If you are ever staying in Mammoth, I highly recommend having these guys come to you for a massage after a day of skiing. I was exhausted and sore and having a hard time adjusting to the altitude the first day I skiied. After we came off the slopes 2 girls came out to the house we were staying at and we all got massages. It was one of the best massages I have ever had. I loved that they came to us too. We used Mountain Mobile Massage for a weekend group trip. 6 people in the group of 10 got massages. They sent two girls to the house and we had the massages back to back. It was amazing to have them come to us and set up in our house. Both of the girls that they sent were AMAZING. Almost everyone said it was the best massage they had ever had. It could have been that we were all exhausted from the slopes but I don't think so. They really knew how to get into the muscle and work it out without hurting too much. I have never had an "in home" massage until last week. I'm not sure why but some how I felt strange having someone come to my house to give me a massage. Well, after last week I am hooked! The therapist, Melanie, arrived on time and was very professional. She had everything with her to make the experience complete -- she even brought music! The portable massage table was super comfortable and the warm heating pad was wonderful. Melanie knew exactly what I needed as I was suffering from severe rib pain from an injury. Not sure what the technique she used is called but I immediately felt relief. The best part about an in-home massage is I was able to stay in my robe and relax without the hassle of driving anywhere. My husband and I both got massages from Jill this week in Mammoth. Found her on Yelp and called after reading terrific reviews. But wow. She really is a great massage therapist. She did deep tissue massage but used her knowledge of shiatsu to get to muscles that needed help. I have never experienced some of the techniques she used. They worked! I will definitely go back to her the next time I am in Mammoth. Would highly recommend her for anyone who has hip or neck pain-or tight muscles anywhere, really. I'm picky about my massages and Melanie (who is an owner of Mountain Mobile Massage!) was great. Very professional, she has a passion for massage and has visited the world to study different techniques. Her youthful looks belies her experience. After a day on the slopes, I met her at my room. She came with a full massage table, heating pad for the table, linen, oils, creams, and great music. I got a full 90-minute deep tissue and it was strong, and very thorough and complete. I was offered a face and scalp massage; make sure you get it. Wow. I think she was there for an hour and 45 minutes because of setup. I'm not really sure. I was a little spacey after the massage. Payment at the end of the massage was super easy using my credit card. My muscles felt sooooo good after the massage, and I had been skiing hard. My husband and I booked back-to-back in suite massages today which we have never done before. I was skeptical at first as it can be awkward and uncomfortable if the professional lines are not maintained, especially in such a private setting. Melanie, our massage therapist, arrived with her table and immediately began setting up. She was very polite and professional and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. My husband and I took turns keeping our 5 year old busy while the other enjoyed a relaxing 60 minutes (rare for us). She set the tone with lights and music and was very accommodating to our snowboarding aches and pains. What I loved most about her massage was the way she not only worked out the knots, but also stretched and loosened all the joints. I have constant sciatica pain and she was able to pin point the spot! I will for sure be calling this mobile massage every time we come back here!!
