I actually wish that I had this company to work with years ago for other events. The other great thing - and even more important - is that this is a Christian company not just in name, but in spirit and in deed. It means the world to have people come to your special event like they did, set up and execute so professionally, and then to know that they are doing it with Christian principles. It was a huge plus to have them present, and I hope to request their services again. 5 stars indeed!!!

They had me taken care of in no time and I was able to open without a hitch! Then when my chairs were delayed even further, Allied gave me until the following morning after my return date to get the chairs back to them! Great company with awesome customer support. Would definitely use them again!

I recently rented a large tent with windows/walls, lighting, tables, chairs, linen and tableware…read morefrom Allied Party Rental for a sit-down dinner for my daughter's graduation, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The initial communication with Allied Party Rental was very positive. When communicating through email, the staff was friendly, and everything seemed to be on track. I was optimistic about the service and excited for the event. Delivery day is where everything began to go wrong. I admit that I overlooked the delivery date on the contract and was not expecting the equipment to be delivered almost five days prior to the event. When the delivery team arrived, I was not home and informed my husband that there was an error and he then informed them as such, so they left. I immediately contacted Allied Party Rental and was made aware of the original contract delivery date. Within minutes of the drivers leaving, someone at the company was able to speak with the drivers and the next step decided was that they would go to lunch and would return to drop-off the equipment right after. For anyone wondering why I had concerns with the initial delivery, it was because I was scheduled to host two events. The first event was on Saturday, and the tent was not needed because it would reduce the necessary space and interfere with the ability to use a grill. The second event, where the tent was required, was scheduled for Monday. After two hours of waiting, I made a call to check their status. I was informed they were on their way. After an additional 3 hours of waiting (total of 5+ hours later) I was now understandably frustrated that the delivery team had not returned. On my final call to check the delivery status, I expressed my frustration to Kristen and asked for a specific arrival time, as I had other plans. She responded rudely, saying, "Well, ma'am, you turned our drivers away, they were there, and your contract stated this was your delivery date." When I asked if they provided delivery reminder calls/emails/text messages, to check the time of availability, I was told they did not. When I mentioned that my review of the company would not be favorable, I was put on hold and then a manager got on the line. I explained the issue and asked why Kristen transferred me without first updating me of the transfer, his response was "because when someone is threatening a poor review, I need to be made aware." He then proceeded to not take accountability or to apologize for the extended delay. I will note that the delivery team arrived while I was on the phone with the manager. Post the delivery debacle, I found that the tent equipment had holes in two of the plastic "window/wall" sections as well as black smudge marks visible on the clear sections that could not be cleaned using a soft microfiber cloth. This looked unsightly and required me to be creative with decorating. Additionally, the tables and chairs were very dirty and needed significant cleaning before use, which was unacceptable even though we ordered linen. Overall, I just found that there was a lack of accountability and communication with the rental company not accepting responsibility for the additional five-hour wait after being told the team would return right after lunch and, that the company does not provide delivery confirmation calls/emails/text messages or reminders, which could have possibly prevented this issue. To add to this unfortunate experience, the equipment pickup, which I understood was supposed to be the next business day after the scheduled event, did not go as planned either. Given the stress and inconvenience caused by these problems, I cannot recommend Allied Party Rental and will not use them for any of my future events.

No one called or anything. When I told him my invoice (that HE sent me) said I had 3 more weeks to pay it, he just said well it's too late, no one is available. This is not how you do business. A follow up call would have been sufficient, but I didn't get that. I inquired to pay 50% prior and was told no, pay in full after. This is not the company to go with if you're having an event. From initial consultation to clean up after the event, Michelle O'Brien and staff were always accommodating and professional. Unlike some other local caterer's, Michelle was willing to work within our budget and still provide outstanding food and service. The only thing I regret is not letting Land & Sea handle everything. Although I didn't realize it at the time, they typically handle all table and linen rentals through trusted third party companies. We went with another company and they did well but it required a lot of unnecessary coordination on our part. You have enough to worry about on your wedding day! Even though we used a different rental company, Michelle still reviewed our order with them and saved us from not having enough tables and linens a few days before the event. On the day of the event, Land & Sea was prompt and efficient. The service was attentive and the food was perfect for a late afternoon meal. As I mentioned, we got our cake through a cake baking friend and it was a minor disaster. It "fell" on the ride over and was in pretty bad shape. As I was preoccupied with my eminent nuptials, I saw Michelle step in and they did the best they could to shore up the cake and present it. Again, just go with the full service, you won't regret it! As for food we had: cocktail hour with assorted cheeses and fruit tortellini pasta (very good) crab dip (lot's of crab in here!), fresh salad w/ goat cheese, sesame chicken tenders w/ thai sauce (just the right amount of kick) and cocktail ham sandwiches with honey mustard. We sent a lot of leftovers home, there was more than enough for everyone. We had an amazing wedding and reception, thanks to Land & Sea for making it that much easier!

Over several meetings she made comments about other people's weddings songs, and how she didn't want to do our wedding but was glad that our wedding included her "favorite songs." She continually alluded to this other wedding of whom we loosely knew who the other people were. It was very annoying. She continually sent us tasks to do that were due by the end of the day with both my bride and me having full time jobs. We were also told by another couple that they "accidentally" received our wedding day itinerary from Valerie. Which was extremely unprofessional. Finally on the day of, her crew were late, and the DJ played songs out of order. I will say that the final product was outstanding and our wedding was fantastic. Tommy, the owner, was great, but Valerie made the experience less than desirable and extremely stressful for a day that is supposed to be exciting. Why it's a 3 star review.
