Pleasant, polite, and they LISTEN to you. Dr. Pinky is sweet, the technicians are all about keeping you comfortable.

Avoid this dentist. I was new in town and picked him out of the phone book and from the very first…read morevisit I was regretful of my decision. Like the review that wasn't recommended, but really quite true, I was made to wait an hour for my appointment, and when Dr. Tremblay was finally ready for me I was treated to a litany of insults about my oral care. He lectured me about how he has the equipment to do a better job at cleaning teeth and that I'm not doing a good enough job and that I should listen to him. By the time I left I felt as though I had been verbally abused. I went back hoping he had only been in a bad mood that day but, Nope, same lecture the next time. Less harsh but still carried on about what a bad job I was doing on my teeth and he was inordinately rough with the cleaning and flossing to the point where I bled. I do not have gum disease and I brush/floss daily. The real croup de grace was when my husband, needing dental care figured he'd give Dr. T a shot and, to the man's credit he DID do a great job restoring my husband's tooth, BUT due to an insurance mix up the payment was screwed up and $200 was not paid to the dentist. We only received two phone calls and maybe one letter before Dr. Tremblay decided it was appropriate to sue us for his money. Apparently his awesome attitude toward his patients had him raking in the dough huh? Otherwise, who is really that hard up they're running to sue someone for $200. Had he been more reasonable about contacting we'd have been happy to make arrangements but now, pretty sure no one should ever take their pets to this guy unless they want to be physically harmed, verbally assaulted AND taken to court.

I have been going to Dr. Tremblay for some 30 or so years and know that I have been under very good…read morecare. Although he is not Dr. Warm and Fuzzy, he is a professional that has his patients dental health at the top of his priority list. I have a similar story as Dae M. about the so-called "lecture" on dental care. Most of my 30 years with Dr. Tremblay one of the hygienists would clean my teeth. There was a lot of digging every time. Never once did anyone recommend I change my brushing habits. About a year ago, for some reason Dr. Tremblay did my cleaning. He did speak to me in his direct manor about my brushing habits. I told him I brushed twice a day but may have been a little lax on my flossing. He recommended a spin head tooth brush because he believed it would do a better job than my current one. I could have been offended but instead heeded his advice on the toothbrush and did a better job flossing. At my next cleaning with a hygienist, there was far less digging because there was far less plaque. In addition the office staff and hygienists have always been professional and I have never waited "too long" to sit in a chair. Bottom line, if you're looking for Dr. Charming, you probably won't find him in Dr. Tremblay but if your looking for a professional who really does care about his patients, then he's the guy to see.

They first treated me fir a dental emergency even though I was not their patient. When Thomas Cleary began accepting new patients we immediately applied. The doctor did a comprehensive consultation and discussed our goals and pointed out issues which needed attention proposing options and prioritization. Very thorough and congenial. The entire team is efficient and friendly. The front office are so pleasant in their communications. The hygienist who did my first cleaning was very thorough and gave me explanations of what she was doing and where and how to improve my daily oral hygiene. This is a truly professional practice with pristine facilities and they treat you cordially and warmly. Wonderful!

They are about the least condescending medical providers I've ever known, and in all ways are professional, courteous and accommodating. Let's just take this as an example. Like most other medical providers, you have to fill out some paperwork when you first arrive. Fair enough. The *very first line* was "How do you want to be called?" Now I despise strangers calling me by my first name; it is rude and utterly non-professional. So I put down "Mr. T_______." And sure enough, they call me that, each and every one, without fail, without bobbling, every time. They ask questions. They sit down with you to plan out what work needs doing, what's affordable, and they LISTEN. If you're anywhere within striking range of Cleary, and you need dental work, give them your business.
