Mediocre pizza- deserving of 1-star and I'll explain. We ordered pizza for delivery. There was no issues with the delivery, but the pizza was terrible. I want to warn you that they use a low-quality par baked pizza crust. Their website says dough is rolled out daily, but this can't be the truth. I know a par baked crust pizza because of the manufactured nature- pin holes on the bottom, nearly perfect round pies, no air pockets (bubbles) in the crust edge after cooking, and the worst, common offense, raw spots in the dough after cooking. When you use garbage ingredients like this the result is a terrible pie. We ordered from Mountain Mike's because we thought it was a local pizza shop. The business name is misleading for a mountain town. However, after the disappointing pizza I discovered it's a California chain. No offense to franchise pizza joints, some pass, however Mountain Mike's does not. This is simply put- bad pizza and nothing that a franchise owner could do to correct. At least now you can make a better informed decision on if you should patronize this place. read more

We took our family for the lunch buffet and I can't say enough good things about this place! Food was wonderful, salad bar had a huge variety! The best part was the service! A++++ service! We have been in a couple times recently and the service has always been AMAZING! Super impressed! The restaurant was clean and we love the music and ambiance! Is it worth it? That is the question you'll need to ask yourself when going here. The pizza is always really good, the price however should make even the savviest pizza connoisseur second guess their decision. On our recent visit after ordering online, I arrived at the time the pizza was to be ready, I walked in and the lady behind the counter seemed to deliberately ignore me and the next few people that walked in. Keeping her head down as she walked back and forth to the register and to the window were the pizzas came out. There was no line when I came in, after several minutes of ignoring everyone, there was now a line out the door. Why take orders from more people when you're behind on filling them right? She finally acknowledged me, my order had 1 of the 2 pizza's and our side salad ready but strangely the other pizza wasn't ready yet. 4 more orders were filled over the next 10+ minutes (like 6-8 pizza's coming out of the oven) before my second pizza came. Not sure how or why they separated my two pizza's 15 minutes apart. The pizza was good but 2 stars for consistently terrible service. Get this...I ordered on-line for pick-up, get there and they tell me they substituted a topping we'd ordered for one we didn't. The one they added well for us it was a notch or two better than if they'd puked on it. No accomodation offered. No refund for the item we did our best to scrape off and thow in the trash. The salad bar was decent. And our daughter liked the wings. But the pizza was yuck! Crust was hard and tasted like cardboard. I was having troubles with the app. So when I called and got Tristan on the phone. He took care of my order and was super apologetic for the problems I had with the app. H was running around making sure everything was taken care of in the store and was so nice!!! Stopped by for the lunch buffet. I'd say the food is decent - probably a little step above Dominoes. The service was friendly - I just get annoyed by the tip creep culture we find ourselves in these days. You want a tip for a buffet where I serve myself? It's not just this establishment though.... I have been to this place about 4 times and every time I've had to wait AT LEAST 40 min for our pizza. It's extremely frustrating because we show up on not crowded nights but are still left waiting. It's almost like pick up orders get priority? Also, a couple of the times we've been the dough has been very crispy on the bottom and very doughy on top. All that being said I do enjoy the pizza. Terrible ... I feel so badly leaving a review like this but it was not good service. They had to people who had no idea what they were doing at the front, one young lady with a broken arm was rude and unprofessional with handling the stress, they let 5 pizzas sit under the warmer for 10 mins before calling out any names or numbers.. I get a good hire is hard to come by in this day but they definitely need more professional people working the front to help in busy time read more

I grew up with Mountain Mike's in Northern California, and the quality at this location matches everything I remember from that time. Just called to make a delivery order was on hold for eight minutes and nobody answers the phone. Then it automatically disconnected. Then I call back again. They finally answered at exactly 8 and said they stopped taking deliveries five minutes ago so I explained to them that I've been calling and nobody answers. Have been here twice now. First time was when they were fairly new and was pretty crowded. Waited a little over an hour for our pizza, which is WAY to long. Even though the wait was long the pizza was excellent. I mean it was when they had just opened and was so crowded so based on that I thought I'd give them a second try. Called in a phone order and girl said it would be about 20 minutes for the pizza. Arrived right at 20 minutes and had to wait an additional 5 for it to be ready, which is fine. Rather wait for it to come right out of the oven then have to sitting around for 10 minutes. Once again pizza was really good, hot and fresh. The food is AMAZING here! A lot of times "fancy" pizzas have super thin crusts or minimal toppings, but these pizzas are HEARTY and soooo yummy!
