep these old bones moving for years to come, and Benny is absolutely the man for the job. Bonus points: the location on 17th makes it perfectly bikeable! BIG THANK YOU to the entire team!

Steve has my highest possible recommendation…read more I came to him with a really stubborn shoulder injury and he helped me diagnose the movement patters that led to the injury, rebuild stability + strength from the ground up, and get me to the point where I was ready to resume normal activities (completely pain free) in ~2 months. Then we spent time working on other exercises (that I thought I knew how to do) and he helped me develop the intuition that I need to prevent future injuries. Steve is a fantastic listener and has a keen eye for form + biomechanics. He's able to listen to all of my complaints, synthesize them into a hypothesis, and then test my movements to confirm his suspicions. He's also can do massage + chiropractic adjustments to provide pain relief -- which definitely came in handy quite a few times. I'm SO happy I made the choice to work with Steve. I'm completely pain free + and feeling much stronger than I was when I started and am more confident than ever that I'll be able to continue reaching for my fitness goals while staying healthy.

Mike, who has been my PT twice over the last years, is a magician. He's 'fixed' me on multiple occasions where pain became unbearable and I didn't know what else to do. He has SO much experience in the field and is a wealth of knowledge on the body and anatomy, so you are in great hands, but his attention to detail and genuine desire to help you is what sets him apart from the rest. He's also such a kind, humble, gentle, and sweet guy -- you're lucky to even know him! If I could give GSPORTS 10 stars, I would. If you're considering a PT in the area, look nowhere else - book it!

I've been a GSports patient for two chronic injuries 10 years apart, and I highly recommend GSports…read morebased on my experience. My first injury was a stubborn and very painful foot problem (posterior tibial tendinopathy) that left me hobbling around for a year and a half. I started physical therapy basically out of desperation, but after about 4 months with G Sports, I was completely recovered, was able to return to my prior level of physical activity and exercise, and have not had an issue with foot since. My PT for this injury was Dr. Justin Jellin, who was outstanding. More recently, I came back for a hip problem that didn't improve at all after 6 months of trying to manage it on my own. The injury was bad enough that I had significant trouble driving and doing basic household chores. I have young kids, so I do a fair amount of driving and picking-stuff-up, so it's hard for me to overstate how irritating this injury was. I started working with Dr. Gee in May 2026, who has also been outstanding, and have made a significant recovery so far. In addition to creating a great rehab routine, Dr. Gee has been using shockwave therapy to help with my recovery. It's hard for me to know how much of my current recovery is due to the exercises I've been instructed to do vs the shockwave treatment, since I'm doing both concurrently, but I did notice a huge improvement in my symptoms immediately after the first shockwave treatment. After 3 months, I've gone from significant and constant pain to more like on-and-off local irritation (I'm often pain free for several days in a row). I'm back to driving and my normal daily activities without problems. I'm still making noticeable progress every week and hope to get back to my prior exercise routine in the next few months. The office/front desk team has also been great. They're incredibly friendly and have been extremely helpful when I've had to make changes to my rehab schedule. Overall, I highly recommend GSports for physical therapy. At this point, if I have another injury in the future, I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.

PHYSICAL THERAPY:…read more One physical therapist would always be on their cell phone and make small talk instead of watching my form during each 45-minute session. Another one was extremely impatient when delivering a life sentence diagnosis. I couldn't tell if they were just having a bad day or just taking it out on me. Either way, it was extremely unhelpful. They lectured me for 40 minutes about how my life will be filled with injuries and that I should stop getting medical imaging. I only got imaging when I did what that physical therapist said I could do and either didn't get better or got worse after six months, something I didn't have the heart to tell this physical therapist. The only other time a different healthcare provider scolded me was to quit a stressful job. I could at least sense that they did it out of care for me, though they were still telling me that it was all my fault. But during this lecture, I only felt dismissed with each gentle, diplomatic question I asked. They kept telling me to trust my body, something I gently reminded them that studies show is very hard to do with the diagnosis they gave. During their lecture, I asked if they could muscle test me so I could know which of their exercises to do more of. Muscle testing takes at most three minutes. They refused until I started crying. I've never cried in front of a physical therapist or doctor before, even when they delivered damning news. When they finally muscle tested me, they gave advice that contradicted advice they lectured me for 40 minutes for. Had I not asked repeated to be muscle tested, I would have gone home to do exercises that would have created more imbalance in my body. They told me there's no hope though they aren't an expert in some of my issues. I asked if they might ever take classes on one of my issues that they never looked into and I finally learned that they aren't an expert on, and they didn't even bother to test or observe or ask for previous medical records. I got no reply. I don't expect anyone to be an expert in my issues. But I do expect basic politeness instead of defensiveness and impatience. Instead they told me not to do any of the physical therapy exercises from a different provider who at least gave exercises for one of my issues. They also repeatedly told me if I'm not in pain, I'm fine. That's something that isn't possible for someone with my diagnosis. I told them that I lived that way for decades, only to get more and more injured in my whole body. Rule #1 for anyone in the healing world: unless you're god or you know every bodywork modality in the world, don't take away all hope someone has. I'll never book with a provider before confirming what they know about my issues or insisting that they look at my previous medical records. BILLING DOESN'T LIST DATES OF SERVICE OR SEND BILLS TO PATIENT BY MAIL OR EMAIL: Their new system stopped mailing bills to me without telling me. They started mailing bills to the guarantor of the health insurance account, which looked like solicitations for donations. Meanwhile I was getting mail asking for donations. I can't make this up. So the guarantor (my partner) didn't open letters from UCSF because they never went to UCSF for healthcare. When my partner finally opened the mail months later, they saw they were bills for me. None were itemized. So I emailed asking for dates of service and to make sure I didn't get charged late fees because when I log it, it still shows that I signed up for paperless bills, though I never got one for years! Five business days later, I still haven't heard from them. And there's no option to talk to billing on the phone.

I will update my review after I've actually managed to have an appointment here. The process of…read moretrying to procure an appointment, however, has been a journey in and of itself. My doctor referred me to St Franchis for PT. They called me to schedule an appointment. I called back, let a VM as no one picked up even though it was business hours. I called back the next day again and they asked me to check with my insurance if they were in network. I called my insurance to confirm that yes, they were in network. Then I called back to make an appointment. They dug around for 10 mins and came back and said they lost the referral from my doctor. So I could wait a week until someone who is out can come back and find the referral, or I can ask my doctor to re-send the referral. I then had to call my doctor again to re-send the referral asap. So far I've probably spent 45 mins trying to get an appointment here, and I don't have one yet. I'm sure this place is great based on reviews, but I see some others have complained about the support staff, and I think it's valid as it's disappointing to have to work so hard to pay someone else money.
