Besides the advantage of choosing everything you like and having control over what ratios you want for the flavours, the actual frozen yogurt itself is great! It's not too milky like Icecream which makes it a bit lighter to eat. My recommendation is fresh strawberries and original yogurt. It's simple but a winner combination!

The sweetened option is sweetened with sugar cane. The bowl comes with your choice of toppings like the frozen yogurt. Being a yoghurt fanatic, I always get the tart (original flavor). It's sour and refreshing and also encourages you to enjoy your toppings more. So the toppings, they have huge variety. You can go for a healthy option like raspberries and mango or you can choose from a variety of cheeky toppings like homemade crumble and dark chocolate flakes. I fell in love with New Zealand ice cream flavours after a 7 day visit in october 2012 to Queenstown for an adventure holiday with some work friends. My favourite go to ice cream flavour was orange choc chip when i was there.. had it every day sometimes twice lol, which i saw that they had on offer on sunday when i went but looked like it was a new release flavour for Sydney . I ended up going to with 1 scoop rainbow flavour with a half chocolate dipped wafer cone, it tasted amazing and brought back some tasty memories. My friend that i was with was a bit eerie about it .. but as soon as they had a taste of mine their eyes lit up haha!! All in all this place represents NZ ice cream very well and I've seen the franchise grow dramatically around Sydney so their would definately be a place close or reasonably close by to where you live !

Therefore I was relieved to find my favourite the peanut butter ice cream when I went to the Bondi Junction Cold Rock. Cold Rock's big thing is the mix ins, where they get chocolate bars, biscuits and lollies, then smash them through ice cream. That doesn't interest me at all, in fact I find the idea of Gummy Bears and ice cream together a bit disgusting. Also I am not sure why Cold Rock make such a big deal of this concept as their ice cream is so good that it does not need any accompaniment. Whenever I go to cold rock, I go straight for the thick shakes, they have some of the best thick shakes to be found. They put in four scoops of ice cream and I had today two scoops of peanut butter, one scoop of chocolate and one scoop of Ferrero Roche. There is so much flavour that added topping is unneccissary and the final result is an enormous, lung bustingly thick, thick, thick shake. Definitely high in sugar though so wouldn't get if you're trying to diet. The acai base tastes the best out of all the acai places here and it's also very neat. I've noticed the other acai bowl places nearby can be messy and sticky on the outside. The standard bowl sizes are also the same price but double the size of the bowls you'll find at other acai places. Five star service as well.
