Effortlessly beautiful. This is the exact spot where you turn for the long, winding road toward Crested Butte, cutting straight through what is the greatest aspen stand in the world. I haven't been received by the hotel yet, but honestly, based on location alone, it's a future no-brainer. When those aspens go golden in the fall, this area is unreal. There's something magical about being right at the gateway to that drive. For anyone who loves Colorado the way New Yorkers love a great view and a great story, Kebler Corner already earns five stars.

They have a nice clean bathroom that is only available to customers; I found a cute pair of earrings for $10 and used the bathroom before shipping out. Laurie and Scott were both such kind souls and truly made it worth the stay. When I forgot a water bottle, they graciously offered me one provided water every single morning, and didn't mind 20 kids every morning playing music and cooking breakfast . They truly made this experience your own. They include wonderful things like goat walks, chickens, egg harvesting, and plenty of other things. It's a wonderful campsite run by two wonderful people and when in the Palo is area I would highly recommend it. Thank you for your hospitality I can't thank you for your kindness. They are Marble RV park and campground now. We saw multiple marmot and also a friendly fox who was trying to find food. The fox drug off one of my friends shoes across our campsite and also some things from our neighbors were strewn over their campground. The tent areas were a little small probably enough room for one tent. At least at the site we had. Good thing we had 2 cars and were doing car camping. The host was friendly and did come in and check on us. The rates were good. If you know you are coming you might consider putting your reservation in, in advance. We did ours in may for august and slots were already filling up at that point. They have a nice bathroom with showers. They are well taken care of. There is a door lock with a key code to get in. Very beautiful views. Would definitely come back again.

So they're lying to try to make customers upgrade for an unnecessary cost. They should be embarrassed. If you don't want to allow JetBoils then say that but don't lie to make it sound like they're not allowed when the county says they're okay.

It was super easy to check in and they were kind enough to let us check in early (11:45am) They do offer cabin rentals, RV sites and tent sites. Our Site: We got a tent site and it was pretty big. A bit bigger than the rest and it was perfect for our party of 4. You can only bring one tent and it has to be on the tent pad so extra tents or any tents placed other than the tent pad are not allowed. Which was a huge bummer. We were 2 couples with 2 tents and had to purchase a bigger tent to fit all of us in it to fit on the pad. All in all we made it work. Parking: You have to register all vehicles that are staying in the campsite and only one car is allowed per site, which is somewhat of an inconvenience. Any extra vehicles are $5 more. We were told to park the extra vehicle in the extra parking spaces that were far away from our site. Bathrooms and Showers: They only have Male and Female bathrooms and showers an no gender neutral bathrooms or showers, so it can be very uncomfortable for masculine presenting women to go to the bathroom. They did say they had just remodeled the entire place so they completely missed the opportunity to be more inclusive. However, the bathrooms were very clean, and the showers were really nice. We did bring our own bathroom tent to avoid any type of uncomfortable encounters when having to use the little girls room and were told we could not have it bc they were trying to grow grass and any bodily fluids would be harmful to the soil. So we had to put our toilet away :( Each site has a fire pit and the camp ground offers wifi and a little convenient store. They do come around every other hour or so on their golf-cars selling fire wood and making sure everyone is following the rules. I honestly loved this place and would come back. The town's nearby are gorgeous and the staff here is super nice.

The whole staff is wonderful. Fifty-amp power is excellent, showers and laundry facilities are kept spotless and the wi-fi, while it leaves something to be desired, is adequate--you should be outside enjoying the beautiful surroundings instead of surfing the net anyway! Leave the kids and grandkids at home though, because this is an over 55 RV park and only open from around the 21st of May until the 21st of September.

If you want a Colorado Rocky Mountian experience that feels like you're a world away but only 10 minutes from the market, we can't recommend this one of a kind retreat enough!

The manager, Logan was so nice. He helped us out with an awkward situation re a neighbor's bright light, and he handled it very diplomatically. The one thing that disappointedly me was the laundry room and its facilities. $2.50 per SMALL washer (there were 3), and $1.50 per dryer (there were 4). The room seemed dirty, the dryers seemed dirty. The whole room needs some attention and love. I don't think we'll be traveling thru Glenwood Springs again, but you never know .... if we do, we'll be sure to reserve a campsite at Elk Creek Campground!

We made reservations to park our RV for the week last minute (which we were excited about even…read moregetting given the fact that it's summer and there was an event in town). The staff was super friendly and accommodating of our need to extend our checkout until later in the day so we could finish out the work day. The park grounds are well kept; the on site Wi-Fi worked well when we used it (we had Internet in our RV via AT&T and Verizon) and we're able to work from the RV during the week with no problems; the little laundry facility was clean and even had a nice table to fold on and a rolling basket to move loads with. Most of the washer and dryer units were working and did a fine job at cleaning our clothes. I was also pleased at the $1.25 a load for washing and $0.25 per 15 minutes for drying. We didn't use the bath house so unfortunately I can't opine on that. The only con is that you parked awfully close to your neighbors and I felt bad because our sewer hose ran next to our neighbors eating area/pic-nick table. Also, because of the closeness of RVs/Trailers, it was a little more of a challenge than usual to park our RV. To be fair, it is an almost 38' long Class A Motorhome (so a bit like driving a bus). That said, most of the folks camping in the park were older, clean and quiet which we really appreciated. There was an occasional barking dog but everyone seemed really good at taking care of their pets and not letting them bark endlessly for long periods of time. Similarly, you are close to the road, and do get a little bit of traffic noise but it didn't bother us at all during the day and there isn't much traffic at night. We would definitely stay here again.
