Have been coming to this coffee stand for over a year since moving locally to Gold Bar, and on the entirety of RT 2, this is hands down the best coffee and energy drink stand! They have so many flavors, the friendliest baristas, and I've never had a bad drink experience here! Both of us needed a pick me up so we stopped at Mountain View Brew on the way back to Everett. I don't remember exactly what we ordered, something with peppermint, and this we the best cup of coffee I've had in quite some time. The barista was very friendly, and happy to see us. We stopped on a Tuesday, which is their slower day due to the drive in next door being closed on Tuesdays. I was wide awake and ready for the drive home, and wishing I had ordered a larger coffee. My husband and I stoped in two times this weekend. Such good drinks, we tried the Christmas in July and it was delicious, and the caramel macchiato was on point too! The girls who worked there were really nice and friendly too! Cute little shop! read more

Coffee is fine. Be careful with one of the baristas, however. The one who wears long gold colored necklaces. She adds her own tip with "custom amount" on the receipt. It seems small, but you will be charged a tip regardless if the service is great or not. This is unprofessional to charge extra, and should not be okay at any place to allow baristas to charge their own tips. read more

We needed refreshment and snacks after a morning of hiking in the cascades, and this place was great. The homemade lemonade was amazing and the sausage, cheese biscuits tasted great! Wonderful service and fair prices too. My wife loved the blended energy drink with milk. read more

Yummmm!!! Perfect post ski coffee stop. We were on our way home from stevens pass and really craving something warm. We stopped by and grabbed a chai latte. Suuuuper creamy and awesome milk! Best part is the coffee wasn't boiling hot. It was the perfect temp so you could sip it immediately. Ah, PNW I love you and your coffee. read more

Stopped here on our way back from camping. I had a dirty chai that felt a little heavy on the milk and I couldn't taste the espresso at all but it was good for what it was. There appeared to be just one girl working and she had quite a line so it took awhile to be able to order but she didn't seem flustered at all. There was also a cute little fruit stand that we were able to get some honey and peaches from while we waited. read more

Stopped by here because me and a friend were about to fall asleep driving to Lake Serene trailhead. Did NOT disappoint. I was immediately greeted with a welcoming hello, and the barista, since I was new, walked me through the menu. They have a great selection of coffee, add ons and snacks (bagels, sausage egg sandwiches, scones, etc). Is it better than Starbucks? You bet! I believe it was about 4$ for my 16oz order. My daughter and I have both had hair in our coffee several times. Way too many times for this to be a coincidence. Either that have horrible hygiene practices or some barista with a chip on her shoulder is deliberately adding extra protein to our lattes. Disgusting! read more

Super friendly barista had a lot to say about the weather and traffic on Hwy 2. The location is right off the highway in a 35mph zone, so it's easy to pull off, get some coffee, get back on the road. I highly recommend this coffee hut. read more

I just moved to the area, and because I work at a restaurant, I don't often stop for coffee (because I know I can get the good stuff at work!). I stopped yesterday in the middle of some serious errands, and I actually treated myself to coffee and breakfast this morning because I was so impressed! Both times I drove through, Cassy and her daughter, Morgan, were working, and they are both so nice, attentive, welcoming and informative. My iced Americano was delicious and strong, and my bagel was amazing. If you are driving up to Steven's Pass or just passing through the area, please hold out and stop here, you won't be disappointed! They also have a super rewarding points system for regulars. read more
