Because of Spine West, I was able to buy time and not pursue surgery. Overall, my issue was resolved by Sound Clinic in Denver. They used prolotherapy on my sacrum area and it worked literally over night. I went from not being able to walk to walking as long as I'd like. I was not able to do yoga for over a year and within days was doing yoga again. The reason this worked for me is that it narrowed down the fact my issues had come from a collapsed left arch, which in turn created a crooked sacrum and also led to disc herniation issues. I believe the steroid shots were diagnostic in figuring out the sacrum was the cause as I had asked for the S1 nerve root to be shot with cortisone and this provided enough relief for me to pursue the next step.

Everything was the same, same surgeon, medication management to get well. Pretty simple. My new appointment was much different. Within 3 minutes the new doctor diagnosed me with CRPS and I needed a spinal cord stimulator. She said no medications, UA's, physical therapy, they give nothing for 2 weeks, it's company policy. I said wow, you can tell I have CRPS from looking at me? She said she's aggressive in fighting pain... I added & frustration because if you read my record I have already had a spinal cord stimulator and it was ruled out it's not my spine. She told me to prove it!! I showed her my device card. She said no medications, I need PT and alternative medicine showing me what the office offers. I said ma'am I just had ankle surgery, listen to yourself... I need back surgery for ankle surgery? I left... they are focused on devices and services, not you. There is a book I found called Pain's Authority that helped me a lot. I gave the office the copy I had, it's a survived pain patient, it has a tree and rainbow on the cover. The staff was nice, but unhelpful. I cannot recommend them, it contributed to my frustrations and pain. Not recommended. How to improve? I hope they read the 68 page book and listen to patients. The patient is not always at fault! The 2 week policy is absurd, read the referrals, listen to the patients & offer help, not guidelines.

I have had a bad experience with Dr. Ray for the treatment I received for my car accident. He…read moreovercharged my insurance company for my appointments without ever providing me any statement or receipts for the treatment sessions for over 2 years, after which he claimed that I owed him more money, even though he had already received over triple the amount of what my treatment was going to cost - according to himself! At the start of my treatment, he had said that $2K would cover my treatment, then he found out that my insurance would cover up to $5K - which he charged them and got paid for. Then he claimed that I still owed him over $1,700. All in all, he got paid $6,800 for the same treatment that he had quoted me for $2K. He made me pay for my initial visit, and later I found out that he had charged my insurance for the same exact first visit. When I asked him about it, he agreed that he would reimburse me for that visit. However, to this day, with many back-and-forth emails, I have not received any payment. He just uses different excuses and plays games to avoid paying what he himself had agreed to. I do not trust Dr. Ray any longer. I will no longer get treatments from him nor will I refer anyone to him.

My daughter is also using them for both vestibular and orthopedic PT after a car accident and her positive experience with Premier was the reason I chose to use them.
