We truly appreciate Western Construction. They worked with us on every detail. I started with…read moreLeah and then completed setting details with Marcie.oved working with this team. Once the Construction started it was artfully done and completed in a short period of time. Jim and his crew did a great job on our rock siding on the frong of our house. We highly recommend this company for any job big or small. Darlene and Allan Junk

We expected professional workmanship, reasonable timeliness, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Most unacceptable was the destruction of our Japanese Maple, valued at approximately $6,000. They not only broke branches, but also cut off/trimmed multiple branches without our knowledge. This was a substancial loss to our property and something that should never have happened with proper care and consideration. The delays, repeated follow-ups, and damage to our landscaping fell well short of the professionalism and accountability we expected. A homeowner should not have to repeatedly chase a contractor to finish a job or suffer the loss of a valuable tree in the process. We would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to ask detailed questions about project timeliness, quality control, and how property damage is handled before signing a contract. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company without serious reservations.

We placed our shutter order in early April and were initially given a delivery date of 6/18, with installation scheduled for 7/7. When that date came and went, the installation was rescheduled for 8/5. Despite having a new installation date scheduled, the shutters still had not arrived. At that point, it had been approximately four months since we placed our order. Throughout the process, communication was a major issue. We consistently had to reach out ourselves for updates rather than receiving proactive communication about the delays. We also had to take time off work for scheduled installations that ultimately could not happen, which was both inconvenient and costly. Eventually, we reached a point where we no longer felt comfortable moving forward and requested a full refund of our 50% deposit. Unfortunately, after requesting the refund, our messages were no longer being answered, and we were essentially left without a resolution. Because we could not get a response or resolve the issue directly in a timely manner, we ultimately had to dispute the charge. We ended up going with another company instead and they completed our shutters in approximately three weeks. Having now gone through the process with another company, I learned firsthand that getting shutters delivered and installed does not necessarily have to take months. The second company was able to complete our project in about three weeks, and the overall experience was significantly smoother. I genuinely believe in supporting small businesses, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I understand that delays can happen, especially with custom products, but clear communication, realistic timelines, and responsiveness when a customer has a legitimate concern are incredibly important. Based on our experience, we would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to carefully ask about current lead times, delivery expectations, communication during delays, and the refund process before placing an order. We personally would not feel comfortable using this business again.
