Not responding to a potential customer, even if the answer is "no," is never an acceptable business model. Collins area recently. This quote did not include "mobilization," which would have been an added fee to get the equipment and crew to our home. They said this job could last from"4-6 hours." My friends, we are talking 2800 dollars to remove some branches! I called Kincaid after reading its reviews. The person on the phone was courteous, and professional. After hearing the previously quoted price, she validated my assumption that we were being price gouged. She noted my concerns regarding downed limbs in the street, and let me know they would respond once she conferred with the arborist. We received a call that day, and scheduled for the the next. They took care of every tree, and removed and chipped all the down limbs. They were quick, professional and the trees look amazing! The total cost: well under the quoted price of this other company for one just hour of work. Having grown up in "Tornado Alley" price gouging leaves a sick feeling in my stomach. taking advantage of folks, in a pandemic no less, to make extra money is criminal.
