I still am dealing with the apple tree today. I've tried and tried to call Brittany to get the number to the other people in with no avail, and no callback. You don't truly realize how bad these things are until the weather gets better and it starts growing again. The guy that came out I believe was Jim and what a schmooze. I do not recommend these people unless you want to play games with trying to get a hold of them if there's any kind of problem at all. The crew was extremely professional, efficient, and worked incredibly fast. Everything was done safely, cleanly, and exactly how you'd hope a professional crew would handle it. As a firefighter, my crew at the station immediately volunteered to "help" me take the trees down ourselves. Let's just say chainsaws, a ladder truck, and a bunch of firefighters with a day off could have turned into a very entertaining situation for the neighbors. In the end, I decided to leave it to the actual tree professionals--and I'm glad I did. The Ablaze team made it look easy and had the whole job done way faster (and probably with far less chaos) than my crew would have. We had a fir tree cut down and hauled away…read more Aaron and his crew of two brought a wood chipper so, as Aaron climbed the tree, cutting and dropping branches, the crew pitched the branches into the wood chipper. At the top of the tree, he worked his way down cutting the trunk about every eighteen inches and dropping the short logs to the ground. We'd painted a line in pink so Aaron would know when to stop cutting (we'll attach a squirrel house on top of the stump). Everyone worked safely. The crew raked up any smaller branches and, when they left, it looked like no one was ever here.

I also asked questions about other trees on my property and he seemed happy to answer them. I looked up the license, bond and insurance and all was well just as he told me. Day one the first tree came down exactly where he had planned. Then the weather came in. HEAVY RAIN and STIRRING WINDS. He explained to me that the weather was having a impact on safety. Other people might of had a problem with the job not getting completed but I totally respected his concerns. It was my house under the trees after all. Rob was also bothered by thinking he was letting me down but that wasn't a issue at all. I told him to take a look at the forecast for the week and let me know. Then the big day came 6 more trees came down with precision accuracy. Rob had the safety of the other trees and my property at the top of his priorities. I don't think anybody else could have done a better job. Him and his partner Dave were very personal people and didn't mind us watching the whole process. They even explained a few techniques that lead to the trees goin the right way. At the end of the day it seemed like we had 2 new friends. A total of 7 trees all striking distance to my house.
