They had an older Tesla Model S for sale that me and my wifey were interested in. We found it online and messaged about it and they seemed to be good with us taking it for a test drive. We live about an hour away so we came into Orem to test drive it, and when we pulled in people inside looked over but nobody came out to the lot or anything. We walked around trying to find the car but we couldn't, so finally we had to go in and ask someone about the car, and someone reluctantly came to show us where it was. We asked for the person we had been messaging with and they told us that the individual was not in but they could help us. The new person then proceeded to show us the car and all was going well. When it came to it, we asked if we could test drive it and the person said yes absolutely. They went to go get the keys, but when they came back they told me they were actually "late for a wedding" and had to leave early so we couldn't test drive. This was off putting so I asked if someone else could show us the car and he brought his manager (at least that's what they said he was). The new guy said I wasn't allowed to test drive the car because it was a "performance car" and I could only test drive the car if they ran my credit, to (and I quote) "make sure" I could afford it and be approved for it. This immediately caught me by surprise, as the car was simply about $25k and was a USED HIGHER MILEAGE TESLA. I own a business and through my life have bought many cars, all of them performance vehicles or expensive trucks and never once had a dealership try to run my credit to verify I could "afford it" when inquiring. I politely asked why they had to run my credit as obviously that wasn't normal, but they didn't give me a straight answer and one of the guys actually even let out a sort of laugh when the other gentleman was "attempting" to explain. They were also highly condescending in tone. On the spot with that having happened we thanked them for their time and walked out, but we could hear them snickering behind us. Shame. We even had our checkbook with us as we were really interested in purchasing the vehicle on the spot. Guess they didn't want the business. We went here immediately after I got off work that Saturday and I wonder if they treated us this way because I had on work boots that had a bit of paint stains on them. Regardless of the reason this is not how a dealership should work. We put off leaving a review but I ran into the page here and see others have also had bad experiences and thought we'd finally share ours, in hopes of hopefully helping people stay clear. We weren't sure what to do - because we had more to take then our van could fit. Brady and Kellen heard about our story and reached out to us to see what they could do. To make a long story short, they found a way for us to use one of their vans for a cross country trip - just so we could get our daughter the medical care she needed in New Orleans. This really isn't the thing you do if money is your main aspiration and pursuit. It was turned into a clean title vehicle. A week after ownership, significant problems began to pop up. We purchased the extended warranty... Thank goodness for that, but there's only one place in Utah owned by NeXgen Motors. That can do the repair work. We have put 5000 miles on the vehicle, and all sorts of problems have popped up. She picked out a car she liked and asked all the right questions. Has it been in an accident, totaled, salvaged, rebuilt? Does the car have any safety features that need to be repaired? Levia swore up and down that the car was in perfect condition. There was a little issue with the breaks the first day. My daughter took it to the Toyota dealership and they didn't want to work on it. Levia then called their guy, who agreed to fix the breaks, rotate the tires, and change the oil. Several months later, when it was ready for another oil change, we took it to our family mechanic. He changed the oil then asked why we would buy a salvaged car when our daughter had been in the previous accidents. This was news to us. He proceeded to show how it had been in a front left collision that should have totaled the car. It was put back together with crappy welds, holes drilled to force bolts together, and hammered out frame and A pillar that was "fixed" with bondo and a cover-up paint job.
