Now this is a great company...the kind you want to have any tree problems taken care of. The removal crew was so efficient, fast and friendly and left the property spotless....even came to door to shake hands and make sure we were satisfied before leaving...one week later, stump grinder (Alex) arrived and was so pleasant and respectful of the area he was working in. Extremely fast, efficient and just as personable as the first crew. I congratulate you Mountain View for having such excellent and skilled workers....Good job read more

An excellent company the very obviously knows their trade and are reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend anyone who needs work in this service field to get a quote and have these guys do the work. You won't be disappointed. read more

Mountain View Tree Service were prompt in responding to our request for a quote to do some major pruning on a large mimosa tree in our back yard as well as maintenance pruning of large rhododendrons, various azaleas, Portugese laurel, etc. We were very pleased with the crew's work and attention to detail and their ability to put all of the branches in their chipper. They wanted to make sure we were happy with everything before they finished for the day. We highly recommend Mountain View Tree Svc and will definitely hire them again! read more

I needed the branches on my cypress tree cut back away from the house. The arborist came out and examined the tree but warned me that cutting back the branches too far could endanger the health of the tree. We were able to work out a compromise and I appreciated the fact he took such an interest in my tree. They did a great job and cleaned up nicely. read more

I had a large Cedar in my yard that needed thinning and the canopy lifted. (I had limbs laying on my house, providing a super highway for bugs and the possibility for damage during bad weather.). Riga came to gather information for his quote. He as highly professional and patient about explaining the process. I received his quote within one day of his visit. On the day of service, the crew shows up on time, were polite, professional and listened to concerns I had. They performed their work in a timely manner, chipped up the branches and limbs and did a great job with clean up. Afterward, the crew leader checked in with me, discussed additional work which wasn't imminent and went over a review of their work. Professional, timely, good work, great follow through. read more

We had a couple trees cut and trimmed on our property. The crew left our property cleaner than it had been when they arrived! We were impressed at their efficiency and professionalism. They were courteous from the time they arrived to the moment they left. We really appreciate their work and if we ever need any other trees taken care of, we will certainly be calling them again. read more

Mountain View is THE BEST of the best. We had a 150' Douglas Fir uproot and lean over our house in a windstorm. Within 3 hours of my initial call, we had an evaluation, an estimate and a team mobilized for an extremely dangerous job. The tree was in a location that was inaccessible to cranes or other large machinery. MVT put together an expert plan on securing the tree and had it de-limbed and topped the first day, working after dark. The professionalism, skill, stamina, and knowledge of everyone on the team was unbelievable. Alan, the climber, spent 2 days in the tree, precisely cutting, roping and working out the physics of the fall. The team on the ground removed huge chunks with care and efficiency. Remarkably there was no damage to our property and the crew left the jobsite all cleaned up and even put back a fence they had to remove for access. I went from believing we had lost our home to it being saved. Thank you MVT! read more

Great job sprucing up our mangy black walnut tree. They cleaned up everything. You hardly know they were even there. The tree looks much better. Would recommend. read more

Recently they removed a problematic Oak Tree at my mothers home. The old oak was a mess with numerous large branches and straddling the property line with a neighbor and right next to moms house. There was a fence directly underneath as well as a row of arborvitae that could not be harmed. They did a marvelous job with both mom and the neighbors impressed . They left the area and the grounds cleaned and looking better than when they arrived. This is the second job I have been involved with with Mountain View and the second one they impressed. If you need tree work done, make sure you contact them and give them a chance ! read more

Excuse me, but what good are all your positive reviews when a potential new customer calls to schedule an appointment and is told that "unfortunately, we are not taking any new customers at the present time"? Pretty shoddy service, that ! read more

Professional .. from the person who gave me the quote to the crew who actually did the work ... job was done well, cleanup was awesome.

we have used Mountain View several times and the expertise and service have been terrific every time. their arborist is excellent and the crew's very professional. we plan to use them again as needed. read more

