He was even the guy who trained special forces operatives! Previously in NJ, his boxers became the NJ golden gloves and diamond gloves champions. As tough as he is, he's a super nice guy who takes a personal interest in everyone who comes to the gym. If you are strictly looking for fitness boxing, he can show you workouts that will leave you struggling to move the next day. If you are looking for defensive skills, he can teach you everything from the very basics, to the skills necessary to be an Olympic or UFC fighter, which he's coached. Jarek is an extremely classy guy who has the ability to bring out the best in you. Everything starts with safety here, and the classes are even good for children (no contact allowed) He offers private training for those who prefer them. It's not just about kicking and punching, it's also about teaching the kids how to treat others in the community. The entire staff are so patient, full of energy, and each of them is a model of inspiration. We started when my son was four. There was a difficult time for him to wake up from his nap to go to the classes and I was thinking maybe I should wait till he's a little older. But I'm glad that we stick with it, I can see him growing from a shy kid who didn't want to go in the mat to a kid that was so proud of himself for talking to another kid on the mat lol. In the paperwork they give you it clearly says you are entitled to a refund. However the owner is refusing to give my money back. She has lied to me during this whole month telling me they were going to give it to me back now she is telling me they are not. The man who works up at the front desk told me they have no money in their company account! Scary... If you are a college student at Yavapai college. Please do not go here. That's what I am I am just trying to get through my nursing degree and these people have been a complete nightmare. I am working on getting Yavapai college to stop recommending this school.
