Camp ground is beautiful, swimming pools are clean. Concern, restrooms and showers are neglected and filthy. I would expect this from a public facility, not a private resort where we pay thousands of dollars to belong.

Sophia was so wonderful at the night desk. She gave us the best attitude and wonderful attention to detail. Thank you Sophia for all your help.

I got to come here on a visitors pass while some family members were staying and honestly.. it was great. If I was in a different place in life, I would become a member with my boys. The fishing is peaceful and awesome (not much of a challenge for those who prefer natural water but for kids it was a blast), the whole area is so clean and well taken care of, and the best part? The other campers. The people that we met were so friendly and incredibly kind, it's sad how much that means in this day and age. We were with a group of young boys who have never filleted a fish in their own but they were welcome to watch the more experienced people with no judgement and when it came time to step up and try it themselves, an older gentleman got out of his car to show them the ropes. I wish I knew who this man was so I could send him a thank you card. We had a great time and would love to visit again.

How much do they charge here to stay in a tent overnight?

In July of 2019 rates had gone up from $60 a night to $80 a night per site for guests at Mountain Lakes.

If I where to buy a membership, how many wks a yr can you stay.? Is it a in for a time.frame then out a couple? Is there a limit per year. And do the maintenance dues go up yrly…

You are welcome to stay for a time frame and then out for the same time frame before staying again, all year round.

Do they allow campfires or is it propane only?

Firepits are allowed but only chemical logs like Duraflame or propane may be used. Absolutely NO wood fires!

    How big are the campsites?

They vary. We have been members since 1985 and started with a camper van and tent. We graduated to a 26 foot travel trailer and recently a 36 foot 5th wheel. We have always found sites to meet our needs and have never regretted our membership. If…

Dont waste your time this place is ridiculous the cabins r run down and they smell like no one cleans them .dont let the free weekend fool you .its not worth the $$$.

If you are a member how long can you camp thiere?

Somewhat true, there are residents ( they will tell you there aren't but there are) . If you are thinking about buying don't.... The park has become VERY run down lately, lots of electrical and plumbing problems, I know this first hand as I have…

Every detail was so creative, planned with intention and executed to perfection! So many photo opportunities for the bride, groom and wedding party! The tables were beautifully decorated and stunning! Some tables were in full sun until later in the evening. Maybe some shade for those tables? The grazing table was beautifully crafted and they had 2 staff members adding the guests selections in a cup. Another staff member walked around with quesadilla appetizers. They also had a bar with signature drinks. Dinner was a buffet of tri-tip, salmon, mashed potatoes, green beans, Ceasar salad and rolls. The dessert table was under a rustic gazebo with a chandelier. Stunning! In the beginning of reception, part of desserts were in the sun. It would be nice if there was a way to have some shade on it for hot summer days. The DJ had many guests dancing on the dance floor and played really good music! Having an area for s'mores was a nice touch. They had the cutest rustic cabins, not far from the wedding reception area. Our adorable studio cabin ~Pine Rose~ was definitely a memorable stay! I was wearing the ring that evening and still had it when I went to bed, but it was gone by morning when I began packing. The ring is approximately 3 carats total, including a 2 carat center stone. We searched the room thoroughly before leaving and rechecked all luggage again once we got home, with no success. My husband contacted the hotel and was told the morning staff would be asked. Given the value of this item, that response is not sufficient. A property at this level should have a clear, documented lost-and-found process with accountability, rather than relying on informal follow-up. We paid over $600 for a one-night stay. The level of urgency and communication so far does not reflect the seriousness of the situation. I am requesting that management conduct a formal review, including verification with housekeeping, review of lost-and-found records, and any applicable security procedures, and provide a direct, documented follow-up.

On a recent vaca week spent in Palm Springs, my husband and I wanted to check this place out. We brought our own food and water canisters, which was good because the food there wasn't great (fried chicken, chips, cookies). The margarita's are decent, so that was nice. We had a totally fun, no pressure time. Everyone is super respectful of what you and your partner are into and not into. We said we're just enjoying our day together, and that was the end of that- truly no pressure. Conversely, we saw some couples say they wanted to do the whole swap thing, and that they did. Again though, no judgement and everyone is mature about it. We spent the day chillaxing au natural in between the pool and hot tub. It was a fun and sexy day, and we would go again. If you're debating going here... I'd say go! I was so nervous beforehand, and then it ended up to be no big deal at all.
