They first treated me fir a dental emergency even though I was not their patient. When Thomas Cleary began accepting new patients we immediately applied. The doctor did a comprehensive consultation and discussed our goals and pointed out issues which needed attention proposing options and prioritization. Very thorough and congenial. The entire team is efficient and friendly. The front office are so pleasant in their communications. The hygienist who did my first cleaning was very thorough and gave me explanations of what she was doing and where and how to improve my daily oral hygiene. This is a truly professional practice with pristine facilities and they treat you cordially and warmly. Wonderful!

They are about the least condescending medical providers I've ever known, and in all ways are professional, courteous and accommodating. Let's just take this as an example. Like most other medical providers, you have to fill out some paperwork when you first arrive. Fair enough. The *very first line* was "How do you want to be called?" Now I despise strangers calling me by my first name; it is rude and utterly non-professional. So I put down "Mr. T_______." And sure enough, they call me that, each and every one, without fail, without bobbling, every time. They ask questions. They sit down with you to plan out what work needs doing, what's affordable, and they LISTEN. If you're anywhere within striking range of Cleary, and you need dental work, give them your business.

They put ethics over money (not that you don't have to pay, but they work with you, without you losing your dignity, and make it seem their idea). The dentist sees everyone and you can tell standards are high. I've had A LOT of experiences with dentists in the area, and this is the first practice at which I felt everyone was on the same page, everyone knows me, and everyone is both human and therapeutic. I have been "fired" from every dentist in Hamp because I hate going and miss appointments - I've been treated so well I actually show up for everything. In this climate of health care, (and I work in health care) pulling off having a modern, efficient, clinically excellent dental practice while remaining welcoming and engaged is not easy. Thank you all - I do credit Dr. Clayton for likely setting the tone and high expectations, however it's clear that the entire staff - at least the three hygienists, two assistants, office manager, receptionists, all share the same priority and attention to detail. She first started working with me when I was around 14 years old, and had to deal with maryland bridges due to two of my front teeth missing from a congenital defect. Not only is she extremely thoughtful towards the cosmetic side, she is extremely precise and excellent at what she does. She is also just a very sweet, lovely person. I always found the staff very sweet, aside from one hygienist who lectured me about electric toothbrushes and their importance. (I knew the importance, and I am extremely hygienic, so I felt that she was trying to tell me I wasn't cutting it, which is just weird.) Anyhow, Dr. Robinson got rid of her. The whole office was welcoming, efficient, and understanding. I wasn't sure whether I would just live with the chip, but Dr. Teddi carefully examined the tooth and after using her imaging machine to show me the problem I agreed to have it repaired. As she went through the process, she explained everything beforehand and answered all my questions about the tooth. The work was painless and quick, and my tooth looks and feels great. I also liked the way everyone was treated in the office. Dr. Teddi was considerate with her assistant, Kevin, and kind with the dental student observing her work (she observed with my permission). While I recognize that this was my first experience at the office, the respect shown between everyone and the good communication skills I saw were obviously developed over time. Highly recommend.
