We have moved several times in and around Montreal and have experience engaging multiple moving companies. But so far the best experience was when we engaged with Montreal Small Moves. We were always attended and taken care personally from the owners: Archie and Chantal. We have been customers of Archie and Chantal from the past 4 years now. Before each move, They asked us to create a detailed inventory including the details of which floor and type of building. And once they provide the rate cards, We are all set with no other hidden costs. They helped us to move within Montreal a couple of times with their own truck, once with moving all our belongings from a storage facility to our home, and twice with loading/unloading items from home into our U-haul truck. Archie and Chantal and their team handled all the items and boxes with care during the whole moving process. I definitely recommend Montreal small moves to anybody who wants peace of mind and a good experience during moving. Best Regards, Ashwin & Ramya

I'm actually quite sorry to write this, but wow. what a terrible experience. DO NOT USE

They were in time and they were quick to start and do the move. They also took great care of all of our items and made sure everything was wrapped up or properly dealt with prior to moving. They were quick, efficient, and nice to talk to. They also wore masks during the move. They even finished earlier than estimated, which meant we paid less than what we were quoted for. Payment was easily done through e-transfer.

Perfect movers in every way. Friendly, too, but they don't waste time, just the right speed so that nothing gets damaged and no one gets hurt. - Before you trust their "5-star Google reviews" and their superficial brand image, please read…read morebelow. - What happened to me, might happen to you too. PS: A lot of their "5-star Google reviews" are suspicious: - Many of them are from accounts that only have 1 review, and those different accounts somehow posted similar content. - More importantly, ASAP Moving and Transport themselves, have accounts with fake names called "Sew Kits" on Google, speaking on their behalf. - I had interactions with ASAP Moving and Transport Inc., in specific Jason Fougere (manager) and Alexander Kostiuk (owner), both had multiple dishonest behaviours. -They always appeared to be the nicest people with their verbal politeness, and previously I was fooled by them too. Yet, after I found out they made mistakes, I also found out their true colours. - Not only ASAP Moving and Transport never admitted their mistakes, they were playing wording and blaming games, pushing responsibilities away, finding excuses, making promises but never fulfill, and even straight up lying. - Some of the stories they said were so fake - they even self-conflict! - I do not understand why ASAP Moving and Transport thought they could get away with lying after making mistakes, because lying will never help a business, it will only destroy a business. - Once their credibility is damaged, it cannot be fixed. - After all the lies, ASAP Moving and Transport still chose to self-proclaim "diligent and honest" and kept on lying, providing false and partial information to avoid responsibility. - Clearly, they have no regret for lying. - In Canada, we have no room for liars. - I highly suggest you to choose another moving company who is at least honest with their consumers. There are many other companies who are competent and actually place integrity ahead of money. - You can try a moving company who is in the Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) - ASAP Moving and Transport is not even in it.

I've never had complaints - the guys on both occasions were polite, friendly and did the extra - like asking me if I had a mop so they could clean up the snow and slush they left on the tile floor. I really wanted to give Fox Movers a good review, but I have to be honest and let others know what…read moreI experienced. First of all, I had a small 3 1/2 apartment and was moving to another 3 1/2. Three guys came in on time and began wrapping my furniture. They were polite and friendly, and I felt that it would be a good move. It all seemed to be going well as most of my pieces were wrapped in less than a half hour. An hour later, I looked around and realized that nothing had made it out of my apartment to the truck... no guys in sight for long periods of time and no furniture being loaded. I told one of them that came back into the apartment that they needed to pick up the pace as we needed to be at the next apartment for 1 pm or so. Well, it was exactly 4:30 pm before they pulled up to the new apartment! I want to add that they stretched the travel time to by going through downtown Montreal at rush hour rather than through the Lafontaine Tunnel as we had planned. They will say that it took more time because of the distance from the door to the van, it was hard to get the appliances out of the apartment, etc., but I know otherwise. While what they said was true to a point, all they had to move was a small amount of furniture along with my appliances. There were no boxes at all as I had moved kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and storage room on my own, prior to the move. They were hired strictly for the big furniture and appliances. I felt it would be 2 hours loading, 1 hour of travel time, and 1 or so hours unloading. Instead it was over 4 hours loading plus another hour or so travel and 1 hour unloading. I think 4-5 hours should have completed the job. However, it ended up being 6 1/2 hours of paying 3 dawdling movers. They did not take care of offloading and just really dumped and ran. I am upset over the length of time it took, but I'm really upset about damages done to my new stove. They did not tape the stove drawer shut and so it shifted open at some point and the wheels were damaged and had to be replaced as I could not close the drawer after I opened it. They also left pieces of my washer/dryer assembly kit to stack them at my old apartment. Of course, it appears my dryer is shifting as the rails are not bolted down right. I was able to retrieve the piece, but I don't know how I will have the problem resolved. It will probably mean hiring someone to unstack the machines and fix the stacking kit assembly before the dryer totally shifts off its base. Who will pay for this? Me i guess, just as I had to for the stove drawer! I can only imagine how hard it is to be a mover. I really feel for these guys to have to move heavy stuff day after day while dealing with all kinds of customers. It can't be easy! That said, my advice to you is NOT to use Fox movers unless don't have a choice.

We have had one- and two- star experiences with various moving companies in the past, so to be honest, I wasn't expecting much. But this experience was a pleasant surprise in every aspect. We were blown away by how organized the packers (Ron, Neil) were. They definitely knew what they were doing and how to best optimize the space in each box while keeping valuables intact. The guy in charge, Réal, was kickass. There is no other way to describe it, he ran the show and he was on top of everything. What I loved is that he was managing both the packing/loading and the unpacking/unloading at the final destination, so he was familiar with our belongings and how everything was organized. Kimberly in the office was a real sweetheart, and was extremely patient in dealing with us even when we didn't have many details of the move finalized (destination address, day of move, etc.) I chose Kings because they seemed to excel in customer service, and I was proven correct. They were not the cheapest quote I received (nor the most expensive) but I would gladly pay more for an impeccable move in which absolutely nothing went wrong. I know...I didn't think such an experience existed. Thank you, Kings Transfer!
