The cabin was clean and appeared to be very well maintained. All of our communications with the owner, Doug, were very pleasant and he really worked to make sure we had the right cabin for our needs. We have now stayed at this cabin three times and it has been a great experience every time. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

Due to covid you can't enter the office rather you just knock on the door and the rep opens the door for you. We originally followed our GPS to the actual cabin. Big mistake! We ended up backtracking and following the directions provide on the check on material. We stayed in the Grandview cabin which has 5 Bedrooms 3 Bathrooms. Nice cabin for the price with okay amenities. Aside from the master bedroom and bath the rest are all pretty basic, all have queen size beds. There's 2 TVs in the cabin, one upstairs and one downstairs. The cabin sits right up from a couple of lakes where you can fish. The only issue it's pretty close proximity to other cabins also it's a continuing driving park so people were literally driving by to get to other cabins. We had a wasp problem but they sent someone out quickly to tend to the issue.

My Love and I were warmly greeted by this little old lady who gave us some fresh baked bread to take with us to the cabin. We went in March ... the 10th through the 13th during Spring Break. It was cold. Tellico Vacation Rentals has several beautiful cabins to choose from.... we stayed at the View Point and the photos I uploaded are just of this cabin. I have spent over twice as much for a condo down in Ft. Walton Beach and not had as much space, beauty and privacy as this. The hot tub was so strategically built that while in it you were only exposed to the gorgeous sky and tops of swaying pine trees. Like I said it was cold but we couldn't tell in the hot tub even at night when the temperatures dropped... I REALLY enjoyed the hot tub ;). What would have made it better is if it had snowed. I highly recommend this cabin. It's huge but perfect for just a couple/honeymoon OR can sleep up to 8 in my opinion.

Upon arrival, the water heater had went out and the floor was flooded. We called the office and was asked if we could go somewhere for a hour or so, while she sent maintenance. We agreed even tho we were completely exhausted from the day and had brought food with us to eat that evening. We went to a local restaurant only to return to the same problem. Long story short. The room absolutely stunk like a musky smell. The sheets didn't look like they had even been changed. On top of that we itched all night long in bed. Not sure if that was mosquitoes or what because we couldn't open the back door cause of all the wasp flying around. It was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have since learned that this place was sold to New owners and the service has from this place has tremendously dropped. The new owners don't care for their guest like the previous owner. I was over charged, when i called about the charge i was emailed a receipt and was told there would be a copy on file and when i arrived it would be taking care of. long story short, that never happened! i had to even pay extra! i had no choice but to keep the cabin or loose all of my money. To top that off, there was swarms of bees all over our back deck, when i called the office they offered no help and i was told pest controll had been called and i could purchase some spray myself at the local dollar store! Wanted to do a quick getaway from Atlanta and chose tranquille resort. We decided to come and stay…read morefor two week nights as the prices were cheaper and with the wifi, we could work as well. It's only about a 2hr drive from where I am but there was a bit of traffic getting out of atlanta on a wed afternoon when we left so we didn't get in till dark. I called to say we might miss the office check in hours (till 6pm) so they kindly left the key in the cabin for us for whenever we arrived which was very helpful. The rooms were clean and kitchen and bathroom had pretty much everything you needed. We also utilized the charcoal grill. Only complaint was the lighting was a tad dark during the night but maybe it's to help you relax. Loved the view of the lake from the cabin, it was beautiful to wake up to. We were also able to bring our dog for a $60 fee. House rule does say no dog on bed so keep that in mind. There was a little doggy station on site and we were able to walk him around the property to potty. He enjoyed his stay and we liked going to the nearby trials in the morning/afternoon for a hike. There's an ingles nearby as well as some other restaurants if you need food options like McDonald's, Dunkin, couple of Pizza chains, and whatever a small town typically has to offer. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

All needed kitchen utensils, appliances and housewares are available. A dishwasher and full-size washer and dryer round out everything needed for a longer stay. Did I mention the view? Start or finish the day on the back porch gazing at the mountains and Lake Chatuge. We are planning to be back during the summer to take advantage of the boat docks, on-site canoe rental, kids playhouse and a cool swim in the lake. Did I mention the staff? Everyone( Greg the owner, Jennifer the manager, Vicki and another young lady) made sure that our stay was comfortable
