Rob was kind enough to explain the cigar smoking area and how he came about working there. He's really friendly and the lounge was beautiful and tranquil. The taxidermy is incredible though, great decor. I don't know how to smoke cigars, if I did, I'd have definitely stayed there for hours. It's beautiful really, and they're open late, til 8! They don't have the biggest selection of cigars, but do have enough to where you can find something you familiar with and want to smoke. They have a decent amount of pricier cigars if you wish to indulge in. We enjoyed the decore and they do have a selection of cigar & tobacco related accessories if you looking for them. Being able to smoke a pipe in the establishment is a plus. The only downfall is they are only open 3 days/week due to slow business. Thanks Matthew for the conversation and making us feel at home.

All of these are gone now. But Palm Springs still has a Tinder Box, and along with a well stocked humidor, they have a good range of pipes, pipe accessories, and tobaccos. This is a rare and wonderful thing and I will support them as much as possible. They are also the best place in the Valley for cigars. Prices are high, but that's not their fault. California taxes all tobacco products indiscriminately, so while rightfully trying to drive people to not smoke cigarettes, they have also destroyed the market for premium cigars and pipe tobacco. I'm happy that the Tinder Box is still around, and right down the street. Give them some support if you can.
