Core Pilates is the best Pilates studio in the area and then some (trust me, I've tried them all!). They teach REAL classical Pilates - and it has changed my life! After trying out other studios early in my Pilates journey, I realized I was not getting the true Pilates experience, nor all the benefits that it has to offer. Nicole is an exceptional instructor and truly cares about her clients. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to customize every class to the needs of her participants. I get to experience the benefits of a small class size - individualized instruction, technical and detailed guidance and immediate feedback. Nicole gets me back on track if I need it, and I appreciate her so much! The studio is always clean and exudes a home-like, comfortable atmosphere. I truly look forward to my work out sessions every time! I have progressed through the Level 1, 1.5, and 2 classes comfortably while being challenged over the last 4-5 months since I joined. I have done Pilates before in a larger group setting, and I wholeheartedly prefer this studio and these instructors. I've been attending Level 1 classes since Feb 2024 or so. Nicole and the other instructors are great! Nicole is patient, knows how to communicate form promptings, and does a great job with observing everyone in the class and pointing out gentle corrections in form as needed. After settling into our new home in Prescott, I began looking for a Pilates studio. It had been about 2 years since I took any classes. I looked online for reviews and found Connected in Motion had the best. So I emailed the owner Nicole and arranged an intro session. She is a wonderful instructor and I immediately felt at ease there. I chose group classes (3-4 per class) and fit right in. Nicole listens and remembers that I have neck issues at every class. She always modifies a movement for anyone with limitations. I highly recommend this studio along with Nicole as a super instructor. read more

I have been attending for a year now and love it:) Nicole is amazing! Susan is amazing! The good vibes make you feel at ease being there. Even though they both have a semi different style they work hard to educate you on proper form and breathing. I have been to a few other studios where it's more about catering to the masses and not as much individualized care with proper form instruction. Class schedules generally work well for me, but I do know that I can venture into a "pairing" or "private" class as well. All of their clients are awesome which makes the classes a lot of fun. read more

She obviously has a thorough knowledge of classical pilates method, but, being that I have a torn ACL, I really needed a trainer who could adapt to my need to strengthen muscles surrounding my injury. I love Pilates and Nicole is a one-of-a-kind teacher. She basically saved my life (back pain) a few years ago!! She is so knowledgeable (Pilates, Gyrotonic, movement) and has that great positive energy. Her classes are challenging and she pays close attention and offer adjustments and modifications for each participant, allowing everyone to get a great workout. I've had many private pilates sessions with Nicole and I think she is one of the best most knowledgeable instructors I've ever had. Not only is her attention to detail great, but she teaches in a very enthusiastic and energetic way. I am a novice to Pilates and Gyrotonic. Nicole has patiently worked with me through a combination of these sessions for almost 2 years. I'm concentrating on Gyrotonic now, which has tremendously helped my body gain better flexibility and mobility in my stiff shoulders and back- all the way down to my feet which have experienced more than a few corrective procedures. I recently got married and can totally credit pilates with Nicole for toning my body in ways that I wasn't even noticing until I got chastised by the seamstress for my dress being entirely too loose and not fitting properly! I am very happy to be a regular student of Nicole's! She is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and makes all the sessions fun. She has a great way of explaining the exercises and giving corrections and adjustments to keep in mind. I also love that the workouts are never the same. Yes, we definitely do some of the same exercises during each session, but Nicole is really great at mixing things up and challenging me each week to push myself further. When I leave our sessions, my body feels very worked out and healthy. I credit pilates with helping me to actually be able to see some of my stomach muscles, so I know that my core is getting stronger. I often find myself sitting at my desk at work thinking about keeping my spine in better alignment or my shoulders down, so I know that Nicole and the pilates are helping me improve my posture! I have been taking both group and private sessions with Nicole for around 5 years now. I have a very stressful job, and I was looking for the right work out that both challenged all parts of my body, yet still made me happy to do and reduced, not added, to my stress.
