What really frustrated me was how this business set up an appt, then ghosted me when I tried to confirm it, essentially wasting my time. Not responding to a potential customer, even if the answer is "no," is never an acceptable business model. I would have expected better from a company who boasts winning "best of" awards over several years.

The team at Langley were transparent and clear about how to best take care of our trees and revive them. It turns out we were overwatering the maples and it overwhelmed the tree systems. I try to hire all through referrals or reviews and I'm glad I did in this case. The Jordan team has done a major trim jobs on 2 trees, identified and gave advice for 6 other trees, referred us out for proper Ash Borer prevention services, helped us save several trees, and continues to respond promptly with advice. His communication is clear and his expertise is obvious. They have been professional, knowledgeable, and one of those resources you almost hate to share lol. Trees are so precious for our home cooling, yard enjoyment, wildlife watching, and obviously for our health- give them the best treatment for a long life! I've learned so much about the trees I adore at the properties that I manage, thanks in part to David and co. This is one of those services (like most) where I wouldn't simply go with the cheapest bid. They weren't the cheapest, but that makes sense because they are providing quality work for an important job. In my experience, it can be a good sign that the price matches the quality and employees are seemingly treated well (and more likely to be high quality). No use paying less if someone is going to damage your trees, underestimate to suck you in, or flake out on you, right?

We called this company, after a well known national chain with whom we have been getting mediocre…read moreservice from, quoted us an estimate of $429.00 an hour for tree removal after a large storm took down a LOT of branches in the Ft. Collins area recently. This quote did not include "mobilization," which would have been an added fee to get the equipment and crew to our home. They said this job could last from"4-6 hours." My friends, we are talking 2800 dollars to remove some branches! I called Kincaid after reading its reviews. The person on the phone was courteous, and professional. After hearing the previously quoted price, she validated my assumption that we were being price gouged. She noted my concerns regarding downed limbs in the street, and let me know they would respond once she conferred with the arborist. We received a call that day, and scheduled for the the next. They took care of every tree, and removed and chipped all the down limbs. They were quick, professional and the trees look amazing! The total cost: well under the quoted price of this other company for one just hour of work. Having grown up in "Tornado Alley" price gouging leaves a sick feeling in my stomach. taking advantage of folks, in a pandemic no less, to make extra money is criminal.