The Mountain View Tree Service crew just left our home, and left a stunning new maple tree behind. We hardly recognize it. I didn't anticipate such artistry. Our tree has been sculpted, and they even figured out how to wrap its shape around those ugly cable wires that run along our street. They were friendly, courteous and professional, and cleaned up before they left. It's nice to work with a company with such a strong sense of business integrity. read more

We would definitely hire them again. They trimmed 2 Japanese maples and removed & stump ground 1 other Japanese maple. Clean-up was complete, and work was done without damage to surrounding plants. Everyone (office staff, arborist and work crew) was courteous and professional. read more

Mountain View Tree Service pruned a very large and overgrown variety of cherry tree and topped an arborvitum. They were respectful of our neighbor's yard where a number of branches were hanging and cleaned up very well. They asked how we wanted the tree pruned and made suggestions before starting to make sure that we were on the same page. The tree looks fantastic and they were extremely professional during the job. read more

Travis and the crew were out yesterday and did a phenomenal job. Highly recommend this company for any tree removal or trimming project. They were very knowledgeable, professional and did a great job cleaning up. read more

The three guys showed up right one time. Got right to work wasting no time. Few hours into it they were short 1 guy but the 2 hustled through the job. We had 5 cedar trees in our backyard. 1 guy up in the trees and the other on the ground. They did an excellent job. Highly recommend this company!!! read more

We work with Mountain View quite often. Their pricing is fantastic compared to others in the area, and even state-wide. If your tree is worth money, they have an avenue to earn you money, or help with the cost of removal. They do a great job, and they do what is in the best interest of their customer, even if it means they take home less at the end of the day. We can't plug them enough! Highly recommend! read more

We had Mountain View remove a dead tree in our yard and trim back a tree out front; both of which are behemoth trees in a residential neighborhood property (power lines, roadways, close house, etc.). The crews were incredibly friendly, thorough, and cleaned up where they could (stump grinding and saw dust being understandable vestiges of such work). Super reasonable prices, too. I'd use them again--but hopefully we won't have to! read more

These guys are great. They charged less than the competition, took lots of time to explain the tree-trimming options, and left the trees looking good. When I asked the crew leader to leave some branches for my landscaping project, he took a good look at what I was doing and brought me the right ones -- no extra charge. On top of all that, he was so friendly I nearly invited him to dinner. read more

We had a tree in our front yard that needed to go; it's roots were under our driveway and side walk and were starting to create cracks. The scheduling for it's removal was not too far out, they showed up when they said they would. They were thorough in protecting our property before and while they were here, checking out the work site and the job before they came to do the actual work. We received conformation phone calls for the appts a day ahead of time and since the stump had to be ground at a separate time, that happened both times. The clean up of the residue was thorough, as well. We are very happy with Mountain View's work, have used them in the past, and will do so again when a need arises. Highly recommend! read more

DO NOT hire this company. They DO NOT pay fair wages. The employees that are passengers in the work trucks are not paid. ILLEGAL!!!! All former and current employees should file a lawsuit. My cousin used to work there and he is considering a suit. read more

I had this company recommended by a friend who got multiple bids on removing a number of trees. She had found that this company was by far the less expensive and was very happy with their service. My husband and I were very happy with the quote and the customer service provided. We appreciated the representative coming out after the bid and in advance of the work to talk to us about the job and go over any concerns we had. The representative was very knowledgeable and was even able to recommend some tree varieties that might be a good match for our needs on the future replant. We have concrete curbing in our lawn and a piece was accidentally broken in the process of the falling of a very large Deodar Cedar. I appreciated the employees calling it to my attention right away and explaining that it was a rarity that this would occur and letting me know that a manager would be in contact with me. The manager was very prompt in contacting me and reduced my bill for the cost of the repair. The manager was an excellent communicator and ensured I was satisfied. More than anything I was so impressed with Mountain View Tree Service's attention to the customer. They really care about the customer's concerns and satisfaction and the quality and value of their service. A pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend! read more
