By referral from an elite endurance running coach, I was able to obtain two massage therapy sessions with Michelle during my 5 weeks of altitude training here in Mammoth. Historically, Michelle has worked with several professional athletes in different sports, but it appears she is currently focused on assisting the road and trail endurance running community. I have been running for 16 years and she is the first CMT that fully understands my physical ups and downs, and is able to directly assess and address my ailments. It is unfortunate that I live too far away in Los Angeles to see her on a regular basis, BUT I am truly fortunate to have her prepare me for my ultra trail race this upcoming weekend. Thank you Michelle! read more

Michelle has yet to disappoint me. I have been seeing her regularly for over two years. She has been the difference in healing from sports injuries, and just general fatigue. My latest injury tested me, but not her. When physical therapy wasn't helping, her therapy miraculously did. read more

The Very BEST massage I have ever had in my life! Michele is fantastic!

I wish I lived closer so I could see Michelle again sooner than later. By far the best massage I have ever had. I came to Mammoth with the intention of snowboarding but a bulging disc injury from 6 weeks prior had me on the healing path. She got right into areas that needed the most help and continued to work areas that I didn't even know needed the attention. I always long for a body worker to have the type of pressure and technique that Michelle used, and I didn't even know it. If I didn't live 6 hours away I would make an appointment every month. I can't say enough about how great my experience was. I will definitely book with her anytime I am in Mammoth. Thank you! read more

If I could put a billion stars for Michelle, I would. I can't even begin to explain the magic in this woman's hands. She is hands down the best massage therapist not just in mammoth, but on the whole west coast. When I go to see michelle, she doesn't ask me what's hurting, she can see it. And she rids me of my pain every time. Also, she is super rad to hangout with. If you're in mammoth, give Michelle a call. But warning, she books up really fast. So call WAY ahead read more

Really really fabulous massage. And a great gal to work with. Check her out.

Michelle is THE BEST massage therapist I have gone to! She really listens to what is hurting you and works on it until it is feeling better. I always walk out of her massages feeling like a new person and very relaxed! I highly recommend her! Whether you are just visiting or live in Mammoth, she is the person you want to see. read more

Michelle is a miracle worker. She has a gift in her natural and educated talent. She understands people, the body and is one of the 2 best massage therapists I have ever experienced - EVER. She is also affable, affordable and goes with your desire to talk or not, to share information with you and make holistic recommendations for your body and lifestyle. You know when you come across someone doing exactly what they were created to do on earth, who do it well, and it shows? This is it. I cannot recommend her any more than I do - and if it is hard to get into her schedule - believe me, it is worth the wait. read more

Michelle is an amazing therapist! I was injured skiing and she fit me in at the last minute - which was incredibly kind. The massage itself was really awesome. I had no idea how tight my whole body was. After a massage with Michelle, I was able to go out and ski the next day. 100% highly highly recommend!!! read more

Read all of the reviews, they are right! This is not expensive lotion application. This is valuable maintenance and repair for your body. I have a standing, weekly appointment. Without Michelle, I would not be able to work and play and travel - I think I would crumble to pieces. I respect her skill because she is continually learning and searching out new techniques, delving in and getting new certifications all the time. Every week she comes up with new material, which she is able to intelligently apply because of her anatomical knowledge. I have a standing appointment because she is SO good, she books up. You need to plan ahead - it is worth it! read more

Michele is a rock star. She was able to see me on short notice. Shes very knowledgeable and well experienced in her craft. Located right off Main St her studio was easy to find. Highly recommend read more

After two days of boarding, I booked an appointment with Michelle. I had an amazing 1 hour session with her. My muscles really needed the firm work and the next day I felt so refreshed! Her office is inviting and comfortable. I'm so glad to have found her even though I only come up here 2x a year. I hope to see her again soon! read more

Oh my stars. Best massage EVER! Michelle has regularly taken care of my boyfriend and I for the last couple of years and we are so fortunate to have her! She works on a ton of professional athletes so she's great with working on your sore skied out muscles. Pregnancy massage is hard to come by and she does that as well! There is no measure to her talent and there is no one even comparable to her value. Our small town is fortunate to house her magic hands!! read more

Michelle comes to my house for private therapy for my husband, my daughter, and me. We have used her for 5 years. She is more like a physical therapist than a masseuse. She does true body work with deep anatomical knowledge. Definitely the most qualified massage therapist in the Eastern Sierra. read more

I've known Michelle for several decades, as she grew up in Mammoth Lakes. She is by far the best massage therapist in the area

Michelle is our favorite massage therapist anywhere. After getting up from her table we always feel aligned and relaxed. She has an incredible technique, incorporating stretch into the work and knows hows to loosen tired achy muscles. She is always a top priority when we are in town. Wish we lived closer, we would see her weekly if we did! read more

For the two years I lived in Mammoth, I saw Michelle once a week, (and sometimes twice)... I am greatly missing her and her amazing work as I have relocated to a new city. Michelle is an incredible, caring, and intuitive person. She is armed with an arsenal of knowledge and skill in massage, and will use the proper tools necessary to treat and care for the unique individual at hand and circumstance. As a professional athlete in distance running, she has helped me learn to care, respect, and listen to my body, and in this process has also been there for me to achieve an amazing Olympic Trials Qualifier and World Championships performance. Her work and her support is everything I could ask for. I WILL go out of my way to see her whenever I head back to California, and I may even hire her for long stints abroad, (if I can ever get her away from her busy schedule and massive clientele she attends to). Go see her. That is all. read more

Long work week, long ski week, or just feeling a little bit beat down? Well Michelle is without a doubt your solution. The best massage in the Mammoth (and the whole Eastern Sierra)! This is the real deal folks; some serious deep tissue sports massage. You'll leave her table feeling ready to get back out there and crush it with all your everyday mountain recreation. With a local clientele including some of the top athletes in the area (and the US), Michelle has the experience, education, and professionalism to correct any body issue. read more

Love, love, love Michelle! She always spends extra time with me and works on those extra painful areas. She is amazing!

The best massage therapist in town! As an athlete, I need constant body work and I have been so lucky to have Michelle's skills to keep my body relaxed and aligned. She's strong and powerful and well educated on all the mechanics of the body! I love her deep tissue massages! read more

What a wonderful post ride massage. So happy she called my name after the Mammoth century. Highly recommend her strong touch.

A massage from Michelle really rounded out our stay in Mammoth. After days of skiing, she was able to relieve the soreness. Michelle is very attentive, personable and affordable. From the people I know in Mammoth, Michelle has a good reputation and gets booked up quick. If you plan to pay her a visit, you'll need to book ahead of time. My wife and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her. read more

A previous review suggested that Michelle should get a billion stars. That is an understatement. Michelle has tremendous anatomical and intuitive knowledge of the body. My wife and I are hoping to recruit Michelle to LA but if we cannot at the very least we will be permanent clients in Mammoth. read more

I started going to Michelle about 4yrs ago after I won a freebie at a benefit event. Many friends had recommended her and I'm sorry I didn't start earlier. As a professional athlete, I was unaware of the benefits a caring massage could provide. But Michelle has also helped me recover from debilitating back pain, a torn achilles tendon, a surgically repaired rotator cuff and bicep tendon, and a torn calf. My insurance used to pay for it, but when Mammoth Mountain cancelled health insurance for seasonal employees, it was an easy decision to continue on a regular basis even though I have to pay from my own pocket. read more
