With the smaller class sizes, the teachers take the time to get to know each person, make recommendations for adjustment to maximize your workout and minimize creating potential injuries. I've tried other studios with larger class sizes and have found that the workout results were hit or miss, however at Soar, I get a great workout every time. You know it's a good workout when you can feel muscles you didn't know you had for a day or two after - and I love it! Great for any age, or any skill level.

Doesn't matter how old you are or what shape your in. It's about working out and having fun doing it. The place is kinda small but thats ok. The owners are extremely nice. In fact, everyone I met at Average Joe's was super nice. They give you a free class to try it out... and yes, my daughter had a blast. The owners took the time to teach my daughter how to box safely. First the foot work, then hands and then the arms. Each class is an hour. After boxing, they offered wrestling. My daughter wanted to try that too. She ended up liking the boxing practice a little better. So yeah, we will be back.

He was even the guy who trained special forces operatives! Previously in NJ, his boxers became the NJ golden gloves and diamond gloves champions. As tough as he is, he's a super nice guy who takes a personal interest in everyone who comes to the gym. If you are strictly looking for fitness boxing, he can show you workouts that will leave you struggling to move the next day. If you are looking for defensive skills, he can teach you everything from the very basics, to the skills necessary to be an Olympic or UFC fighter, which he's coached. Jarek is an extremely classy guy who has the ability to bring out the best in you. Everything starts with safety here, and the classes are even good for children (no contact allowed) He offers private training for those who prefer them. Priced are less than half of what other world class trainers charge. I highly recommend Jarek.
