    Metal arm not attached by bracket as evidenced by no holes in the cover proving that the lift was never secured to the cover.

    Do not shop here! They do not back their products, don't install items properly & when they do mess up, they won't take responsibility! We bought a spa cover and they charged us $1000 for just the cover & install/delivery! They claimed my $500 cover was double the price due to "Covid supply shortages". They delivered & installed the cover on my old spa lift mechanism in 4/2022. Mountain Home Center's installers did not secure my old lift to the new spa cover in 2 areas and as a result, my lift broke and destroyed my new spa cover in the process all in less than a year. The spa paneling had almost ripped off as well! Our spa cover was bending all the way backward & leaning up against the stairs! Our property management company had other rentals that had the same cover & lift and the brackets were secured to the cover in every instance, but not in ours. We got two contractors who said the brackets were supposed to be secured to the cover. I even called the manufacturer who confirmed that it should have been secured! Also, my same old lift that they used on my new cover WAS secured to my old cover, but not to my new cover. When I called Mountain Home Center, they sent the owner/manager, Sam, out to take a look. He insisted that the lift and cover were installed properly without any explanation and that our "renters" must have broken the lift because they found 2 caps on the ground (had nothing to do with the cover & lift at all). We sent him videos and multiple photos showing that the brackets are supposed to be secured to the cover, but he repeatedly refused to explain why he felt the lift was secured properly despite the overwhelming evidence otherwise. He wouldn't meet us or our contractors at my house to explain his position. Look at the photos I attached & decide for yourself whether or not they should be secured. Why would the manufacturer let those brackets hang loose? Metal bars shouldn't be poking up if they are not secured to the cover - it is a hazard. This is very disappointing as we had purchased many items in the past from them and had spent a lot of money in their store. It is very upsetting that they do not value customers and were willing to lose us over $950 when even the manufacturer told them they didn't install the lift mechanism properly.

One item wasn't marked at all, and the other showed a $10 sticker with an additional 50% off. When I scanned the barcode in the Ace Hardware app, the item rang up as $2.99, so I kindly requested a price match based on Ace's own listed pricing. The manager entered the interaction abruptly, avoided eye contact, and loudly exclaimed "What the F***"--a remark heard by several customers in nearby lines. This was both unprofessional and unnecessary. He then insisted the online price was inaccurate and attempted to charge an incorrect amount ($31.99!!), even after I showed the product information. I ultimately ordered the items for in-store pickup at the correct price, but the situation could have been resolved quickly and respectfully in the moment. I've included a photo with the serial number so this can be reviewed by leadership and handled more appropriately going forward. The rest of the staff was excellent; the issue was solely with the manager's conduct. I hope future visits to this location reflect the professionalism Ace is known for.

I called back that day after confirming some measurements and she took my order over the phone and processed the payment on my credit card. Approximately 1 week later I called asking for an estimated shipping date. I was then told the order had not yet been placed with the furniture manufacturing company and they would be unable to do so until the owner got back from vacation, they were not sure when that would be. I asked if I could cancel my order and get a refund and they apologized and said they would reach out to the owner. The following day I received a short e-mail stating my order was placed and shipping information would be sent ASAP (I never received shipping information). Two days ago I received a text message that the chairs were ready to be picked up, I responded I would be by after I got off work to pick them up and got no reply back. I went by the store first thing on Saturday and waited in front of the business 45min past the posted opening hours of 10am, no one showed up. There was no sign regarding closures or inability to open and, of course, no answer on the telephone. I placed my order 28 days ago and I very much regret it. Too expensive for this poor of customer service. I have no comment on the quality of furniture because I have not seen the chairs.
