After my traumatic treatment with Dr. Trieu and their messy, unprofessional accounting practice at Mountain View Dental, I was deeply disappointed and finally decided to drop them for good and share my experience. My experience at Mountain View Dental was not just traumatic, but also deeply disrespectful. I had several crowns installed by other dentists throughout my adult life without any issues or feeling pain. I was scheduled for a new crown replacement at MVD at noon. As usual, the dentist and her assistant chatted through the whole procedure of their outings among themselves, as if I were nobody. The suction tube was not properly placed, I had to manually position it a few times to suck water out from my mouth. The procedure was rough and rushed. I was groaning in pain and raised my hand to signal my discomfort. Instead of pausing to give me a break or numbing shots, my cry was ignored, and my hand was firmly pressed down. I was told to be quiet and take a deep breath! I had never been treated so rudely or told to take deep breathing with a mouth wide open by a dentist. After the procedure was finished, I was even being judged as an ok patient. After making sure all fees were paid at the counter, I was sure I was not coming back. My experience at their Vancouver office was followed by a shocking incident. Six months later, I was blindsided by an unprofessional and offensive collection letter from their Ridgefield office. This was the final straw that prompted me to share my experience. The letter, printed on a plain A4 paper without a professional heading or letterhead, lacked standard business formatting. It claimed I owed them $25.6 and threatened to send me to a collection company if I didn't make payment directly to their Ridgefield office in 15 days. The only time I had ever received a collection letter was due to identity theft. I immediately texted their Ridgefield office for clarification, informing them of the insulting and obnoxious letter, and explained that all payments were confirmed and cleared at my last visit at their Vancouver office. I always pay everything in full and have an excellent credit score over 800. There was no way that I would owe such a petty amount. I requested the office manager to send me all the payment history made including those from the insurance company for audit if she insisted that I owed any amount. I had communicated with the office through phone calls, text messages, and emails in the past. Obviously, they have my address and all the contact information to send me the ledger and EOB she promised. After I returned from my business trip, I received no ledger but a letter from a collection company. It is laughable and unbelievable that any business would send a customer who contributed thousands to them for 3 years, never owed anything, to a collection company for only $ 25.60, while they also have to pay the collection company and probably could only get $ 12.80 back! It appears to me that they are so cheap, unprofessional and desperate for money. They don't even have a formal business letterhead and can not afford to mail a professional invoice to customers, like other healthcare professionals do. They would sever a customer relationship over $12.8! The collection letter is a harassment and humiliation to me. Due to their unprofessional and messy accounting, it added undue stress and time to my busy schedule to request all the billings and invoices through the collection company to audit their accounting. I am disgusted with their business practice and am torn between giving them free money for peace or spending time to investigate and report them. To me, the incident is unethical and unprofessional. I don't want to have any part with this dental office anymore and will take my business to other dentists who care, respect, and treat clients right with a proper business setup. read more

Found Dr Crusan after moving from out of state and haven't been to another dental office since. His staff in Ridgefield Wa make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Even when I had to have shots for crown replacement he made sure I didn't feel the injection. Having been traumatized as a child this allows me to comfortably go to see dentist without anxiety. My previous dentist I'd been with for at least 10 years. I also have been given warm blanket while there as I get cold easily. The front office staff explained what the procedures I was going to do and the costs involved. read more

Well, I give Mountain View Dental, Ridgefield WA, 1 star, because no stars may keep me out of the reviews system. Recently broke a tooth and looking for a dental office in my dental insurance provider network (to hopefully simply put a crown on this tooth). Got confirmation Mt View Dental accepts my dental insurance provider. All fine up to that point. Appointment made for 5-7 days away. Good/quick time frame considering I'm a new patient. But then it all went downhill from there! Received an email from Mt View Dental so I could fill out the sign-in paperwork on line. Only problem was there was a 4 1/2 page typed legal contract I would need hire a lawyer to advise me whether to sign regarding my and my dentists rights of the coverage/responsibility/liability of my "info" entered into this so called "Patient Platform". These 4 1/2 pages seemed to only cover my information I would be filling out. Not anything to do with coverage of any type of dental care I would eventually receive. On reading the contract, it seemed I had to give away all my rights of privacy, and the dentist seemed to have no distinct obligation of keeping my details private, so I refused to accept the details of this contract for the "Patient Platform". By the way, without my agreeing to the contract, I was not able to see any of what the "Patient Platform" actually entailed. (Caution: Seems common in most any business contract these days. You give up all your rights and absolve the business from any accountability if ya sign on the dotted line. But I digress.) After refusing to sign the contract, I copied it off and took the copy to Mt View Dental and informed them I refused to agree to the contract. The next person up the chain of command from the receptionist informed me she had never read the contract, and would do so and consult with the dentist as to whether some other form of gaining my info was possible. (This was about 4 days prior to my appointment, 2 of which was the weekend.) Kept looking for a response from Mt View Dental for yea or nay, but hearing none, on the day of the appointment I got up early and got ready to be there early to fill out the paperwork. Literally, less than 1 hour from the appointment time, received a call from Mt View Dental informing me, the caller had spoken to the dentist that very morning re. my situation, and was informed by the dentist their online info gathering system (requiring agreement to the 4 1/2 page contract covering my personal info) was all there is, so I cancelled my appointment, and will begin searching for another dental office in my insurance network area. And yeah, did inform Mt View Dental of their poor response time of informing me less than an hour before my appointment time that there was no other way of entering my info to them, other than their online form(s) that require one to agree to a 4 1/2 page legal document covering the patients info, which seems to strip the patient from any and all rights of protection of that info. read more

He alerted me to a minor problem and outlined several ways we could address it, including the "wait and see" approach, which I appreciated. I called over a month in advance to reschedule an appointment that I had a conflict with. Come to find out weeks later it was never canceled, as I received a text confirmation. A couple days later I received a phone call from the office asking if I was ready to set up my recommended treatments. I told the lady I was already scheduled and that I also needed to cancel the appointment that I had already cancelled weeks prior. She told me she would cancel it and then confirmed my other 2 appointments in March. The next morning, I AGAIN received a text confirmation of the appt I cancelled. A few minutes after the text, I received a phone call from a different lady stating that I asked for a phone call to reschedule appointments?? Nope, sure didn't ask for a phone call but asked her to cancel the appt that I've asked to be cancelled twice now. She was confused and asked if I wanted to cancel or reschedule. I had to explain that I already did reschedule and had two dates scheduled in March. She looked at the appts in March and they weren't even scheduled correctly. She also asked when I was going to come in to sign paperwork for the sedation......no one ever advised me to do so. I ended up canceling all appts while on the phone due to the several errors and miscommunication. read more

Dr. Crusan is a very caring dentist and he has great staff. My absolute favorite part of coming here is sitting in the waiting room (comfy seats and a water feature) and then the dental tech comes out and visits with you for a few minutes first, then after they chit-chat and put you at ease, then they bring you back to the exam chair. It's a really comforting transition I've never experienced anywhere else. I have been going here, gosh, how long has it been now, 7 years? more? anyway, I wouldn't go anywhere else, they really care about you, they are amazing. read more

Dr Crusan was referred to me by a friend. I really like the up to date and modern technology. He took a picture of a tooth that was cracked so I could see the damage. You never know when you go to a new dentist if they are being honest and this is proof that I did have a cracked tooth. His staff is very friendly. read more
