    My 2014 Chevy sonic Ltz
    Kadie C.

I was there on May 25th 2015 and I left with a car that day. The selection and no haggle experience made the entire moment enjoyable. My family and I were able to walk the entire car lot without a salesman pressuring us to buy and when we were ready to test drive we simply asked for the keys. The prices were kbb and edmunds comparable and there were tons to choose from. When it came down to picking a car I even left and went to the local dealer to see if they could give me a better deal. Suffice it to say I came back in half an hour because the actual dealer didn't have the model I had fallen in love with. We trucked back down the road and sat down right away with Jace. The process itself took longer than I would have liked, however everyone was extremely polite and hospitable as we were offered water, Gatorade and cokes. Thank you Jace and everyone at mtn view for taking care of us, I hope the rest of my family returns to do business with you as well.

If professionalism, respect, and honesty are things you value in a car buying experience please spare yourself this headache. I'd like to preface this that if I'd received bare minimum customer service I'd rate highly and go about my business. The salesperson and sales manager I dealt with have spent more time and energy passing me off to someone else or just lying altogether than to remedy the issue. One would think that used car lots would want to break the stereotype of being untrustworthy and conniving but MTN View 153 leans into that stereotype happily. I purchased a 2016 VW Passat on 6/26, I did not receive the car until 7/7. I was told the vehicle needed to be serviced and detailed when I arrived and the salesperson pointed to the seatbelt buckle which was completely exposed and told me they are awaiting the part. I see no problem. I'm told I'll be updated on Monday, I do not receive an update until Thursday and am met with my first but not last excuse that they have been busy. Again, I'm cool about it. The salesperson tells me that car should be ready Friday. Great. I wait until the end of day Friday and am told their detail department keeps vehicles for a day. The concerns sets in as I work at a dealership and I'm fully aware of what stalling looks like. I hear no update all day Saturday. I ask the salesperson just level with me, what's the issue? She laughs and for some reason thinks telling me that she is dealing with multiple customers who also believe something is off due to the complete lack of transparency and communication will quell my suspicions. I ask why would I be told it'd be ready Friday if it's standard to keep it a full day? This question causes the salesperson to cop an attitude and tells me she's eliminating herself from the situation. She tells me the messages have been sent to the manager. I'm then passed off to the sales manager who has no clue who I am or the situation. He has a specialty for cutting the customer off before they can air their grievances with his prepared "sorry about that. Real sorry" line, he makes no concessions simply telling he'll be taking over my deal. He tells me the vehicle is ready but they can reverse deal that's just way more complicated. I almost tell him but think about how I've already gone through the process and if it's ready then it's whatever. The car is delivered to my dealership 7/7 and in my naïveté I don't check it. Surely this small problem has been remedied. I get in the car at the end of my shift and I see the seatbelt has not been fixed. Next I see coke or water stains in the seat and on the door, the tire pressure light is on and as a thank you the car is on perfectly on E. I immediately call the manager who provides more excuses than solutions, telling me service is gone for the day but he'll find out why things aren't done, gives me a number to send photos. I hear nothing all day 7/8. Fed up I send an email telling them to come get the vehicle, I'm approaching two weeks without a vehicle and correcting this is low on their agenda. I call today 7/9 and get more attitude as the manager tells me he's in sales meeting and I'm going off the deep end by being upset that a car a threw a couple thousand on isn't in the condition that I was told it would be in. That I've waited for. He says he'll call be back. I get a text an hour and half later stating the seatbelt cover has been ordered. Almost two weeks of waiting and he says he has no ETA. Not a peep on the dirty vehicle or cleaning it. Please pass on this. I know you're in a bind, know you need a ride but keep saving or shop elsewhere. I can't even imagine what people with actual mechanical issues are experiencing with this place. There no telling what kind of patch job is under the hood of this vehicle if the simple areas are skimped and dodged like this. These vehicles are being sent to a different dealer and no one at MTN View is checking the quality of that work. As my salesperson Bailey told me, "I sells cars. I don't work on them or detail them." I know the good reviews seem to outweigh the bad but ask yourself, do you want to possibly experienced this over a used vehicle? Be extremely vigilant if you do decide to shop here. Your money will be expected on time and in hand, their word and service will not be. Once you sign you will be on the back burner as they continue to "be busy" and collect more funds for vehicles they can't keep up with.

Was told I needed a major tune up. Cost was around $1200. 2 days later my check engine light was back on. Went back and had to leave my car because they couldn't figure out why. Ended up having to pay for a rental because the issue was now I needed throttle bodies and they had to be ordered. Ok and now another over $1000. Before I even got home the light was back on. Went back and was told needed a catalytic converter and another $3000. Well of course I went somewhere else and had that replaced. Then the braking system went down and replaced and then the charging system and was replaced. Then the transmission started acting up. Took it to what is now my new go to place and did a full diagnostic. When the new throttle bodies were put on, they failed to relearn the sensors to the new parts. So each system was breaking down due to this! Here I am out of thousands of dollars all because they failed to complete that simple process. So grateful for my new place and them getting my vehicle back to running how she was when I bought her! Been going through this for months, But God!

They insisted I only needed my oil changed to clear the code I had. They then broke a heating line on my car, lied to me and told me that it was brittle and old and broke on its own on a 6 YEAR OLD CAR. I contacted the service techs at Toyota and they informed me that was highly unlikely. Their manager then lied to me further and doubled down and gave me a bad discount. Businesses don't feel the need to give a discount if they're not at fault for breaking your stuff. Do not trust them to do anything more than change your oil, if that. Will never be back.
