After getting a few estimates from other services (most of which did not respond to my inquiries for days and when they did gave very high quotes), I am so glad I found Mountview! Jason (the arborist) communicated very well, promptly replied, answered all of my questions, was super knowledgeable AND was the best quote by far. He was able to work us in very quickly to remove a tree between our sidewalk and street. And the clean up! Oh my goodness! They had competitive pricing and were quick to come out and do the job of taking down a very large tree that was causing some damage to our home. They were so nice and easy to work with. So disappointed...had this business come out and recommend someone to treat our ash trees...at the same time asked to have our Honey Locust trees trimmed. Was promised they would be back in July to assess the trees and set up time to trim them. After many unreturned phone calls we have given up on them and will contacting another company. It took a while to get a quote, but it's prime tree season, so I understand. Once I got the quote, Jason was responsive to my additional questions and requests and the quote was fair. He even fit us in a week later. Two full days of work and our trees not only look great, but I'm confident branches won't come tumbling down in wind, rain or snow. I am so pleased I selected Mountview Tree Experts! Booking an appointment for a walk through and estimate is done online. I liked that because I could see all the open times for various dates. Once I booked, I received an immediate email confirmation. I also received reminder emails and even a text an hour before the scheduled time. Having dealt with sooooo many flaky landscapers , I found this refreshing. Jason is so pleasant to deal with! I appreciated that he also told me he didn't want to take my money to take care of certain trees I had questions about. I have had Jason out twice - once for trimming seven trees and a second time to remove two Aspens that were in decline. His work has been excellent. I moved into a new home in winter and the trees had not been trimmed in some time. Before trimming, Jason told me what type of tree each one was and walked me through what trimming each tree needed. Jason Writz is a skilled arborist who provides a very reasonable bid for his services and then exceeds expectations with his performance. We had dead trees leaning toward our house that would have done considerable damage if they blew down. He removed them with no damage to our home, fences or landscaping. When he found a raccoon with babies in one of the trees, he let us know and we opted to finish that one in a few weeks after the babies are weaned. We appreciated the thoughtful response. We've used Mountview Tree Experts for multiple jobs and have always been extremely pleased. Jason is very knowledgeable, responsive and reliable. We first had him do some pruning. He studied the trees to make sure his cuts were necessary and brought out the best shape and health of the tree. For the second job, we had trees planted too deep (not by him) which just weren't thriving. He diagnosed the issue, gave us a reasonable bid to correct the problem, and did the work efficiently.
