Just as valuable, was the feedback he gave me after my hearing tests. This was the first time an audiologist provided me with a detailed analysis of why my ears struggle with certain frequencies. He gave me a realistic view of how the hearing aids would compensate. After the Lyric trial was over, they didn't pressure me into purchasing a hearing aid. When I could finally afford hearing aids, I began visiting other hearing centers to find the best deal within my budget. However, I was often shown hearing aids a couple grand more than I could afford and told I would be missing out a lot if I didn't spend more. I went to Rocky Mountain Hearing and Balance and was upfront about my budget, Chris showed me several hearing aids and deals they had going on that would fit my budget. The best part, however, was that he was able to find out that I was eligible for a discounted rate on hearing aids through my work's insurance company. With the insurance discount, the same hearing aids that used to be too expensive for me were well within my budget. I've had the hearing aids for almost a year now and continue to receive great service from Chris and staff in followup visits.

They also sent a new registration form to my email so I could complete at home rather than in the office. Arrived to the office and was greeted by a worker who took my temperature and asked if I've had exposure to Covid in the last 2 weeks. Very nice lady and also shows me they are concerned about safety. Facility is clean and tidy. Overall nice experience in this office. They couldn't explain what the bills were for, they couldn't tell me how much I owed from start to finish, they couldn't tell me how much money total they had received from me. I would think these would be basic numbers for a billing department. They sent me over the same statements that are on the ENT portal(That contain very little information as to what you are actually being billed for). Not only did my son need his tonsils removed, but dr. Shipley did an amazing job in surgery. Post-op & the hospital staff are amazing. It is pretty difficult getting appointments with this office. My son has had his ear tubes done 3 times in 2 years, so when he got 2 ear infections back to back, I called them to get an appointment. I told them that there was blood coming from his ear and a lot of it, but they didn't seem concerned so they booked us for an appointment 2 months later. We finally had the appointment last week and the doctor pulled out a huge chunk of crusty, congealed blood that has just been blocking his hearing for 2 months. He also did testing to find that his tubes aren't working, again! He said to do some ear drops for a week and then come see him again...but the next appointment isn't for another month, so I guess we have more waiting. Unfortunately, there isn't an ENT closer to my home that my insurance covers, so we just have to deal with it. Also, in 2019 I spent more than 3 months trying to figure out what was wrong with my throat, and after 3 different rounds of antibiotics, losing my voice completely for months and feeling terrible; my doctor finally decided that he needed to do surgery to remove the infection in my throat. Finally after months and surgery, he found that I had 4 infections, staf, strep, and 2 others that I can't pronounce. It took months to get my voice to not sound like I was sick & about a year until I could sing anything. After reading all this, if you choose to go here, expect to be dissatisfied with their service. The audiologist I saw (and highly recommend) was Mary Horn. I think there are several others but I loved Mary. I was fitted for my first hearing aid "ReSound" brand. It syncs with my iPhone and I love the app and also being able to listen to books, music, phone calls directly through my hearing aids. It has changed and improved my life more than I can express.
